  1. Mosley is flat out scary from an injury history, but the FO went BPA and I was glad to see them not settle for Ha Ha. The Kuechly comparisons give me hope. He's going to make plays knifing into the backfield on runs and will make plays anticipating passes. Incredibly instinctive is how I like to see defensive draft picks described. Steelers made a mistake by falling in love with a 40 time. Mosley's a better player.
  2. Steve Smith throwing Richard Sherman around at 47 secs. Love this guy.
  3. Apologies if someone already posted. Steve Smith showing Cary Williams who is the boss in a pre-season game.
  4. Wish Oher the best. I can picture him crying and hugging Joe in the locker room after beating the Broncos.
  5. I'll have to watch him some more highlights, but I have read Smitty has a reputation for being really tough to jam at the line since he is a powerful little guy, and combines that with quick feet. That will be a huge addition if he can bring that to our receiving corps.
  6. Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 42s Ravens and WR Steve Smith reached agreement. He's a Raven.
  7. We're going to draft a guy, but Ravens fans will love the energy and intensity of how he plays. He's still effective and plays with a GIANT chip on his shoulder that's only going to be larger this year.
  8. Multiple places reporting Carolina focused on Nicks to replace Smith so releasing him could happen fast. Their GM was with the Giants previously and likes Nicks. We play the Panthers this year, which is an extra bonus for Steve to show his old team he can still play.
  9. Good for Corey on the deal. He'll always be remembered for being the guy who picked off Peyton in OT and for being a big part of our run.
  10. Holiday is such a fumbler that the Broncos replaced him with Eric Decker on punt returns to finish the season.
  11. Kubiak gets to work with his son again. We could be building a deep squad.
  12. Interesting note from the Charlotte Observer. Steve Smith would be paid $3 million by the Panthers if released, which is why he's refusing to restructure his contract for any potential trade suitors. So, unlikely to be traded, panthers will still release him for the cap savings, and he would be likely be fairly cheap considering he's already getting $3 mill from the panthers. "Because there is no offset language in Smith’s contract, he could collect the $3 million from the Panthers if he’s released, in addition to whatever money another team is willing to pay." http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2014/03/10/4756470/panthers-smith-divorce-close.html#.UyCKKfldWBI Read more here: http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2014/03/10/4756470/panthers-smith-divorce-close.html#.UyCKKfldWBI#storylink=cpy
  13. I haven't noticed Pettigrew much over the last few years but Lions fans apparently hold him in the same regard as Ravens fans do Dickson. They say he's regressed as a blocker over the last few years, and his drops are now a running joke.
  14. All this free agent talk makes me think EatGreedy
  15. I agree with the eval of Edelman, although I wouldn't overpay for him. If you watched the Pats play last year, Edelman gave Tom Brady the luxury of being able to lock on him and trust he will get open right away. As Brady gets older he does not hold the ball to go t/ progressions because he wants nothing to do with getting hit. Edelman and Vereen were his quick pass favorite targets with no Gronk that were able to consistently get open and make tough catches. Bundchen missed Edelman several times in the AFC conference game including when he was WIDE open for what would have been a long TD in the 1st half when the game was close.
  16. IThe idea of Stevie Smith assuming he is cut, is growing on me. Smith can still run (I remember him winning his matchup with Talib pretty convincingly this year on MNF) and would give the offense that swagger that left with Anquan. We could still draft a receiver but with less pressure to be a day 1 starter, which would be a good thing for a young receiver.
  17. Better price for a similar caliber player.
  18. Maybe I'm asking for a little creativity in player use, but its not a huge stretch, and another team is considering it too. Not as crazy as moving Brandon Browner to Safety if you know what I mean.
  19. Am I about to get ranted on? I think I'm making fairly logical, non-heated points.
  20. Who are you Dean Pees? If the 49ers think he fits 3-4, then he obviously can, so that makes you wrong. You didn't even know he plays rush DT.
  21. Everyone has to rotate more this year to avoid wearing down including Suggs and Dumervil. He wouldn't be a part-time player.
  22. I hear you, but he rush I hear you but, that's conventional thinking, but he's more versatile than you think. He can be used in different ways and his forte is actually rushing from DT on passing downs.
  23. he's flexible enough to play in different schemes. 49ers are apparently considering him too for their 3-4.
  24. With reports that Michael Bennett wants to test free agency, apparently the Seahawks offer wasn't good enough, maybe we make a run at him if Monroe walks. We have more cap then they do.
  25. Lance Moore impressed me as a funny guy doing the Key & Peele Mckringleberry TD dance. Youtube that if you've never seen it.
