I heard he'll be traded or released? I didn't hear that he would only leave HOU under a trade.
I can see Andre go to a team like the Patriots, though. They could certainly use him and he would fit in well there and have a chance to win a Super Bowl without a question.
from what I read he has been granted permission to seek a trade.
haven't read he might get released though.
if he gets released I think he might end up in Denver with kubiak
AJ comes with a 10.5 mil salary and can only be gained by trade.
he is pretty old.
I don't see it being realistic tbh lol
after draft if we have a hole they might be options.
peyton is potentially still out there.
would make a nice back up.
Blackmon lol.
dude is a walking suspension...
also aldon smith really???
people think this is fantasy football or madden lol
Whos_Up_Next, on 24 Feb 2015 - 02:38 AM, said:I think the Ravens still believe in Brown. They did trade up for him and he was considered to be on of the top LBs in the draft class. I think Smith and Brown will split time in the 3-4 with Brown playing more on 3rd down and Smith on 1st and 2nd.
yeah it will all depend on how effective smith will look in coverage or if pees will blitz more.
if we have a healthy secondary we could see brown role increase.
he was pretty good blitzing in his rookie season.
Charles Tillman is definitely a guy I think would be a good fit here. I also like Brandon Harris, another former draft bust who could turn around his career in Baltimore. He showed promise in very limited action in Tennessee. I also like Davon House, who never really got much of a shot in Green Bay. He's one of those guys Ozzie would manage to sign for cheap and who could do well here.
tillman could be interesting if he can play in the slot.
not sure if he still got what it takes to be on the outside.
1 thing he would bring is turnovers though.
defense could really need more of those.
soooo apparently cobb is looking for 9 mil a year lol
rice was 1 of the top back in the nfl pretty much every season except his rookie season and 2013 lol.
he was among the best in yards from scrimmage due to him being able to run and catch the ball.
you could argue he was more of an all round back then AP since AP was pretty much a non factor in the passing game.
also for him to be slowing down im not sure.
he got injured early in the season and we all know how terrible the o-line was or is that only a excuse for flacco lol
his best chance is to become part of the rotation @ ILB.
probably on passing down when smith starts to slow down in pass coverage or on inside blitzes.
brown would be a terrible olb in our current scheme cause he aint a natural pass rusher.
if he wants to become one I guess dumerville is the 1 who he should alter his game around but I don't see it happening.
right now he is insurance for mosley and daryl.
BTW he played pretty well in his rookie season so he can play though.
its just smith and mosley are better with smith relying a lot on his veteran instinct.
people just need to accept these guys where 3 down lbers who where healthy so no reason to sub them out or to activate brown.
RaineV1, on 06 Feb 2015 - 9:23 PM, said:I doubt he would mainly be blocking here. The Ravens certainly haven't keep Pitta and Owen Daniels around for their blocking ability.
his best attribute is his blocking ability.
neither could be said about pitta or daniels but that's why we had Gilmore subbed in or Dickson or bajema in the past.
ravens do run the ball and most of the time when they run in there is a TE or 2 in the line up.
he would get his targets here as a receiver but he will probably block more then be on the end of the catch.
Purple_City39, on 06 Feb 2015 - 9:50 PM, said:Don't be too sure. Trestman has a history of passing a good amount more than running.
Besides, if Davis comes here he'll be a receiving option. Daniels may not be resigned and Pitta has already dislocated his hip twice, once without contact, so he can't be relied on too heavily. That just leaves Gilmore, who I like a lot
well if trestman goes pass happy I guess harbaugh lied when he said he wanted to carry on from where kubiak left off.
I never said he wont be a receiving option.
if davis comes here he would be an every down TE like he was in San fran which would involved more blocking then actually getting targets.
if like you said he wants to be more of a receiver then he is better off with a team who likes to way pass more then they run.
vernon is the best TE,but his numbers have declined. He will not be going any where he thinks he will not be used
Well here he would be blocking more then being a receiver though.
we aren't a pass happy team and I doubt we will ever become 1.
IMO chris culliver and vernon davis are the cheapest/best players we can get
based on?
davis will probably be the best TE in FA if he gets cut.
I doubt he will come cheap unless he is willing to take less to be here.
culliver maybe although there should be a market for him as well.
Brooks has shown he is the most talented player besides Hill for our safeties and has made plays in his rookie year. He is just very raw and seems to be in the "dog house". Gino hasnt shown anything.
brooks is coming back from an injury.......
I didnt consider that, but great point.
If Rice had played in the same offense he's describing there, but in today's NFL he probably would have loved it. With all the protection afforded to offensive players he would have had the catches, not taken the beating, and probably added a ton of YAC to that total and his opinion would have been "Man I love this offense. I got my same amount of touches and yards but didnt have to do all that hard work and run all those deep routes."
yeah In those days you could mug wrs to ways the hawks would be jealous off and there was no such thing as a defenseless receiver lol.
he would have been very happy cause he would be less fatique not running down the field the entire time and he would probably spicy up his catch and yards totals even more.
he would have drawn a lot of flags as well .
also tbh he sounded more like a diva thinking about himself instead of the team anyways so I would not put much into it if we are going by the team concept.
id actually see a guy like steve smith loving this not to mention campanaro as well.
Not exactly a ringing endorsement from the G.O.A.T.
Though this was nearly 20 years ago, so maybe Trestman's learned from this.
And Trestman has gone on record that we will be running Kubiak's scheme, which he will learn so he can call plays from it.
If he can manage to do that, then the transition from Kubiak to Trestman should be relatively seamless (and painless) and the offense should once again be in the top 10 or better.
guess rice rather had cam Cameron then trestman lol.
and well 20 years ago no receiver wanted to go over the middle because defenses where allowed to hit.
today its tag football so wrs aren't scared anymore so we good lol
I was thinking this guy name peyton manning may be coming available soon and we could get him for the veteran minimum.
hmmm we could carry him to a SB if he gets us to the play offs if joe goes down lol.
could get that 2nd SB as a back up lololololol
we can always give trent dilfer a call if we need to ....
so you guys are already done with campanaro?
cobb plays from the slot not on the outside.
we would still need to get an outside receiver then to be the deep treath.
doubt Denver lets him walk and doubt we can outbid any team nor that we can make an offer he would consider.
would make an excellent QB coach or OC if kubiak goes.
his pursuit to the ball seems to be better then before.
I saw him actually move through traffic to get a good angle instead of running around players.
so what exactly is his offense???
he did something to janay palmer???
maybe its to early but i got no idea what he did other then its something sexual i think ....
next season is makeor break.
lil bit early still.
have any safety cover slot receivers and they will struggle.
dude was covering hawkins lol

based on what do people even think harvin is an upgrade over torrey or jacoby?
in madden maybe but in real life he is a locker room cancer with little production who is 1 hit away from missing games....
6 seasons he never played all games and his best season was in 2011 lol.
its 2015 now....
