  1. Veldheer is a beast of a player.
  2. Jesus Christ. Hope you get some sleep in the downtime. Exactly right. Nailed it in the last part.
  3. He just PM'd me stating that he'll change the tag tomorrow. To be honest, I wasn't completely certain on how the rules worked when the dead money was higher than the cap hit, and that falls squarely on my shoulders. But either way, I thought it was a fair trade. Bowie played 8 games at OT compared to Davis' 19. Davis graded out as the 28th best OT, and Bowie was the 34th. Along with that, he received a rock solid back up RB in Robert Turbin, a position of need considering that he traded away Kendall Hunter and is looking to ship away Frank Gore. He also received Jermaine Kearse, who was coming into his own down the stretch and carving out a spot as a number 3 WR, and he received a mid-rounder in the process.
  4. It'd be 2 Stars, since the figure would be $2,201,070, which would round down. I believe that he was mulling over switching the June 21st designation to Davis.
  5. And why exactly?
  6. He graded out as the best RT in 2012. Davis did take a slight step back in 2013, but he still finished in the Top 10 at his position. I did have to let loose of a few young pieces with upside. For what it's worth, Michael Bowie was the highest graded OL for Seattle last season. That being said, I'm happy to have fortified my OL this early. At the least, the right side of Mike Pouncey and Anthony Davis should be a significant upgrade over J.R. Sweezy and Breno Giacomini. Marshawn Lynch may not have to break 97 tackles in the running game this season for the rushing attack to be successful lol
  7. Official Trade: Seattle - 5th (148) round selection (.5 Stars), Robert Turbin (RB) (.5 Stars), Jermaine Kearse (WR) (.5 Stars), Gregg Scruggs (DE) (.5 Stars), Michael Bowie (OT) (.5 Stars) San Francisco - Anthony Davis (OT) (2 Stars)
  8. No problem. You traded away a singular piece to gain several, and like you've stated, the team has more than one need to fill.
  9. I actually think it was a solid deal for both teams. Kerrigan is certainly a talented pass rusher, but I've seen him get washed out in the running game. He has a tendency of losing the ball carrier at the LOS in attempt to penetrate the backfield. Brian Orakpo being retained gave Washington the flexibility to move him, and they did so for an early selection, a later one, and a WR who showed quality potential before a disappointing 2012 campaign. Meanwhile, San Diego finally gets a quality edge rusher capable of staying on the field.
  10. Wow. Haloti Ngata, Justin Smith and DeMarcus Ware. Age and injuries aside, that's just terrifying to even think about.
  11. lol Hey, I was as surprised as anyone. The raw numbers backed it up a bit, with 21 run stops to 4 missed tackles and a QB rating of 61.5 in coverage. Thank you. I've been a fan of Williams for quite a bit. He's been an outstanding run defender since first coming out of College. The only concern with him is that he saw less than 300 snaps last season, but they likely used more sub-packages than base ones. Williams should pair nicely inside with Brandon Mebane. I wil miss Irvin's versatility, but between K.J. Wright, Bobby Wagner and Malcolm Smith, I have enough at OLB to hold me over.
  12. Official Trade: Seattle - 6th (163) round selection & Bruce Irvin (OLB) Arizona - 3rd (84) round selection & Dan Williams (DT)
  13. It's because I put the cuts into the previous post. Happens to the best of us. Much, much appreciate your help.
  14. Down to a -4 after the cuts.
  15. Then I should be glad... (•_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■) ...that I decided to Pouncey on it. YEEEEAAAHHH!
  16. Looking to trade a high pick for a WR, TE, OL or DL, but preferably the first two positions. Also willing to offer players in return.
  17. Official Trade: Seattle - Jesse Williams (DT) Arizona - 5th (148) round selection
  18. Thank you very much. The OL is still a work in progress, but it's coming together, at least.
  19. Thank you, once more. I thought so as well. I personally consider Clady to be a master technician. In this Division alone, I'll be facing Aldon Smith, Robert Quinn and John Abraham. Okung is certainly a very good LT in his own right. But I'm not sure whether he can match those three on a consistent basis. He was also slightly cheaper. Jesus. That's a plethora of ammunition. The confidence is warranted.
  20. Not even close. Maurkice has been nothing but hype thus far. Mike is the significantly better player.
  21. No argument there. The reports that came out were pretty damning, and both sides of the ordeal would benefit from a change of scenery.
  22. Glad that we're on the same page. I'm surprised that they've been able to survive with the OGs that they have. Now it's just a matter of whether I want to keep Pouncey on the right side to offset my issues at RT or whether I should sandwich him between Ryan Clady and Max Unger.
  23. Hughes apparently had an outstanding season, well on par with where he was drafted. There are obviously questions as to whether he can keep up the level of play, especially with Mike Pettine no longer being his DC, but he is going to a defense with enough firepower to give him single looks on a consistent basis.
  24. Thank you. Outside of the a horrendous game against our own Baltimore Ravens, Pouncey had another very good season. He'll benefit from a change of scenery given the recent reports, and will likely have a hard time bullying others in a locker room full of bullies. I'll probably move Pouncey to OG, considering that he was slated as a potential C/OG when coming out of College.
  25. Confirmed.
