JTuck certainly deserves to be the highest paid kicker. He is a threat from 60 yards and in, not to mention the field position we get with his kickoffs. I read the other day that our opponents average field position following kickoffs was the 19 yard line. That's pretty cool.

No way they will lose Tucker. Worse case scenario they will franchise him next year. I bet the sticking point is Janakowski's goofy contract ( Thanks Oakland) which is way out of line with the league average for top kickers. If I am Tucker's agent the negotiations start at $4.5 million annually, which I am sure the Ravens will not go that high. A 4 year $14 million dollar deal seems fair enough.
