  1. That's what I'm saying. He ran routes and he ran them incredibly fast. He was a body catcher with zero sense of physicality and he made a career running deep slants.
  2. ill say Correa, since he contributed overall nothing last year, but i think he has some solid traits to become an ILB. settling into a role and getting a reality check last year should do a lot for him. hes a dog with a hell of a motor and athleticism, also appears to have pretty natural instincts and awareness.
  3. D-block double R
  4. Lmao that jadakiss quote... well played
  5. The forums are the only redeeming quality of this garbage site. Their only reason is that they feel they have better avenues for this same type of discussion. But in reality those avenues are large crowds of idiots who think cutting flacco and hiring ray Lewis to coach is the solution to everything. We have real football talk here, they want us to rant and rave with the village idiots. There is no valid reason here.
  6. I'd give picks for him. It's worth the risk. But I wouldn't want a one year prove it deal, at least get him for 3 years so the dealt pick can be worthwhile. Hopefully he stays healthy. But it's basically selling out hoping we get one last shot at a super bowl. With the defense we have in place, we don't need to do any major rebuilding, just need a C, RT, and WR and we could absolutely contend every year. With our defense it feels like it would be worth it to sell out for another shot.
  7. It might just be crazy enough to work
  8. Didn't think devin smith would amount to much anyway. He wasn't fast or big enough to consistently do the only thing he did well
  9. Devin smith was never gonna pan out anyway
  10. Yeah I know he likes to stretch the field horizontal and vertical and last year was running more of treatmans system than anything. Hoping he caters to our strengths more this year
  11. Baltimoreravens.boardhost.com created by some of our posters here to keep our tight knit community together! Just posted a placeholder for a total AFC north in depth analysis thread and what all 4 teams look like heading into this season. Will post my analysis when I get off work. Let's get these new boards going!
  12. It's crazy, we had west coast receivers with cam and ran a coryell, we have coryell receivers now and run a west coast.
  13. Perriman wasn't our #2. Torrey became the #2 almost right away out of necessity. And he didn't have to grow into our super simplified coryell bombs away offense lol. Perrimans got a bigger learning curve and wasn't in football shape when he started, and also had Wallace Steve and pitta as he top targets ahead of him
  14. Tyus might be the smoothest athlete pound for pound in this class
  15. Yeah I decided to make Flex5 so the old users had an idea who I was. Decided that comprehensuv would probably confuse the hell out of people lol
  16. Zach Cunningham is a horrid tackler though. I didn't notice it until voch Lombardi pointed it out, it's hard to notice a guy leading the nation in tackles being a bad tackler, but he is. I don't want a LB in the afc north who doesn't follow through with tackles. When you need to cover leveon bell for about 15 routes a game twice a year you better not bring that deadweight-and-spin tackling technique. Bowser, for his shortcomings, wraps and scoops like textbook tackling should look

  18. I think we've just seen a resurgence since signing weddle, our safety play has been so much better that we notice the effects when before we just saw the safeties as liabilities
  19. The mods have stated that they don't endorse it because they don't wanna be associated with a fan made forum that isn't well established. Plus I think there are some threads out there. Theres a good number of users so far. Just come on over and spread the word
  20. Luckily for us, that has been our scheme ever since jimmy stepped up. Isolate jimmy and clutter everything away from him, tighten up windows and give safety help. Along with the occasional safety blitz/zone blitz/fire blitz
  21. I thought he could give bambam a run for his money as a SS lol
  22. Baltimoreravens.boardhost.com our own community made by some of our own posters.
  23. I'm certain it was 56 lol it was just San Jose state though, Wyoming and Houston he was absolutely dominant.
  24. If we run a gap scheme and slowly convert to a power scheme as guys like goose get acclimated to pulling and learn some better technique then it could work. But I'm just not sure he can acclimate. He doesn't seem to have that skillset to work in space
  25. As explosive and flexible as he is, his footwork isn't the greatest. He takes wide steps and has a tendency to lose balance and get heavy feet
