You know what is interesting? I remember 49ers fans having this same discussion few years back. They kept loading on drafting WR @draft year after year for 3straight years on high draft picks on multiple rounds and really have nothing to come out from it. Now they have Torrey smith and anquan boldin. Loading on receiver because of NEED can lead to reaching players and forcing a role they might not fit into. I rather our FO keep an eye on every area and keep the BPA trend going. Everyone except for few thought loading on D last year was a dissapointment the moment we were done with draft. Loading on D simply based on BPA and not bc of need. But the end result was that we ended with perhaps the best draft in the past 5years. Just let Ozzie and our FO and do their thang. Thank goodness we got enough fan base to support what our FO do. The rest of the dodo fans can join the raiders/browns and bark at what they want and enjoy having April their best month of the year!

I want the pats to hand out their draft picks to the colts & to the ravens. Its the only way to keep these cheatriots on bay for another 10years. Otherwise the cheats can fly to wwe's xfl and skirt all the rules they want to as much as they please.

Really? Will had few solid games, but he faded away as much as he showed up. He also had another incident while in ravens uniform. He isn't a very marketable player either to sell jerseys. I didn't expect his tender to be high tbh..

big guys with fat wallets need to start helping the team. ngata and webb for example. a clear sign says both those guys contract need a revision. until then, a FA is just a dream. We almost always keep ~5mill after season starts for injury/resign/pick up purposes. We basically have nothing to spend.

I'd grab him if his willing to play 2m/yr immediately. Slot w/ Webb&jimmy and he is durable

If we miss out on davante/strong or any realistic 1st round WR and go with BPA, we might be left with some sorry GRP of receivers. If (a big if), ajohnz take sss money, you are instantly getting a minimum 900yard guy. With sss & ajohnz and young guys in a mix you are set for playoff this year.

Julius regressed compared to the prior season. Orange Julius will never produce the numbers he did w/ Peyton and whoever pays for him will be inline to get fired. I see his hype in the FA market like I saw mike Wallace market few years back.

My mistake here. Didn't even catch the names and assumed too fast. I would like folks just in general to talk more about DBs than WRs. I feel like too many people are in the receiver train and just putting themselves on the 'dissapointed' mindset if we were to grab a great corner or safety. People still talks about OBJ and feel like we didnt do our due diligence on last year on getting a receiver @draft on 1st round...even when CJ mosley won a pro bowl and narrowly lost for the DROY crown.

No thoughts on DBs though? The last thought I had in mind after we lost to the patriots were "well we need to draft some DBs"
