Sure it's been quoted, but Mayock said it best:

    PICK ANALYSIS:

"I think he compares favorably to the Cowboys' Tyron Smith. That's high praise. I saw him play a lot of football at Notre Dame. He's a dancing bear. He was offered several Pac-12 basketball scholarships, so that tells you something about his feet. His pass protection skills are almost as good as Laremy Tunsil's, but right now Stanley is a better run blocker. Plus, Stanely is totally clean off the field, which is about to come into play." -- Mike Mayock

Mayock is also a notorious notre dame homer.

Debatable. Hargreaves is likely a slot corner in the Pros.

I don't care about immediate impact (which Stanley could easily make). I care about long term stability protecting the guy you pay 8 figures a year to.

I'd love to have a franchise LT as well but I don't believe in taking one this high unless he's a freak talent or has top tier potential. I don't see that in him. He has no nasty, soft, inconsistent... I hate being that guy but we massively reached for him

Can you guys please explain the love for Ramsey? I would understand if he was a turnover machine but he lacks that skill. I believe Myles Jack is our best option in the draft, not only can he thrive on the inside but if we end up drafting Scooby Wright in the 4th then Myles Jack can slide outside and start opposite of Suggs.

The reports about his knee is hopefully our Ravens trying to get him to slide down just far enough for us to draft him.

For all the same reasons I love Jack. I just value CB/S more for us. Both freak athletes with huge ceilings, no serious flaws. Lack of turnovers doesn't concern me at all. With NFL coaching and experience I think Ramsey will among the best one day.  He's got everything you want from a prospect.

Bosas issues are practically non-existent. I don't see them being scared of bosas non issues after taking Gregory and bridging hardy. I truly think they won't learn their lesson, not that their past problems has anything to do with bosa anyway

Agreed they're non issue for me too but who knows. After experiencing that with Hardy, plus the Lawrence & Gregory suspensions, they might be more more delicate and hesitant drafting someone with any baggage or character concerns. Slight as they be. Especially at #4.

  5. I believe it comes down to this and still lean Jack. Higher ceiling & would do more for our D.

Remember a lot of smokescreens being used this time of year. Don't let Perriman influence your thoughts on this at all.

  6. This is like a movie where everyone thinks a guy dies and his wife moves on and falls in love with his best friend and then the guy comes back and it's all awkward...

Happy to hear but we clearly moved on these past years by adding an abundance of talent at the position. Realistically has no place on the roster with Gilmore, Watson, Maxx and Boyle. Unless we wanna keep 5 but I'm not sure what his role would be...Just look at the flowers, Dennis. ?
