I understand. I see. Perhaps it only came off that way at times. I'd agree in that McLendon wasn't phenomenal. In my estimation, he was only solid, but consistent in that level of play. Personally, I favor his movement skills, which are impressive for a player of his size. He has good, not great upper body strength. But it's aided by his balance, and the tendency along with the ability of playing with leverage. He continues to push once he has won at the POA, and also flows well to the football. I would akin some of the success in several of those departments to his background in ballet. I don't know that he has the upside to become an elite NT, so I'm certainly not going that far. But I do like him as a dependable starter for the next few years, and am not surprised to hear the organization is is fond of him. That's just my take on him.
