If we draft a new QB, and he pans out. And he receives the contract that his overall performance then yes you pay him. Joe was never going to perform on those contracts. Folks, stop comparing loser QBs and think that is a way to SB heaven. Stop bringing loser teams and value that as we should do.

I would say other than Peyton Manning for last year, the past 5 SB winners won the SBs with their old contract. Don't see any of them with 'overpaid' contract that won with that new contract. Nope. Overpaying QBs hasn't panned out.

i go back to what i agreed with you earlier, you know, things can change very quickly in NFL. that 20m can change. NFL looks at superbowl winners and winning teams in general and copycat them.

Nope you can't. But I think our scenario is best to start looking for new QBs. High draft or NOT, just start the evaluation process now. Waiting until '2020' isnt the only option out there.
