By the way, everyone who has signed up for the continuation but hasn't signed up for the new board, please do so as soon as possible so that we can get the ball rolling.
Love the Andre Brown selection as well. Terrific complementary back.
I love the Jed Collins pick. One of the more underrated FBs, in my opinion.
This was a nice pick. I really like Moore as your back up to the uncertain locker. He is a very nice back up and I believe better than several starters as you point out his strong starting campaign when given the opportunity.
Thank you. It won't erase the questions at QB, but it will quell them to a degree. I'm glad that you think that about Moore as well.
The pick is in. Matt Moore should make for a solid option behind Jake Locker. Moore's 2011 campaign was among the more underrated performances of that season. He finished with the 2nd highest percentage of passing yards before the catch with 66.5%, as well as the 9th best yardage and 9th highest completion percentage on deep throws, despite the 3rd most drops on such attempts. He also looked just as solid when he did see the field in 2012, with 76.3% before the catch and again the 9th best accuracy on deep throws. It helps that he fared rather well in the Preseason game, if that means anything. Personally, I believe that Moore still has the capability to be a dependable starter. Should Locker struggle with injuries or his play on the field, I wouldn't be uncomfortable with Moore as my signal caller with the pieces that I have offensively.
I don't recall Eli being significantly inconsistent when watching the Giants this year. That's coming from somebody who's despised him throughout the majority of his career.
I'll do it. Let me just check something out real quick.
Not sure how the Geno Smith selection can be seen as controversial. Solid pick at this point, regardless of the QB situation. I like the pick of Da'Rick Rogers as well. He's been generating buzz in the Offseason. His talent has never been in question, so while there's some risk with his behavioral problems, there's obviously a ton of upside as well.
I honestly have no idea which direction I will go. Too many options left. I definitely agree with sentiments shared by Truth and Ravensdan.
Tebow time?
I hear my fans now chanting for Tim when Romo has a bad pick. Good thing we got him the best offensive line he's ever had
Thank you. In all honesty, at this point, I'm gauging which players are more likely to be available after this round and acting accordingly. There is a sense of forward thinking with this process, and the remaining crop isn't going to retire after we're finished, so I'm going to do a little projecting for my own sake.
I have 3 players I want to take with my final pick. 3 different positions. Have no idea which one to take if they are all there. I can tell you I won't be choosing a kicker for team chaos. Wayyy too many valuable positions remaining.
Could not agree more. I recall seeing some skepticism when I mentioned that this would happen in the beginning of this process. Not from you, obviously. I'm not the least bit surprised by the amount of starting talent still on the board.
Thanks, not super thrilled with him as starter but he's one of the best 3-4 OLBs remaining and gives my pressure-anemic team some pass-rush.
No problem. If it helps, Barnes only started 4 games in his two seasons at San Diego. He was very good in that span, amassing 4 sacks, 4 QB hits and 8 pressures, with 13 run stops and 3 missed tackles.
I forgot all about Brett Keisel. Solid pick, especially at this point.
It's a weird feeling to wonder why somebody's tail pipe is smoking and then realizing that it's coming from under your hood. The engine overheated so I had to make an unscheduled pit stop.
Anyways, the pick is in. It was a difficult decision between several candidates, but Phillips Adams displayed too much upside last season to be looked over. A player who's very physical at the LOS, with an ability locate the ball and attack the pigskin in 50-50 situations, a skill he developed while playing basketball in High School, Adams has the makings of a solid CB. He plays with good awareness of his responsibilities and was arguably Oakland's best CB last season. He hasn't been tested much, but also hasn't given up a QB rating higher than 53.9 in two seasons. Turning 25 this summer, his best ball is likely ahead of him, as long as he can remain healthy. He'll be able to step right in and man the Nickle duties.
I'll be back in about an hour. My pick will be in then.
Great pick in Barnes. I've been considering selecting him. His role was reduced last season, but he was still productive during that time. And at 28, he should still have a few years left in the tank.
i had him very high as a possible change to 4-3, really good pick, especially this late in the game
Many thanks, my friend. I wasn't sure whether he'd last until this selection, and I still have holes at FB and ST. But there's too much talent on the board to bypass. Fortunately, there are no requirements on what positions we are required to have, as it's at our discretion given the amount of rounds, so at least I don't feel the need to pressure myself into taking a certain position.
I like Carrington a lot.
Thank you.
The pick is in. Alex Carrington turned it on last season with a solid campaign for Buffalo, excelling as an interior pass rusher. He's drawn very positive reviews this Offseason and has practiced with the starting unit on many occasions. He's unlikely to unseat neither Kyle Williams nor Marcell Dareus, but was said by their DL coach to be heavily utilized in 2013 due to his ability to play every position across the front. Carrington gives me a young, starter worthy option inside should Richard Seymour retire, and if both are on the field this season, he will spell the latter to keep his aging body fresh. The additions of Kavell Conner and now Carrington, should effectively account for the two veterans who are without a team thus far.
He was on at 5 pm and he was PM'd at 3 pm.
Duke williams is one of my favorite prospects coming out of this fraft. Nice versatile player who can handle all the safety responsibilities. He is maybe the surest tackler in this whole class as well.
My boy!
Glad Robinson made it to me. He struggled last year as a #1 CB but that isn't his role in my defense. He is my #3 CB and will play outside on passing downs while Leon Hall moves inside to the slot. His ability in press-man should serve my heavy-pressure defensive scheme very well in limited reps.
Robinson actually manned the #2 role throughout the majority of last season, but if it helps, he fared far better in the 2011 season. So the potential is still there. Things should be much easier for him in a reduced role.
Wasn't porter picked earlier?
I don't believe so. I've just checked the thread and he was the only Porter selected thus far.
The next five selections go as follows:
Steelers Prophet
CARavensfan
RavensAllTheWay
Miami Hurricane
gabefergy
That would be complete chaos and suck for anyone who's not online. Just like it was in the other game when a few just hoarded players.
I also wouldn't recommend it. There will be a ton of players still available, so it could easily turn into a disaster. It could honestly crash the board with the sheer amount of posts.

I can always appreciate the value of a deep backfield. Awesome. Thank you very much.
