I agree. Though this class is tough to figure out and I was wondering if Watson going 11th would change the trend, they certainly do tumble in our proceedings. Part of it has to do with the comfort level at the position after trades and FA. I feel like most teams come into the Draft feeling like their QB situation is set.

I'm surprised that Patrick Mahomes lasted this long. His footwork and tendency to scramble despite a clean pocket will be difficult challenges to overcome. He's a sandlot QB, his accuracy on deep throws is inconsistent, and his floor is as low as his ceiling on high. But with regards to the latter, he arguably has as much upside as any QB in this class. He might have one of the better arms in the league in his first season. I didn't need a QB but I was attempting to trade up for him myself.

There is also a chance that somebody wasn't a fan of the selection, but I wouldn't take it to heart. We have at least one serial downer who comes around and negs most selections, if not every selection. It's happened each of the last several years. All of mine were just taken down by one from their prior scores. It's become difficult to tell nowadays whether it's genuinely disliked or whether it's the work of Neg Man. Not all heroes wear a cape.

I don't know that there's another back out there comparable to Bell with regards to the amount of time he spends patiently waiting behind the LOS for holes to develop. Hard comp to use for any RB.

Good to hear. Sounds like it's what rmw10 described in Apple coming into his own down the stretch. They actually gave Jenkins a grade of 80.5 in 2015, which is well above average and the highest grade of his career to that point.

Definitely makes sense to have a complete TE for the Giants. How good has Apple looked? I didn't have a chance to watch him this season as I was mostly focused on the other DB members. The only thing I know is that both and Hargraves III didn't grade out well per PFF, finishing 84th and 90th respectively.

That's a good point. Eli Apple over Vernon Hargreaves III is a very good example of that.
