  1. I've been warming up to takk McKinley after watching more film. I love the way he just takes blockers on a ride against their will, like he just kidnaps dudes and says "you're coming with me boi" and drags them to the backfield. And he breaks free from blocks without even using any disengage tactics, he just violently shoves dudes off of him. I would really have to hope that Suggs teaches this young man everything he can, he seems like a bright young man and obviously a workaholic, nobody with that effort level is gonna be slacking at any point. And the way he closes in and eats up ground is just amazing. It's also loads of fun to watch him get turned around by blockers and see him recklessly flail to get squared back up without losing ground. When he got spun around against ASU and he just blindly leaped in the air with the slim hope that he could bat a pass I just laughed... hopefully he can harness that desire and turn it into something a little more thoughtful lol. With the likely bs rumors of takk being high on our board I can't say I'd be too disappointed after a second and third thought
  2. His rationale is "the ravens get their replacement for Timmy Jernigan" his rationale is always so lazy, I used to respect his analysis til this year. It's always "X team gets their Y" then rattles off a bunch of basic stats. Before he got stuck on wormley he was stuck on kamara and foreman and Royce freeman before he opted to return to school, and his rationale was "the ravens could use more talent at running back. _____ ran for X yards and Y touchdowns in 2016" word for word every week and he would just rotate different running backs at the pick. He's been garbage this year
  3. Plus stickers!
  4. Mike will and John Ross combined would basically be Odell Beckham lol
  5. Am I the only one who wants to punch Charlie Campbell? He is changing around every teams mocks but he has been dead set on us taking cam Robinson and Chris wormley for weeks. I'd call for ozzies resignation if that was our first 2 rounds
  6. No, they'll spew cancer and aids on the ravens FB and twitter page, and talk about "now that we've gotten 2 rings out of flacco it's time to move on! Let's not have another 2013 disaster! And Ozzie can go too because he still hasn't brought back boldin!"
  7. Oh I wasn't calling him a run first qb, or at least I didn't mean to lol. I was more referring to his style of running as a qb, rather than buying time to make downfield throws and avoiding pressure, he's more likely to take off running and putting himself at exposure to injury
  8. With that line and power run game to lean on, mariota just needs to be more opportunistic and less aggressive. Don't run as a first option, take the run when there's an opening, and scramble to let receivers get open rather than scramble for a run. If he adjusts to be a legit NFL scrambler rather than a running qb than they could dominate. Oj Howard would be a devastating addition that would make their offense really hard to game plan against.
  9. I'm more and more vehemently against an OL at 16. Trade back, sure, but the value of either lamp or cam is god awful at 16 and we need to get more day 2 picks to justify the value, when you have the likes of dion Dawkins in round 2 who I think is far and away a better RT prospect than either of the first rounders, and pat elflein who is a great center prospect filling a bigger need, then I just don't see why we take either of those guys when we could get a Davis or Humphrey or reddick or Barnett to really make a splash. If we trade back and land lamp or cam, then we can seal the deal for elflein with an additional round 2 pick which is ultimately what we need more than either of those 2, while also picking up a guy like Tim Williams, Lawson, Witherspoon, or if we're feeling spunky and he's available, Sidney jones, plus you have the small school guys like bowser and rivers who would be great fits for us at 47. I would be ecstatic to see us pass on either of the first round guards for a guy like Corey Davis, and get dion dawkins at 47 and if we're lucky land pat elflein in the third. That's an immediate and massive offensive overhaul that instantly fills every offensive hole with a day one starter. I don't see anywhere near the same game changing draft plans that could start out with lamp or cam in round one, it just doesn't add up
  10. Would've made this same pick if I picked for the colts
  11. Being a pothead, being a drinker, getting in a fight or 2, having an attitude, etc. can be excused and can often be fixed in the right environment. Poor judgement, poor character, and bad decision making, cannot be excused or fixed. At least in my opinion. We've seen guys like Brandon Marshall do a complete 180, but it's rare for someone who repeatedly gets in trouble in multiple ways to just suddenly become a model citizen. When you have a large sample size showing a distinct pattern, it usually means something
  12. With the 45th pick, the cardinals select Carl Lawson, edge, auburn
  13. you think getting lost in space is a bigger issue for a guard than a tackle? well i wont try to figure out your train of thought on that one... and getting push in the run game is a bad thing? again...
  14. Well... yeah. Lol, they're the browns. The titans have done well though, I thought trading away DGB was a bad idea, he has enormous potential and appears to have his head in straight and they could use some wr help. They've drafted well recently, if Kevin Dodd develops into half of his potential then they got a good value, Conklin is elite and he and Lewan give them their identity on offense. Derrick Henry would probably be a bad pick on any team except for the titans, he can play well in that downhill power scheme. If they get OJ Howard and a good wr and cb in the mid first and third rounds then they are on their way to something big
  15. man if the browns get desperate and the titans bring in another boatload of picks, they are gonna end up winning a super bowl soon. you can only draft so many players in the top 100 back to back before you suddenly have a stupidly talented roster. they really lucked out by sitting #2 last year despite having a franchise qb.
  16. patiently waiting for this ozzie bash to turn into a flacco bash
  17. his kickstep is the weakest part of his game, he totally misses on his kickstep at times and takes very shallow drops and gets toasted around the edge, its legit the biggest knock on cam
  18. Wut
  19. Well cam seems like possibly the most typical Ozzie pick ever. And picking him over guys like Corey Davis is also typical. I mean he would've taken Mosley over beckham... why wouldn't he take cam over Davis lol
  20. During the season, rookies master the playbook, during TC and minicamps is when rookies get that close 1on1 time with coaches and vets to learn NFL technique. Having the free time for a coach to drill into a players head after every single snap is valuable. also The difference between football shape and rehab shape is also a big deal, you got no muscle memory and less explosion and flexibility when your body is used to the weight room rather than the field
  21. This is my only issue with cam. He's an elite guard prospect and a very risky tackle prospect. If our FO went ahead and said Alex Lewis is in heavy consideration for RT rather than playing up his "potential" as a guard and only speaking of him as a RT in a "if we HAVE to" sense, then I'd be on board with cam. He is a game changer at guard, he plows holes wide open in the run game and his kickstep is hidden while he gets to use his anchor often, as a tackle all of his deficiencies get put under a spotlight so all the defenders can see them and exploit them.
  22. Tbf Alabama doesn't seem to coach linemen well. When is the last time a quality G or T has come out of Alabama? Wouldn't exactly hold the program in high regards there
  23. Both. I don't dislike either of them but I hate both of them at 16. The value simply isn't there, there are bound to be better players available. I just really hate the idea of Corey Davis or haason reddick or marlon Humphrey becoming an elite player at positions we have needed for so long, meanwhile we take high risk players who have strong potential to bust
  24. Law of averages. One of them have to be decent characters right?
  25. Perhaps Gareon Conley or marshon lattimore?
