  1. Well trestman is more bill Walsh and Mike shanny/kubiak is more don coryell I Dont think trestman respects the run game as much as shanny's/Kubiak does seeing how Bears run game fared this year
  2. Well...west coast offense... I hate west coast offense. What is going to happen w/ our run game?
  3. Dont know when I voiced anything about looking for dud coaches so we can keep them. My message is that some of these coaches that comes here are for one thing. Themselves and nothing else. I like to see some coaches stay here for a while longer than 1-2year. Especially on offensive side considering how much changes we are having lately.
  4. Doesn't really matter. Seems like every coaches on ravens are being promoted to HC every year. He'll leave soon as he uses us just like every other coaches that comes here and bounces out soon as they get the chance.
  5. Makes you think if belicheat says "give flacco the bad ball for the last throw"
  6. I think Elam needs to find what he is great at and just focus on HIS game. Dont try to imitate anyone else. Ward is certainly limited player. You know he can't cover guys man to man, but the coaches find a way to use him within what he does best. Maybe Elam can do that also. 2015 is basically his year to figure that out. Else its over for elam
  7. He is strictly a zone corner. Give him an opportunity to be a cover guy and he blew it. BIG TIME.
  8. Just let it be. Whatever is not working for him right now is something he needs to take care of.
  9. Shouldve happen 10 years ago. But I put Bengals in the 5-11 category, just in case there is a slim chance he does.Although I like the idea Jim and John being on same division. That awkward brother hug Jim gets from john when they are in the field is 'fun to watch'. Not sure if Jim wants to be in any more circus media or attention to himself. He is probably fed up with being on the circus enough as it is on 49ers.
  10. You think his going to a division with broncos, kc, chargers? With perhaps the worst talent pool in nfl? I doubt it. One upside for raiders is that they got a ton of cap. Seeing how defiantly polar opposite young Davis wants to portray himself as,away from AL Davis 'spend and win', I don't see him spending any money for next year either.
  11. Its pretty much been one of the most interesting talk in the past month. With 49ers sealing the season w/ no playoff hope, Jim is now a hot candidate for NFL/College team to vy for a tremendous coach that knows how to win. Michigan just offered him 48million/6 year offer (8m p.year avg), which would make him the highest paid coach in college. The downside would be that he is going back to college. Can you really compare fiesta bowls/pizza hut bowls to SUPERBOWL? Especially when the coach knows he has the talent to get a good team to a superbowl? Any other college team: NONE. There is no college team that can even sniff Jim at the moment. The only way another college grabs Jim out from Michigan is with a higher payday. No college has the size, fanbase, and history/connection that Michigan does with Harbaugh family. My prediction is that if Harbaugh CAN, he would at the very least look for a NFL team rife with talent that has tremendous history, fanbase and SUPPORT from both players and front office direly looking for a new direction. #1 team in NFL that might land him would be: Atlanta Falcons Upside:With a sub .500 division, rife with talent in many areas, Harbaugh could be a major upgrade to Mike Smith. Downside: Putrid defense that needs to be scraped from top to bottom. Including most of the defensive coaches to FO. GM is also another headache that has a history of having a terrible track record of drafting defensive players. #2 team in NFL: Miami Dolphins. Upside: Another team loaded with talent that can look for a new direction. The owner and the fans havent had a playoff season in over a decade. Joe Philbin looks to be on his way out with another dud season with a 7-7 record. Downside: Loaded division that looks to be competitive next year. Bills, New England has talents to keep dolphins at bay. Miami is a hard place for drill Sargent to live in. With virtually all players having access to nightlife and temptation outside of football in the city, it would be hard for a coach to put a focused/strict disciplined team in southside beach. #3 team in NFL: Chicago Bears Upside: Rife with perhaps one of the most historic name and huge fan base, winning a SB in Chicago would make Jim a household name in NFL lore. Chicago has ton of talent on offense and few talents on defense that a coach can build on. Downside: Tough fan base with high expectation, and a competition division with Lions and Packers, it would be the most difficult landing spot to top the division. #4 49ers: Upside: went to NFCC 3x with core players. Downside: Bridges are burned w/ top brass. #5-11 Raiders/TB/CIN/Redskins/Ten/Jags/Jets - Either a circus or impossible. Slim chance. What are your thoughts on where Jim would land?
  12. Just let the magic happen.
  13. The "other" C.J Mosley...lol http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11815221/detroit-lions-bring-back-dt-cj-mosley-suspension-lb-kyle-van-noy-reserve-list
  14. He used to get pushed around pretty easily while he was on pit. Not that its really reliable...but just from the few games i saw, his not a reliable player when it comes to pass protection. I'm not too sure about run game though.
  15. Aaron Wilson @RavensInsider Sunny Shah, Timmy Jernigan's agent, said the defensive lineman agreed to terms a little while ago, will sign his $4.382 million deal tonight
  16. Urschel (as much i like the guy as a person) is not going to beat even Gino. John is probably the weakest guy in the whole lineman corp we have atm. It also doesn't help he has no physical attribute nor the technique. I think if anything, he can help other players understand and teach them the schemes while his learning our football offense. Other than that, him being on the field is going to be incredibly hard.
  17. Nope. Andre can retire. I don't want a guy pondering retirement on a decline w/ a +10m cap
  18. Surprised Texans went BPA twice
  19. Day2 awaits when we still have plenty to look up to. Way too many talented WR left on the draft.
  20. Just go check all of our 1st round picks from the past. I have a feeling our FO knows what they are doing.
  21. Hmm..ward off the board a lot faster than I thought
  22. Same thought. Honestly...haha/Pryor over Mosley? Please think before talking folks!
  23. At worst Jordan Matthews for 2nd round for ravens!
  24. Like I said last week. I give him props for changing his lifestyle. NFL wasn't meant to be for Rolando. GL to him IRL and please no more Rolando thread from here on out.
  25. I think you have a valid point. But as far as I can see it, this career just wasn't meant to be for Rolando. The guy seems like he is trying to do the right thing, and I give him some major props for fixing his lifestyle. But in terms of football I really have no shame in critizng him b/c its not personal, its just business. Far as I know, until he wears the purple and black he isn't a Raven. Till then he should work his butt off being the best or not try at all. B/C that's the only he'll get back to NFL.
