  1. Seems like Joe has lost his focus to me. The look on his face while he is on the sideline is not one of a QB that wants to win. Joe seems to be more into his role as a family man and a father now to me. That is a good thing and I admire him for that. However, when you go to work you still strive to excel at that job and I am not seeing that from Joe any longer. He is most definitely not "playing like a Raven". We do need to look for his successor and the time to do that is now.

  2. What is it with these former EAGLE coaches that has them always wanting to be tied in with each other no matter what team they may be working for? They seem to flock together and the end result is the same as it was in Phila. Kind of feel for the Bills fans now. Looks like they will be definitely going down hill for a while now. Getting rid of Castillo is worth it though. Now we need to find another quality Secondary coach. Sure hope that a few of those pathetic DB's go north to Buffalo too. Here we go again, hoping to see improvement and having to listen to all the hype about how good this team will be in 2017. Gets old each year especially when the team can't measure up once the season begins. Way to many softies on the team and they need to go. Maybe Steve B has put certain people on notice. Time will tell.

  3. This all sounds like Political Correct bull to me. Fix the damn problems once and for all. This town does not accept losers plain and simple. If people need to go then they should. Do your job well and keep it just like out there in the real world. Avg. ticket price $112.11 per game for an average team if that can be what a fan sees each weekend. The way that the team plays in the last 15 minutes should dictate a rebate for all who pay to see this week in and week out. Harbaugh should be a politician with all of the bull he is peddling.

  4. A lot of talk here on DB's and it is certainly justified. Our so-called best guy back there is Jimmy Smith and he seems to spend more time off of the filed injured than he does on it at any given time. Looking deeper, there is no depth. The D cannot protect any lead with these pickup DB's that have failed every where else they have been. To me they are the most frustrating element on the team. week in and week out thy let the game get away. Next year will more than likely be more of the same as I see it. Until some major changes are made in the front office and the coaching staff, we will continue to sign these bargain basement players that are just incapable of pro level play back there. Looking forward to see what occurs in FLA at Steve B's house this week.

  5. Bengals will continue to wail on the RAVENS. That is until coaching changes are made. Roster is full of no-loads that have no problem sitting out for any old reason that may cause them some discomfort. These guys are not PRO football players. Castle is now a resort for any player that claims that he wants to be a RAVEN. Who needs SANDALS in the Caribbean. Just sign on to become a Baltimore Raven. Vacation is endless.

  6. Well, we know how next season is going to be now. I said 9-7 for this season and missed by one game. They were worse. Never would have though that. Nothing is going to change until Steve B calls the head coach in and lays him out for his inability to get the right people on his staff. This PHILLY discard crap is killing this team and the fans are seeing it now and are not happy. PURPLE REIGN my butt! This group is self destructive and proves it week in and week out. Sad to see this happening. But cronyism is alive and doing well at the Castle until HARBS gets the boot. Hopefully, next year he hits the pavement along with all of his buddies that suck at their jobs. Over and out. This fan is gone.

  7. Way to many players that seem to be hurt time and again. It almost appears to be an epidemic now each week. Life at the CASTLE must be pretty cushy for a lot of these guys. No wonder players want to come here. The team needs to get back to fundamental football and sign players that want to play not just wear the uniform. Fans deserve more than this from their players and their coaches. If Steve B allows another year of this crap to go on, then he is also part of the problem. Like they say, "If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem".

  8. Just thinking of how stubborn Harbaugh can be and you can bet that he will stand behind keeping Marty and Dean as his coordinators. It will be interesting to see what really goes down next week at the State of The Ravens meeting with Steve B. I would think that he is not going to be receptive to sitting pat on the present coaching staff. We need to jettison some players that cannot step their game up too. We all know who they are. I am losing my faith in Joe Cool too. He just seems so disinterested in the games now. No fire and after all, he has the SB ring, the money and many team records. Time to begin planning on his replacement and drafting for the future QB of this team.

  9. Right! We stay with both the OC and the DC and Harbs keeps his job. The Purple Kool-Aid is flowing at the castle. Harbs may stay, but the other two are on the hot seat and next week will shed some light on where this team is headed.
Either way, this is not the RAVENS that we are all accustomed to seeing on the field each week. No focus, lack of ability in many players that just can't step up and those ex eagle coaches that are not RAVEN caliber coaches. Fans are not going to sit still and buy into another year of this kind of ho-hum football.

