Not sure where to put this, currently at a scholarship banquet that maxx williams is the guest speaker. Great young man. Still rehabbing the knee, one month away from running. Looks good though. Big man
Saints game means nothing? Can't they finish 8-8 too? Could be wrong, not sure what the tie breaker is either. Anyway, go denver
Anyone else think the problem could be that our coaches are Former HCs?
Gotta be young with pierce right behind
Pierce needs some love after that game. He balled oh so hard
A few things to think about this game, tyrod does not use the middle of the field... At all. That's been our Achilles heel in the last, short crossing routes. Also our secondary, did a great job covering deep and possibly the middle of the field, but we weren't contesting any passes. Could just be pees typical game plan, allow the short pass and make the tackle

Sure we can, there's only so many colors to go around. 32 teams with way less than 32 colors to choose from
O: Stanley
o om: butler, Dixon, west, really the the whole o line imo as well as mallet n Johnson at qb
d: Levine/judon- take aways and sacks are what this team has been missing
Can't think of another om for d atm

It does but I'm pretty sure we were schedule there when another hurricane came (was it Katrina?). And it was cancelled, ended up being our bye week at week 3 or around there if I'm remembering correctly
Sss. That's how he is
I really don't see an open roster spot for Kruger. Who do you bench or cut for him?

I'm among the few who still believe in him so I'll put him in the "disappointment" category until the end of next season.
Same draft, different player. Arthur brown was my favorite player (in realistic range for us to get). So pumped when we got him, can't find his way in the field.
I'd rather see Reynolds at qb than manziel
I wonder how much Tucker's fg% at M&T is going to effect his contract
No major injuries...
Well none if the seven were picked...
the end
Well... It's that time of year where something to talk about is... Well something to talk about. Just saw Ra'Zahn Howard, DT from Purdue was declaring for the supplemental draft. No idea who he is. So my question is, is there anyone worth taking this year or does anyone even know who is in this draft? I'm sure there's no josh Gordon or we would've heard by now. But really, anyone or anything worth discussing? Hate this time of year.

I don't see any of our players except maybe Brandon Williams top 3 at their position. But we have a bunch of solid cornerstone players. And that is how we won the super bowl a couple years ago. A well rounded team with good depth and great coaching will get the job done. Ask New England. Most their players are average at best.
Yanda? He's probably top at his position. Tucker's definitely close to top 3.
While discussing this years roster with some friends, we became stumped on who our return man will be. I've heard Reynolds name brought up but don't know if that's based on his experience or just his pure athletic abilities.
As of right now, who will be competing as our return man/men?

Now, the question is whether or not Fischer believes that Goff is really a guy you can build your franchise around AND how high do you have to jump to get him. I think the only way they jump is if the Browns get an FA QB and select a different position. Otherwise, the LA Rams (wow, it feels weird to say that in a deja vu kind of way) would have to jump to #1 to get him. The cost of that (despite what ammo they may have) will be prohibitive.
Of course, LA believes that there are multiple franchise QBs in this draft, they may jump even if CLE takes a QB. If that happens, then I think we become an ideal trading partner.
I think they're more likely to jump if Cleveland does take a qb. 3 first round talent qbs in the draft this year. If all 3 are still there when we are on the click, not much of a need to trade up for one. Honestly if somehow Cleveland and another team go qb before us, we could rob any other qb needy team
Most excited ive ever been for a 7th round pick. Not just because we were out of picks and traded the following year pick for him (always exciting when you go from awww no more picks to wooo one more!). Pro bowl talent? maybe, as a featured slot receiver I could see it, but like everyone else knows, your talent means nothing if you cant stay on the field

That's my problem with Alexander. Not so much a knock on him but clemsons pass rush was so dominant that the opposing qb got one read and often had to hurry his throw.
Hate the first pick but love the rest of the draft. Big Thompson fan
