  1. Solid points. Beckham Jr. was one of my favorite prospects in the entire draft, but he was better in contested situations. He had some of the best hands I've ever seen on a prospect, and I don't feel that his situation is comparable to Ross'. I personally like Ross. But I'm also not entirely on board with the Brandin Cooks comparisons. Having watched Cooks extensively since his college days, I felt that Cooks was better on 50/50 throws. He also had sharper cuts in the open field. Ross is obviously no slouch himself there, but the point remains.
  2. @Jonah DeVito is OTC.
  3. Good to hear. The credit on Lee goes to T3hRaven. I made the pick on behalf of his team.
  4. @ludy51 is OTC.
  5. I like the McNichols pick. He's an underrated prospect at RB.
  6. You've been on the clock for 5 hours. This serves as a reminder to everyone. Please keep tabs on when you're up.
  7. @JO_75 Your two selections are OTC.
  8. @arnie_uk Good pick in Murray. I just put him on board and was hoping he'd fall into the 6th.
  9. @Capitano1412 is OTC.
  10. Thank you. Happy to hear that and I agree. If he's there in the middle rounds, I hope we give him a look.
  11. @arnie_uk will be skipped in 20 minutes. @PaRAYdise will follow, followed by @52520Andrew.
  12. Thank you, fellas. Helps to know that others like his potential as a pass rusher.
  13. I understand the concern and I appreciate the complement. Truth be told, I'm more worried about the medical concern and the inconsistent effort level. With regards to his height, I feel that he constantly uses his stature as an advantage in tandem with his first step. From a technique stand point, it looks like he has the raw bases of the outside moves down pat. Be it the bend and burst, the dip and rip, I thought he put on a clinic during the North Carolina game alone (Link1, Link2, Link3, Link4, Link5). Amassing success against both OTs, Price forced them into short setting and hop stepping almost immediately into their pass blocking sets. The spin move on the OG was mostly textbook (Link). He's playing half the man, he rushes upfield on the guard's outside shoulder, he keeps his inside arm extended to maintain separation, then he waits until the guard shifts his weight into him, drops his hips, and plants with his outside foot to swing back inside. There was also a semblance of the speed bull rush (Link). It could use some polish as the third step push-off with his outside leg is somewhat rounded, but he effectively puts the overcompensating OT on his heels and pushes him into Mitchell Trubisky two seconds into the play. The latter sentiment in general is what stood out in my eyes because he wasn't a clean up artist or a second effort rusher but rather a player who could consistently win within the first three seconds of the play. It wasn't limited to just the North Carolina game. He also showed off the double swipe against Virginia (Link), or an aforementioned speed rush against Penn State (Link). He's also not a liability in the running game where he also uses his explosion and balance to his advantage (Link1, Link2, Link3) He has a fair amount of polish in the pass rushing department, which makes sense considering that he's an older prospect. The downside to his age is that he's likely filled out, but he has a stocky frame, and the moves he utilizes are arguably translatable. The James Harrison and Elvis Dumervil examples have been thrown around in almost every scouting report with regards to offsetting height as a negative trait, and rightfully so, but we've also seen the likes of Robert Mathis be able to consistently win with an outside arsenal while bending low to the ground (Link1, Link2). I'm certainly not name dropping those three as my expectations for Price. But I do like his upside, at least as a pass rushing specialist.
  14. I can take the rest from here.

  16. Thank you kindly. The North Carolina tape put him on the map for me. Agreed on both accounts with regards to the inconsistency and coaching. It's not something he can get away with at the next level if he wants to be a full-time starter, so I hope it'll motivate him. Thanks.
  17. Went with Price after some long deliberation. His level of effort when the play is nearing its end is questionable, and he slows down when facing double teams, but the flashes are impressive. He's explosive, twitchy, uses his height to gain advantage in leverage battles, has a plan of attack when facing OTs as far as counter-moves go, and he has an extensive range of moves. He could develop into a solid situational pass rusher and perhaps may challenge for a starting role down the road.

  23. Damn. I was hoping Brown would fall into his projected range. I like him a lot. He may be limited to two-down duties, but he could be a terrific run defender. Wouldn't mind if the Ravens picked him up.
  24. Didn't know you were targeting a kicker. I would've traded you Novak for a late rounder.
  25. @ludy51 is OTC.
