  1. agreed, barkley looks incredible, he looks like a far more powerful shady mccoy. i almost hope we have a down year just so we can draft him, and hopefully the coaching staff and FO stay together and we take barkley and dominate with the run game for the next 5 years
  2. tim williams strikes me as a decent guy with a good head on his shoulders actually. he doesnt interview very well but he comes off as sincere and genuine. hes one of those guys that i think will be fine after a change of scenery. and this is a 180 im doing on him as well, because when i heard about the gun incident i wrote him off completely, i thought he was another rolando mcclain, but after seeing interviews of him i changed my tune.
  3. i am a BPA guy but i dont like to ignore needs either, also if we go strictly BPA for a full mock then i have to mock every pick for every team and stick to a board lol. ravens also like to balance bpa and need, if they get an absurd value they will abandon need completely, but if 2 guys are relatively close in value theyll opt for the need more often than not, the 2014 draft is a prime example of that. so im just taking our needs and saying "if this guy is here as expected based on projections, then the value and need will both be great on the ravens board". im starting to not like foster. was able to let things slide, i figured maybe things were really bothering him with the combine incident, maybe the rumors about his attitude and partying are overblown because hes a young punk in college, but then after all these things you hear that in the most crucial time of his life he is quite possibly taking some kind of drugs and tampering with his urinalysis, everything starts to come together and it looks bad. the shoulder and the concussions make him a non option for me at 16, and i have a strong feeling the ravens feel the same. if he were to fall to 47 its a different story.
  4. I don't think he makes it past the bengals saints and colts. And I also don't think Corey Davis is nearly as unanimously loved by pro scouts as he is by fans, I'm thinking there are a few specific teams who really like him and the rest are low on him. And I think the ravens are in the former group
  5. I think a hybrid style safety is also in the mix for Miami, melifonwu peppers and baker all crossed my mind for their pick, but I think they go with a real LB instead. I think Cunningham is a pretty underrated guy and I feel like NFL team will like his range and length and iq
  6. I prefer mike will myself but he goes to buffalo here and I just don't see him being available, meanwhile I have this strong feeling that decosta is all smokescreen about Davis
  7. He hung himself with a bed sheet bye bye you psychopath gangbanging piece of garbage
  8. I think Cunningham is the better player and the better fit. The dolphins have a real good front but they need a sideline to sideline LB, and I like his ability to man up to a guy like gronk twice a year and be a headache against the short and intermediate game of the pats, who are clearly their toughest obstacle.
  9. Is litty Malik hooker? Heres the thing... I don't do mock drafts to try to land the guy I like most, I try to be as realistic as possible for all teams. I am 100% certain the ravens aren't trading up to 6 to take Malik hooker, so why the hell would I mock that?
  10. Then nobody should ever do mock drafts I guess
  11. Glad I'm not the only one. After I realized I forgot about him, I decided he'll go to the cowboys, but then I looked back to find a fit, and all i could really consider was either philly or detroit, and they already both had better options there We'll see bisnowaty is a guy who was probably a 3rd rounder at worst if he was able to play healthy the past 2 years, and before guys like moton and Dawkins and what not started rising, he was a guy who was often in that day 2 circle, so I was familiar before, and noticed that his stock just plummeted since then. I like elflein a lot and always have, I don't get why he's fallen
  12. I agree, I like Anderson but he's really just a sound motor player, he doesn't jump out as a pro prospect imo, I think he's gonna find a place in the league and be solid, but he isn't what we need, we need a difference maker, a guy like Barnett, watt, williams, or even a guy like Derek rivers who I think is gonna be a steal for some team
  13. He'll add bend and general competence. ZDS won't see a second contract with this team and may not see a second contract at all. He is incredibly incompetent at the pro level
  14. As a former party person, all it takes is a little pay raise and the wrong friends for partying to spiral completely out of control. This is an issue with all college kids, but if a player is showing temperament issues, POTENTIAL(key word) drug issues, and is rumored to be a party boy and is surrounded by the wrong crowd, it's definitely s cause for concern
  15. You once again miss the point of the point you initially brought up...
  16. I was referring to you missing the point. You used a divisional matchup to declare the steelers better than the ravens, bold was pointing out why that is wrong, clearly something you missed. Apparently you also missed where the steelers struggled or failed to make the playoffs for years after paying Ben and their aging veterans. You probably also missed part where the same happened to us and we are suffering the same mediocrity as a result. Ya know, parity. And sure, downplay the value of making strong picks in the mid rounds, you're probably the same type to slam Ozzie for not finding Antonio brown in the 6th, solid assumption since you seem to baselessly slam Ozzie regardless. Bias and Hypocrisy is all this is.
  17. Scroll up
  18. Players of low value positions get paid because they are good, not because teams are eager to sign a check, listen to yourself... i am hyper focused on the ravens obviously but that doesn't mean anything, the ravens are very well known for finding a lot of undrafted gems, probably more than any team besides the pats. If you argue we are anything less than top 5 in undeafted gems you are kidding yourself. Same with mid round drafting.
  19. Oh I'm not saying that I don't think we need to address RT, just that we have consistently had guys step up out of nowhere and play solid enough for us, so if the FO is comfortable with Wesley and nembot then I will defer to them, however I couldn't get behind not addressing at least two out of: secondary, edge rush, and wr. That's one that we need to do something about because we haven't been able to produce home grown talent there
  20. So oz cant hit on a mid round pick? Did you watch us play in 2016? Tavon, Dixon, Judon, Lewis.. the best guard in the league was a 3rd round pick by Ozzie. The best NT in the league was a 3rd round pick by Ozzie, a 4th by Ozzie just about doubled the highest contract ever for a FB, there is plenty more on that list of ozzie mid round home runs. And if that's the case then how come not every team finds quality UDFAs? Prospects have to be sought out and actively pursued, these guys might have 1 or 2 teams calling them. The ravens are absolutely finding UDFAs not just waiting for them to come. What do you think they just walk into the castle and say "hey I'd like a contract here" and the FO rejoices at the opportunity? No lol
  21. It's not just this incident though, it's multiple concerns.
  22. Don't be matt Elam.
  23. A small incident wasn't enough for me, but with that, the drug test, and reports of his character I think is enough to push him down
