About to watch the Hungergames....I hope this doesn't affect my manliness...
Gothika.
real good movie.
Quick 5 minutes what movie should I watch
The Italian Job....It was alright, to much unreal action imo.
Shottas....didn't like it.
The Orphan. Scariest movie I've ever seen lol. And that being judged by me being in that situation. Must see lol
The dictator. Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh lol
Just saw Ted. Not as funny as it was hyped up to be, still not that bad.
Great movie. One of my personal favorites. Stay with it, lol.
I stuck with it. I have to watch it again, but it was a really good movie.
I'm watching Inception. And I gotta say, an hour in and I'm pretty confused. Lol
Also I watch re-runs of Hells Kitchen,Cops and Worlds Dumbest whenever I see it on.
Gordon Ramsey is hilarious.
Whenever I watch Family Guy is when it's on adult swim, and when it's the old ones. The newer ones just aren't funny to me. I think Seth Mcfarlen is running out of jokes and ideas with all the different shows he's made.
But on top of that, Chazz opened up an Italian Restaurant in Baltimore that has some awesome meatballs. haha.
The resturant's name? Chazz: A Bronx Original
Wow, definitely gonna check that out.
Yeah I heard bad things about Godfather 3 but if i watch 1 and 2 I'll have to watch 3 as well.
You need to watch I and II, ASAP.
Haha, will do. As soon as I get time I'll just devote a whole day to it.
Raging Bull and The Deer Hunter are two of my favourite De Niro films. If he's your favourite actor and you haven't seen those films, you're going to love him even more after you've seen them lol!
Lol, when I saw Taxi Driver it took me a few seconds to realize that he was in it. He was so young in that. I started watching movies of his when he was older, like Goodfellas,Casino and A Bronx Tale. It's wierd going backwards haha.
I still haven't seen any of The Godfather's, I really need too soon, I feel I'm missing out.
But to really enjoy those you need to be a De Niro fan as well.
Well maybe that's why I love his movies so much. I haven't seen Raging Bull yet, but I read good things about it. The Departed was awesome and had the best cast I've ever seen. Of course I rather of them used De Niro as the old cop, but that guy was still good. haha
Have you seen The Deer Hunter? Thats another movie I wanna check out eventually.
Goodfellas sucked? Your opinions have now been rendered invalid for all time.
"No more shines, Billy."
I hated that movie, and it's a perfect illustration of why Scorsese sucks. You pointed it out, he set up the story one way to ruin it in the last five minutes. The guy can't close, every movie I've seen has either sucked throughout (as in Goodfellas) or been ruined by his cop out endings (as in The Departed). He might be the most overrated director of all time.
I love Goodfellas and The Departed! Scorsese is one of the best IMO.
Shutter Island was a little shaky for me, but it was still good. I had to google what the ending meant and it all made sense afterwards. This is my least favorite Scorsese film, and he does have a pattern of ending movies sort of the same way, but it was very suspensful and mysterious which is always fun to watch.
All I really watch is Sportscenter really.
I also watch alot of crime shows on ID late at night when sportscenter is just re running lol. Sometimes I watch the shows on FX like The League and Wilfred. When Southpark starts back up I'll be on that.
I just saw Shutter Island for the first time.
Anyone else ever see it? It was a good movie, definitely one that I have to watch twice.
I don't want to accept that Leanardo was crazy the whole time even though it was obvious at the beginning. I kind of just want to hold on to the conspiracy that the doctors were really just evil lol. Kind of like he does throughout the whole film...
Scorsese amazes me once again!
Taxi Driver.
I finally learnt where the line "You talking to me?" came from.
Robert De Niro is officially my favorite actor and one of the greatest all time, if not top 2 or 3.
It was alright. I think its a bit over hyped. Those were the years that Pacino was on fire. I would recommend 'Dog Day Afternoon' or 'Serpico' before '....And Justice for All'.
That movie does have Pacino ranting that famous line:
I just wanna see if I could find my grandfather. Apparently he was a cop sitting in the courtroom next to him.
Thanks though, I'll have to check those out. I have yet to see an Al Pacino I don't like.
My mom told me my grandfather was in the movie "And Justice For All" with Al Pacino.
Has anyone seen it? I know it's really old.