  10. Play for "CHARACTER" That just about takes it all. Play like crap in the last quarter all season and then make that statement about the last game. The whole damned team is in denial. Harbs talks Politically Correct crap after each game and talks about how good the team played even though they crashed and lost the ones that they should never had lost a lead in. The "castle" is not a training facility any longer. It has turned into Camelot for many of these guys and they know it. Time for a massive purge including those under achieving coaches that Harbs has gathered. How much longer are we going to be subjected to this sorry effort? Harbaugh looks disgusted on the sideline each week now, but when he gets to a camera after the game he is full of praise. What kind of message is that ?

  11. One other point. The Ravens lack a leader in the Locker Room. Since Ray has left Harbs has made it quite clear that he does not want that scenario in the scheme of things any longer. It is HARBS team now and the blame stands directly on his shoulders when things go south. The tam does not have the discipline, the fire, the focus and the killer instinct that is needed to go far into the post season. Until they get those elements back, they will struggle each year as they have for the past 4-5.

  12. The team has been so inconsistent this season that it is hard for me to envision the RAVENS having an easy time moving through the Playoffs against Miami and Oakland. They are not the same team week in and week out. There are way to many variables that come into play each week during the second half that seems to keep us from getting the win when we should be able to hold onto the lead. That needs attention. As for looking ahead to next season and seeing a better team, there is going to be a need for some defensive changes especially in the Secondary area. Coaching staff issues and clock management are another factor that needs to be looked into and changed. Many fans are calling for blowing up the whole team and going into a rebuild scenario. I don't think that we need to do that quite yet, but some major changes are needed to improve the overall effort and game outcome for next season. No one seems to hit on the fact that our Scouting Dept. is not getting the job done as it has in the past. We lost a lot of talent in that are through the years and now we are paying for it in the drafts each year. Blame Ozzie all you want, but it is those guys out there evaluating college talent that really have an impact on the future of the team. It appears that the Steelers and the Patriots have the right people doing that job year in and year out. They always have the right guy to step up when injuries to key players occur.

  13. Losing the last game to be better situated in the draft makes more sense than winning a meaningless game. Playing for pride and for the Raven's Nation does little to improve the team and it's future needs. At this point the season is over.
Time to focus on cuts, free agency and team draft needs. The one thing that we can count is that there will be some coaching changes after such a disappointing season.

  14. Eliminated, Self destruction. Have watched this all season long. Had these guys down by 10 and still we soften up and let them catchup and take the game and the division. No excuses for it. Time for some house cleaning . Steve B needs to mandate some big coaching changes, Secondary needs some talent now and that is where the focus should be in the Spring. Have to say that Joe played a good game, but the D let the Ravens Nation down again. Have to agree that Pees and Morningwegh need to go. Same old stale game plans

  15. Were going to have to put up a lot of points because our secondary is going to get destroyed. No need for them to force the run when they can spread us out an win against our man or zone coverage. We just don't have enough quality corners. I've been saying this for years, it's so hard to watch..smh

Got to agree with you Ballsohard. The main fear I have is that secondary getting torched all day long. Of course Joe will throw in a few INT's or fumbles. I sure hope that I am wrong on both issues. But, this season has been anything but one to keep you thinking positive with this team.

  16. It's time for EVERY player to step up his game this Sunday. No more talk, just action and smart football. We have heard enough of Flacco and his ho-hum jargon after he plays a so-so game. Time to put YOUR head into the games and show up as the Flacco we expect to see on the field. You got your money up front, now do the right thing and prove that you are worth the price. This is supposedly the time of year that you shine, so DO IT. Otherwise, can the blasé rhetoric when the game and the season is over. So far the real star is Tucker and we can count on him week in and week out.

  17. Here is a breakdown for you. Take a look at the names of the coaches that Harbaugh has managed to hire to his coaching staff. Names that he was very familiar with while he was Special Teams coach up in Phila. To date they have not shown any long term improvement to the team. Looking back now, one can see that they may have actually taken the team a bit backwards. As I see it, I now know where South Philly is. Right here in good old B-more. Time to get out the broom Steve.

  18. Still sticking with my original prediction for the season. 9-7. Split the next two games at best. Cannot see it any other way right now with the type of play that we see each week. A disappointing season to say the least. The team needs a leader and that has been evident since the retirement of Ray Lewis. That is on Harbs who has to have full control of he Locker room.
