  1. Smh... stop reading ravens articles you wannabe
  2. He's also the only one whos had consistent postseason success despite having a weak offensive cast and horrible coordinating, while the others have had weapons flacco dreams of having yet they have fell short far more times than flacco has. Im a huge flacco fan and I'll admit he needs to get better. His inability to hit guys in stride and his tendency to lose all sense of mechanics is absolutely maddening. But look at what he did against Pitt, when it mattered, he won that game for us despite his guys on offense letting him down repeatedly with drops and failures to make routine sideline catches(cough pitta) and what happened? Our defense gave up a pathetic absurd drive to lose it. It's been a recurring theme for flaccos whole career. No qb has been let down by his team more than flacco has and the "fans" who watch this team week in and week out can't even see it. Does he need to get better? Absolutely, especially for what he's being paid, but his supporting cast on offense needs to improve ten fold of what flacco needs to improve.
  3. Jennings and sharpe, actual longtime NFL players and performed as some of the best in the league at their positions, and super bowl winners... all agreed
  4. http://m.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Late-For-Work-417-Joe-Flacco-Ranked-Top-First-Round-Quarterback-Of-Past-Decade/ac18f06d-f24b-40c2-aa84-72fcf066b5ea didnt think I'd get to use this link so soon, just found it today
  5. Harris is probably in my top 3 most watched prospects and the more I watched the less I liked.
  6. Yeah I didn't even notice the link but answered in the edit to my first post
  7. Never saw him as a first rounder. He is just so bad at disengaging, he is stiff(despite what some seem to be saying, I find it odd that everyone thought he was stiff a month ago and suddenly he isn't?) and as far as athleticism and motor is concerned there are other edge rushers just as good. And no he's not my least favorite, I'd be upset with cook/mcaffrey, peppers, Conley, Cunningham, bolles, and a lot of the other guys that could easily be considered second rounders, which is a category I think takk falls into, but of all those borderline guys takk would definitely be in the upper end of that category
  8. Who is available in this scenario? If we're talking pass rushers I'm taking Tim williams, reddick, and McDowell over takk. I'd take any of the 3 WRs over him, and I'd take Forrest lamp and possibly cam Robinson over him as well.
  9. I wouldn't be thrilled with takk at 16 but I'd be excited over the obvious upside and motor, we always do well with high motor players, motor is the prime reason(aside from jimmy and the safety tandem) that our defense was best in the league for a long stretch, players swarm to the ball and make booming gang tackles and are constantly flying around the field at full speed, takk fits that bill. But the real strength of this draft is everywhere else. Ozzie has been known to make a bad value pick early and make up for it with a strong day 2. Not to say takk is a bad pick but value wise I think it could be much better. Q in the second, Moreau and Stewart in the third, and elemeunor in the 5th would all be great pickups, and brown in the 4th is a good long term upside pick, he's a solid jump ball guy and doesn't show the deficiencies to suggest he can't develop a well rounded game to become a complementary guy. I think Stewart is gonna be a high end #2 for some team and will have a knack for big plays, I also think he looks the part of a return man and should do well there if given the spot. Id love this draft
  10. Speaking of guys ripping phone books.... First rounder right here
  11. I don't buy armstead anywhere in a 43. He can't penetrate the inside well and he doesn't eat space very well either. He can use his length as a 34DE and work those 1 on 1 matchups with the tackles but I just can't see him doing much else
  12. I wouldn't say there's anything wrong with liking Stanley over correa. It's much harder to find a stonewall LT than to find a quality press corner
  13. Comprehensuv indavisualz onlee
  14. Also says predictions, predictions gotta be in the realm of possibility lol
  15. Chill with that third one
  16. Myles Garrett will be far from the best defender in this class
  17. I feel it's kinda hypocritical for you to say that he edge rush class is so deep that guys like Derek rivers gets pushed to the fifth but then you have us take Jordan Willis in the first. Makes no sense tbh. You're saying a highly talented guy falls absurdly deep and a less talented guy goes way earlier than he should
  18. I would want watt at 16 if he was injury free, I've made it well known that I'm a watt fan. But ive also made it known that I'm a Tim williams fan. I actually only like Barnett slightly more than williams, but I think williams is gonna be a menace and his run defense is a lot better than given credit for. TBH I wouldn't bat an eye if we took williams at 16
  19. I've cooled on Harris as well. Also I've cooled on tj watt due to the injuries
  20. Not to mention his bend that is just not human like. His balance when he drops that shoulder and shortens those wide turns into the pocket are unreal, it may be the best bend I've ever seen from a college prospect, and best I've seen since Demarcus ware. His burst is ten times what upshaws was, he has an insane bend which upshaw has none of, his hands coming out are better than upshaws in year 4, his inside rush actually involves a setup and disengage, all upshaw did was bullrush, and he isn't the most explosive but he does have an extra gear to take advantage of the slightest opening which he does very consistently. How anyone could dislike Barnett is beyond me, I understand some want an athletic freak edge rusher, but bending and disengaging are hands down the most important aspects of pass rushing and Barnett crushes everyone in those categories.
  21. Upshaw to Barnett is the laziest comparison one could make, and it's only a comparison that goofy ravens fans make because one has no burst whatsoever and the other kinda lacks it and it's the only comp they can think of to fit their narrative If you can't see the very obvious differences between these 2 on tape then I got news for ya...
  22. I just feel he's got sooo much developing to do and his athleticism is not even close to being as impressive as your typical athletic and raw edge rusher. I don't see a first rounder in him at all regardless of scheme. And at this point I've sort of learned to disregard OLB or DE differences, we run so much 43 there's really no need for it
  23. The best kind of poop
  24. I'd poop if our draft turned out like this
  25. I've made peace with us taking taco and him being a total bust. I think it's inevitable
