  1. I was referring to you missing the point. You used a divisional matchup to declare the steelers better than the ravens, bold was pointing out why that is wrong, clearly something you missed. Apparently you also missed where the steelers struggled or failed to make the playoffs for years after paying Ben and their aging veterans. You probably also missed part where the same happened to us and we are suffering the same mediocrity as a result. Ya know, parity. And sure, downplay the value of making strong picks in the mid rounds, you're probably the same type to slam Ozzie for not finding Antonio brown in the 6th, solid assumption since you seem to baselessly slam Ozzie regardless. Bias and Hypocrisy is all this is.
  2. Scroll up
  3. Players of low value positions get paid because they are good, not because teams are eager to sign a check, listen to yourself... i am hyper focused on the ravens obviously but that doesn't mean anything, the ravens are very well known for finding a lot of undrafted gems, probably more than any team besides the pats. If you argue we are anything less than top 5 in undeafted gems you are kidding yourself. Same with mid round drafting.
  4. Oh I'm not saying that I don't think we need to address RT, just that we have consistently had guys step up out of nowhere and play solid enough for us, so if the FO is comfortable with Wesley and nembot then I will defer to them, however I couldn't get behind not addressing at least two out of: secondary, edge rush, and wr. That's one that we need to do something about because we haven't been able to produce home grown talent there
  5. So oz cant hit on a mid round pick? Did you watch us play in 2016? Tavon, Dixon, Judon, Lewis.. the best guard in the league was a 3rd round pick by Ozzie. The best NT in the league was a 3rd round pick by Ozzie, a 4th by Ozzie just about doubled the highest contract ever for a FB, there is plenty more on that list of ozzie mid round home runs. And if that's the case then how come not every team finds quality UDFAs? Prospects have to be sought out and actively pursued, these guys might have 1 or 2 teams calling them. The ravens are absolutely finding UDFAs not just waiting for them to come. What do you think they just walk into the castle and say "hey I'd like a contract here" and the FO rejoices at the opportunity? No lol
  6. It's not just this incident though, it's multiple concerns.
  7. Don't be matt Elam.
  8. A small incident wasn't enough for me, but with that, the drug test, and reports of his character I think is enough to push him down
  9. Lol
  10. I really don't see teams giving foster a pass with his multiple incidents. I won't speculate on how or why thee things happened, but they happened. He may be a great talent but he's still no kueckly or Willis for multiple reasons, and we're talking about a linebacker, not edge rusher or corner or WR or LT, he plays one of the least valued positions in football currently, whether you think that's illogical or not it's just the fact, teams are more focused on the pass rush and secondary and LBs tend to be one of the lowest considerations after those things. I think he really could fall to the second, Im thinking a playoff team takes him
  11. Seems to me only one person here dislikes Barnett, and all but like 2 or 3 more people have a straight up love affair with the guy.
  12. I see Timmy as a one year rental if he stays, that's all. I understand some wanna see his production this year, but if we aren't a super bowl caliber team then I'm not really interested when we can get a return for the guy. And I just don't think his production would've come close to putting us over the top. Any other year, I'd say whatever, but this draft, 25 spots in the third is huge. That could be the difference between landing a Tim williams and settling for an average player
  13. mine came with a pretty average amount of water and a lot of arizona green tea, which i have always drank a lot of. and it is quite the diuretic.
  14. i saw the full context of the conversation, still irrelevant. youre saying that ozzie who has found guys in mid rounds and in the UDFA pool that they are comfortable with stepping in, means he will be fired?
  15. Not sure how this is relevant to the subject at hand
  16. I've had a diluted urinalysis with just regular hydration and no tampering
  17. I don't see how KC is a spare. He probably would have been the 2nd ILB had zach Orr hadn't suddenly become a world beater. He might struggle to disengage in the pass rush but he still has a universal kind of skillset that lends itself well to playing ILB. Peanut looks more likely the spare imo. And the ravens supposedly like nembot and skura a lot. Whether or not that plays out is yet to be seen, but most didn't want zach Orr as the second ILB last year because he was nothing but a ST and reserves guy, pitta was a nobody while ed Dickson looked damn good in front of him for a while, Michael pierce had us comfortable enough to let Brandon williams test the market and he came out of nowhere. This kind of thing happens all the time, total no names put in work and develop really nicely and break out. Taking flyers on late round OL guys would obviously give us a better chance, but it's far from necessary
  18. Second round or second pick?
  19. Oh for sure, unless you're the cowboys raiders or browns then an OL upgrade will always be one of the best ways to improve the offense. But at 15, are there really options there at OL?
  20. Oh yeah we always seem to make one late summer signing that really helps us out throughout the season it seems. The difference between positions like cb/wr/edge and positions like RT/ILB/DT is our history at those positions. We have always done extremely well in all of those spots and have a surplus of guys who can potentially step in currently. We have almost nothing at edge currently and even less for the future, we have never done well with WRs and we have only one meaningful guy that is staying past this season, and we have always needed depth at cb and you can never have too many quality corners. Comparing these positions is just apples and oranges
  21. RT, ILB, and 3/5T are all positions where the ravens can and should feel comfortable with what they already have on the roster. You don't always need to draft a player to replace a departure. If you have young unproven guys in house already, then what's the difference between using those unprovens vs drafting another unproven? A potential waste of picks, that's the difference
  22. Colts still need a rb though. They've been squeezing every little bit of life out of frank gore that they can and to keep Andrew luck upright and to keep him from throwing picks they need to give him an easy outlet.
  23. Would love this draft and it's pretty realistic. Hits all the needs, good value, good players, hopefully something along these lines happens. What do you think of basham over bowser?
  24. I heard this as well. Apparently that's why he's not doing any private workouts for teams. I'm thinking saints or colts edit: Rossi pointed out the eagles which would make more sense than either of them.
  25. Jordan Willis in the third?... sami has been summoned. It's just a matter of time
