Best loss of the season. We moved up a few spots for the draft. Our needs are faster cover guys, better pass rushers, better offensive lineman who can block consistently, and receivers who can actually get open and catch the ball. Grab a few high dollar young players in free agency, cut some older and slower expensive players, and get more speed in the draft. Most importantly please get some creative coaches on offense. I am sick of watching 3rd down and 8 and we throw a 5 yard pass and punt. I am sick of watching our defense give a 6 yard cushion for easy completions. I am still a fan but come on man!!!! Bring Torrey Smith back, at least he could get open and catch the football and you can probably work out a good deal for him. Get the best offensive line players out there, pass protection and run blocking can make any offense look good even ours. See you all in the summer.

Yea, we just need a couple young play makers on each side of the ball. Torrey Smith can kick rocks, he isn't really that good. Why would you want bring back an average receiver, OBJ, Green, Bryant, we really need guys like them (Play Makers). We also need another corner that can play opposite
to Jimmy Smith.......................And the funny thing about Smith is that he took only 3 million dollars more (guaranteed money) to play for San Fran than Baltimore, It costs at least a million dollars more to live in San Francisco, Smith can kick rocks.

Agree Smith can stay in San fran

  2. The Ravens imop need to cut contracts that can save cap. If it's a player like Suggs or Dumervil then so be it. Ozzie needs to get playmakers, whether draft or free agency. We have a good nucleus but we need Playmakers. The draft we missed out on Dez really set us back as we traded back to get picks. Problem with that is no playmakers. Ozzie please do not draft any wideouts as it's clear you can't. Ozzie just draft line man on both sides of the ball. Brandon Williams not worth 60 plus million. We need Playmakers, Steve ball is in your hands make the change!

Note for next years draft Ravens you need to trade up. The drafts the last 5 Years have been average at best. We need playmakers game changers. On this current roster I can not name one person who could take over a game like Lewis and Reed or on offense like Jamal Lewis or Anquan the Playmaker Boldin. We have plenty of depth now we need to draft game changers. Time to trade up Oz because trading back has put this organization back a few years.

Mostly right, but how do we know we need to trade up if we don't know our draft position yet? Quite possibly could stay put and get that player without giving up picks. Too early to tell. I generally agree that we don't need to trade back.

I'm saying in past drafts we should have traded up.

10 games left of the regular season way, way too soon to be thinking about the draft.

Saying in general over the last few years we should have traded up for better talent then trade back. We have traded back to much

    Umm, no...

    1. The first rounds and in particular the top 10 have produced some major busts in the last few years. The drafts, in general, are as weak as they've ever been.

    2. If teams thought the same way that you do, then they wouldn't trade back with us anyway.

    3. Its kind of hard to argue that we have plenty of depth when you see certain areas like the secondary and OL struggle so badly when the starters go down injured.

We certainly need playmakers (every team does), but I'm certainly not trading quality depth possibilities to get it. Just doesn't make any sense from a roster construction standpoint.

Are you kidding me we need playmakers and the whole depth thing is what the Ravens like to say about trading back. They have drafted bad the last 5 years period. Zero playmakers and last I checked this is a passing league and we have a 120 million dollar QB with no playmakers.

Where is the instant coffee? We get a guy who could have went in the third round. Jack could have been our second pick and Correa in the 3rd.

No way he lasted that long Top 40 player on Kiper, MCShay and Mayock's list.....He goes a few picks after the Ravens picked him with all the other pass rushers

He would have fell close to end of second or beginning of the third round.

Chill guys. DeCosta said weeks ago the success is going to be determined by how they draft in the fourth round in this defensively deep draft. Well, they now have five picks in that round, more than enough to fill the remaining needs. They stayed away from someone with a "time bomb" knee and a few guys with character issues, and got guys high on their boards. Some of the best players in the NFL are found in the middle rounds every year and they only need to strike gold on a couple.

Decosta poured you a cup of 4th round Kool-Aid and drank it bottoms up. LMAO.

He also wanted instant coffee as well. Look like they put some night quill in that coffee.

i see us trading back a few spots if there are any takers and drafting stanley but it is sounding like there are many teams and analysts that believe stanley is better than tunsil so maybe we sit and #6 and take him especially with these tweets coming from monroe. who knows what monroe will do

God I hope that dosent happen

Many say that this year's draft will be won or lost in the 3-4-5th rounds. So, moving a few spots back (and almost surely still pick up a potential star there) for an extra mid-round pick may, actually, be a great move.

Yeah, we are all fans, so we would all love to see Ozzie pick at #6 - which is essentially a #4 pick for us, since we were not in the QB business anyway - but I would also welcome an extra 3rd rounder...

I don't want Stanley, rather trade up if need be to get Ramsey or draft Elliot.
