im wondering but you guys do realise the defense forced a punt after that failed 4th down attempt right? so they actually did what was expected from them and came through after the offense failed. im not sure what more did you guys really expected from them in that situation. giants punted then flacco threw the bomb to wallace and tucker kicked the FG to give us the lead. what exactly did the defense do wrong in that situation?

was talking about the offense not being able to score TDs in the redzone in general which as i said is the real issue. some took that and ran with this 4th down call cause you know it deflects from the real issue which clearly has not been the defense this season....

care to back this up?

yawn. im asking people to leave the defense out of this. its a thread about the offense and they where expected to punch it in from the 1 yard line. no need to drag the defense into this......

the ravens are spending more on offense then they are on defense (62 mil compared to 54 mil) and they have invested some high picks on the offense as well lately. they are actually trying to build the offense around our high priced QB. so forgive me if i expect them to be at least on pair with the defense. id be fine to put everything on the defense if we go back to drafting all defense and spending most of our cap their. lets not forget that the rules now a days favor the offense more then the defense. quite honestly we should be having a better offense then defense TBH i wanted to trade up for marcus peters and i wanted to trade up for ramsey BTW. have we done that and ignored the offense like we used to do back in the days , you would not hear me talk if the defense sucked again....

dont think its fair to blame the defense when the offense cant even pick up 1 yard which is why i asked to keep them out of this...

the post i replied to had you talking about penalties alone which is what i addressed.

im holding the offense to the same expectations as the defense. if 1 can suck all the time then the other should be allowed that same privilege.

they dont want to see it lol. apparently the offense was perfect outside of the penalties called i guess. i mean i saw juice missing a block on that 4th and 1 or hurst blocking nobody on an all out blitz or flacco throwing it to god knows who trying to throw a pass away to the middle of the field or receivers dropping catchable balls and such...

seems like a cop out to blame penalties alone tbh. players where missing blocks , dropping good thrown passes , bad passes where thrown and such, i saw more then penalties being the issue. not sure what makes you think that the offense was perfect besides the penalties.....

we had 1 good drive which was the very first 1. not sure what other drives you are referring to.

you act like we are a good red zone team. not to mention even with out penalties we manage to go 3 and out or turn the ball over in ways only we can think off. heck we can be on the 1 yard line and fail to come away with any points. based on what can you guaranteed that this offense can go on long drives and score TDs relying on themselves?

the ravens had 15 penalties for 111 yards while the giants had 7 penalties for 119 yards. id say they have a lot more to complain about with some questionable calls going against them and others not being called in their favor.... saw wright tackling the WR in the endzone before either touched the ball lol.

To early to tell but the more games Stanley will be missing the more ill be leaning towards making the trade.....

if you consider that the offense might fail why arent you considering that the defense might fail as well? i mean with davis and young left as your starters going against 1 of the NFL elite receivers in OBJ , those thoughts should cross you mind as well. unless ofcourse you set extremely low expectations for the offense and unreasonable high expectations for the defense...... its not an entire new scheme lol. we ran pretty similar things in trestman last game against the skins with similar succes. his fault was not sticking with it. you are sadly mistaken if you think they started from scratch after trestman got fired.

we have been a terrible redzone offense since forever tbh.

the assumption should be that the offense scores. counting on the defense after expecting the offense to fail should tell you to take the points TBH.
