  1. Chad Johnson was a very good athlete, not an elite one though, had good size, not great size though, and in his time he was unquestionably one of the best route runners in the league gaining separation at all levels with smooth and sharp routes, and won a lot of intermediate stuff with a blend of sharp cuts and quick acceleration, does alright with contested catches on occasion but doesn't shine in that regard. I'm not ready to call Davis a TO lookalike(/although I understand the comp) because you're talking about the 2nd most productive receiver of all time, too much lol. He had a ton of manufactured production against inferior competition where things like missed tackles happen A LOT more often, and a lot of his bubble screens were poorly defended in general with him having way more space than he should and getting open fields by default, so I won't put his YAC ability on that level yet.
  2. I'd like 4 butts and I cannot lie
  3. TBH I forgot about Dawkins on the first list. Both Dawkins and moton apply there, Dawkins being the priority of moton being the fallback.
  4. Q in the second would be a coup and I'd be stoked for that, so weird that it was out of the question until recently... and nothing even happened to knock him down.
  5. 1. Mike Williams 2. Tim Williams 3. Taylor moton and pat elflein or 1. Derek Barnett 2. Dan feeney 3. Akhello Witherspoon and dion Dawkins seeing dawkins in the third lately but I've always considered him a borderline 1st/2nd guy
  6. Absolutely. I'm not one to make light of a tragedy, but the self inflicted karma here is justice 1/3rd of the way served. I do feel terrible for that poor little girl though.
  7. He did but he was in training camp later on
  8. Chad Johnson thats my comp for Davis and I stand by it. Dont think he'll be as great as chad was for a stretch, but his play is reminiscent
  9. Not sure what makes you think that... he has been by no means a bust.
  10. Very meh
  11. That's what I've heard. Speculation and all but an interesting thought
  12. Maybe he didn't murder the 2 guys in the trial he was just acquitted in, but he killed odin Lloyd thinking he could be falsely convicted with his testimony... and maybe he realized he didn't have to murder Odin Lloyd and he would be just fine today had he not done that... and he felt so stupid that he just took a nap in a noose.
  13. McDowell would destroy our entire offensive game plan Malik hooker would give joe headaches fournette in Cleveland would spell trouble for anyone facing them. You can't beat a team who you can't stop the run against any of the 3 first round receivers in cinci would be disastrous for us.
  14. And the psychopath FB livestream killer offed himself as well. The world rid itself of 2 monsters today.
  15. Would be nice, but I'll have to counter that and say kaufusi barely sees the field, meanwhile Jonathan Bullard and Andrew billings look like steals who we passed on for kaufusi. I think kaufusi has a lotttt of work to do before he's an effective NFL player. Even camp reporters who overhype the hell out of everyone said kaufusi struggled to make any impact before the injury, which doesn't come as a surprise
  16. Mosley had a laundry list of injury concerns. Timmy Jernigan was rumored to be lazy and wouldnt stay in shape, also turned in a diluted drug test and wouldn't take a second one. Kindle himself had duis in college. Those are earlier though, after the ray rice debacle things have definitely changed.
  17. I like adoree Jackson but I would only take him if we traded back... twice. Say we moved back with a mid 20s team like the packers or cowboys, then again with NO or ATL, or even with the miners at 34, picking up something like 2 third rounders.
  18. I think giving Timmy a big deal would've been a mistake, even if he was the best damn DT in the league in 2017, Timmy strikes me as the type who will be the most frustrating person on the team for 3 years and then ball out in his contract year for more money, showing he always had the ability but only put it together when he wanted to get paid. and that's not a guy I want on my team. And if he DOESNT ball out in his contract year, then he's truly unable to stay consistent. It's a lose-lose to sign Jernigan. And keeping him here is a one year rental, something I'm definitely not fond of. If we aren't going to be winning it all this year with Timmy playing a major role, and he won't be back the following year, then get some compensation for him. This is the kind of move that makes bellichick a genius, but when we do it for a completely average player who produces more penalty yardage than he does sack/TFL yardage it's horrible? I don't get it. I liked Jernigan personally, but im not vastly overrating him like so many are. Based on the reactions I'd say Jernigan just may have been the most overrated Ravens defender
  19. I think it's unfair to him that he was used as a LB in a strictly attack role, he was given so little coverage snaps that it was a detriment to him. You can talk about what he did in college but the film shows a few things that translates to any position on the field: explosiveness and all around great athleticism, instinct and anticipation, and a swarming style and form tackling. i just truly think it's a stigma placed on him because of how he was used. For instance cravens was given plenty of coverage snaps and was used as a s/lb hybrid, so he made plays in coverage, peppers was blitzing and spying on screens in a large majority of his snaps, I just haven't seen anything to suggest he can't be a traditional strong safety, evidence of absence is not the absence of evidence, and his skill set is universal, which is why I think he's gonna succeed and doesn't have to be pigeonholed as a box safety
  20. I'd be happy with fournette at 16... ecstatic as a matter of fact, under one condition. We make a very honest effort to stack the offense around him and joe and don't run him into the ground before it's time to make a serious run at a ring. stop insisting that Alex Lewis is set in stone at LG and get a dominant man blocker, stop searching for zone blockers and stop trying to force the inside zone which is an extremely difficult scheme to execute. Start utilizing pull blocks and pre snap motions with our TEs and H-backs(something cam Cameron actually did well and created a lot of production in the power run game). If we got fournette at 16, first off, it's a total steal, but this team is not built right now to make a hefty investment in a workhorse RB, use a multi back system and don't force touches and destroy our prized back early in his career, once we beef up the front some more and maybe get a legit receiving threat, then we can start pounding the rock 25 times a game with fournette and another 10 times with Dixon.
  21. Would fall in line with the winning roster thing. Like the Texans. Wouldn't bat an eye if they mortgaged the future for a top qb
  22. And then Garrett gets hurt repeatedly and you have nothing to show for 3 high draft picks. What if we have another 5-11 season and pick top 10 or even top 5 next year? Bigger blunder. Never sell the farm to trade up unless you absolutely have a winning roster and you only need one player to get you over the hump.
  23. While I understand some folks not liking peppers, I don't quite get why people seem so confused as to where he plays. He looks 100% like a strong safety imo and I can't see him playing anywhere else. And I personally think he will be a very good SS.
  24. I actually think Stanley would handle Barnett quite well. I think Barnett is gonna be able to beat any tackle but I'm saying I don't think he will look bad against Barnett in relation to other good tackles.
  25. I think white is certainly the safest corner. You rarely see a cb prospect that makes you believe he is fail safe and will almost certainly produce a solid NFL starter, and white is that guy.
