  1. they will want a playmaker at 6. if bosa slips to 3, they will try and trade up. they tried to trade up for khalil mack two years ago. otherwise, see it very hard for them to pass up treadwell at 6. the need at wr is the same if not more than any secondary addition. he is a ravens type player and they are one year away from having perriman and aiken as WR1 and WR2. can't forgot about how much they like will davis at the other corner spot as well. think they will feel better about grabbing treadwell and then a corner/pass rusher they like at the top of round 2 if bosa doesn't happen. drafting a tackle at 6 doesn't make sense given monroe is still on the roster. if they cut him for any reason, it would be because they want osemele as their long term left tackle.
  2. Agree to disagree. Mosley is a top 15 player in this draft. Safeties may fall a tiny bit considering how teams attacked the position yesterday, but still would be viable options at 17. Beckham would be better option at 17 than Lee if looking receiver. If we don't resign Daryl Smith, fail to sign a safety, but come away with Steve Smith, can be sure the focus will be on Mosley, Pryor, and Clinton-Dix.
  3. if steve smith is released, signing him would create a nice scenario. can't count on a rookie receiver to come in and have an impact right off the bat, and smith would allow a draft pick time to develop and eventually fill-in once he retires. he would be a nice stop gap for two years, and would provide flexibility if they wanted to focus on a mosley at lb or pryor or clinton-dix at safety in round 1. signing smith would make him and t. smith the first two receivers on the field, allowing us to go receiver in rounds 2-3 given the solid depth at the position. ravens would be looking at smith as a proven commodity that fits their style, while not blocking the way for a potential high round draft pick in the future.
  4. t. smith and m. brown work best outside the numbers. last season, had too many split-flanker types and not one dependable slot guy, which is why brown had to shift inside. pitta is a flexed TE, need a shifty athletic type to work the middle of the field and get YAC.
