  1. The O-Line needs to step up now. Joe needs a little more time back there in order for things to set up. If we can't give him that time it will be a long and disappointing season for the fans and the team.
  2. Sure did not expect this one. I was worried about Flacco getting injured and this one blindsided me. A shame for Sizzle to have to go through this again and miss the entire season this time. Going to be a rough season this year.
  3. Did Billy Murphy (Lawyer) have something to do with this? we cut a player with ability to sign with very little. What the heck?
  4. Looking forward to see what the RAVENS really have this year, The schedule is not going to be kind, but we should be OK if we can stay healthy into the last quarter of the season. As for the Steeler Pats game tonight, have to pull for the Steelers. I am sick of hearing about the most corrupt team in the leagues and their cheating coach. Now when I see Bob Kraft, I see another example of whatever it takes to win. One would think by now that Kraft would have some heads rolling over all of the negative press that his team seems to get. The Pat organization is an underhanded rule breaking bunch that will stoop to any level and that is fine with them as long as they get their way when it all shakes out. I would love to see us get them in the post season and take them down .
  5. I have to go with BIO on his view. Far to many question marks as we head into the season. A lot of concerns with who is hurt ands who will actually be in the lineup Want the Broncos to go down in a big way though. Cant stand Elway and never could. Manning is a bit overrated at this point in his career too. Take them out and do it fast
  6. Matt Schaub? Definitely a big question mark so far. I sure hope that if it comes to it he can do better with the starters. Last night he looked horrendous.
  7. Officiating was again a joke. If this is what we are going to see through the season, then it is going to be a long disheartening one. It appears that they will not let the players play football as it should be played. Nitpicking calls are going to ruin the NFL if they do not get control of it right now. I can see the RAVENS getting the crappy end of the stick quite often. Harbs hates penalties and he is going to be an unhappy camper a lot this season.
  8. Don't need to prove anything until we get to DENVER. Just work to be ready for that and go from there. We know that this team has the talent and the ability once we get everyone back off of the PUP list. It is a bit concerning to see them falter like they did last week, but we all know what is being done to evaluate players. That is what you do in the pre-season games. Cuts are just ahead and that will be interesting for sure. If you look at the AFC North right now, you have to ask yourself is this division beginning to weaken a bit?
  9. This guy needs to man up and do it now. The time to step up for him is now if he wants to stay here. Why do the RAVENs hang on to players who are always getting hurt and sitting out practices and training camps. Webb won't be ready and was not ready when he reported. Just one more overpaid player that doesn't have what it takes and is content to sit on the bench and get paid. Put his butt out on the street. Ngata was like that too and is pulling the same crap in Detroit right now.
  10. What a stinking officiating crew was that? It appeared that they were overly critical and flagging any and all infractions no matter the severity. That crew was an embarrassment to their trade. They should be fired or sent back for more training as a crew. God help the games that this bunch gest scheduled for.
  11. Face it, they got beat bad and that is the end of it. It was not surprising to me and I actually kind of expected it. The Eagles are a better team than they appear on paper and they will prove that through the season. Now, we still have a lot of unanswered questions just as we do each year at this time. Games like this point out underlying problems and that is the good of having them played. We will get it fixed and will be ready for the opener in Denver. It was ugly though no matter how you looked at it.
  12. The talent is here and the coaching will make whatever changes that are needed to take full advantage of it. I am really feeling good about this team this year. The early part of the season will be a test for sure, but this group can handle it and will be better for it later in the season. As long as Joe can stay upright and healthy we have the team to beat in the AFC North.
  13. Hill and Lewis. This is the pair we need starting this season. Sad to see Elam go down with an injury, but this kind of thing happens and we see I every camp. We just hope that we get through it with minimal loss of talent. I like Elam and hope that he can bounce back quickly. You hate to see those with such potential go down, but that is the nature of the game.
  14. Tagliabue!. The man is a typical Washington bureaucrat. Cannot understand how this clown became the NFL commissioner in the first place. He had his mind made up right from the start that Baltimore was not going to get an expansion team. We all know how that ended and can laugh at him with great pleasure. "Build a museum". That was the line that finally pissed off a city.
  15. There are 2 things that drive me nuts about the NFL. The Ravens always being disrespected, and the Cowboys called "America's Team".
  16. Harrison is just another yahoo trying to make a name for himself. Alex Smith over Flacco based on nothing more than speculation is no surprise to me. What does it really matter anyway? The game is played on the field and we all know that. Alex Smith? How many playoff wins and SB rings does he have?
  17. Last time I checked the game is played on the field not on paper. All of these so-called experts always seem to miss the boat. Of course they will put the RAVENS down. It's what they do. Pittsburgh having a better draft than we did? Get a life. we'll see very soon.
  18. A great draft that we needed to benefit from in a lot of ways. We did get some great talent this year. Now, the one thing that I would like to see us accomplish is to knock off New England in the Playoffs. Taking the Belecheaters out would be a highlight of the season. Goodell can protect them only so far. A serious beatdown by us would be justice served.
  19. Torrey who? Great pick. Looking forward to watching this kid produce. Definitely did not see this one coming to us at our draft position. Happy with this pick for sure.
  20. What a steal this guy is. Never thought that he would still be out there at 17. Another great pick. Ozzie and Eric are on their game again. The more that I think about this selection the more it makes me smile.
  21. A good pick though it was not our primary focus. Seeing Zack Martin fall right in front of us irked me a lot. Dallas has stuck it to us twice on this draft. I was hoping that they would be stupid enough to grab Manziel. Kind of surprised that JJ did not go that route. Now, I hope that Mosley does not pan out to be another Dan Cody or Sergio Kindle. Hopefully, C.J will fit right in and be our guy in the middle for years to come. I hope that we are still focused on getting that O-line wide body that we so need.
  22. Do not envision anything changing with direction that the team is going. Harbaugh will have his way and hire who he wants. That is plain and simple. All this talk about who should be the next OC is not even being heard. They have their plan and they will stick to it, If they can grab someone outside that fits the need fine, I think that staying within the org. is not in the best interest of future progress with the offense. But, what do we all know? We throw out opinion after opinion and hope that we are right. If you want to know who they will hire then contact Flacco. He will be the one who can tell you what direction they are going in. Look for him in a southern Jersey McDonalds. He should be easy to spot. Just sit back relax, watch basketball and see what happens. Of course there is NASCAR starting it's season next month. Before you know it we'll be watching the pre-season games and wondering if the team is going to be improved for the 2014 season. You gotta' wonder.
