Doesn't matter what gets paid and when cap number is what we have against the cap and what we have to spend. Who cares when and what he got. Cap number affects what we do.

a lot of what they did was just convert some of his base salaries into signing bonuses and extend him further - again there wasnt much to cut and why would he take a straight paycut? he literally lowered his cap number for us last year why would he do it again?

yes that's all that matters - you suggested he take a paycut but only 6 million of that 21 million is negotiable this year - only 6 million - everything else is guaranteed and there is no way he should or would give up any of that 6 mill

Seems like a lot of bleeding in the FA period and the off season so far. We have a ton of holes (more then I can remember seeing us have in a long time). Zach Orr, Doom, Wagner, and SSS (retired). and that is just the start of this).

I hope we make some moves to build our team and not just band-aids. We are leaking blood and we are going to need a serious infusion here soon.

We need some help and while I am thankful for a great draft class coming up. I am also aware that we will need more then what we will get in the draft.

We need an OL, OLB, ILB, CB, WR, FS, RB and possibly DL help. - TBH we probably need more then one CB and more then one WR... that puts us at 9 positions needed with 7 draft picks.... even if we hit a home run in the draft... finding more then 4 immediate starters is just not realistic.

I hope we make some legit moves in FA... Torrey would be nice but he is truly a Band-Aid not a fix! C'mon Ozzie lets get this going.... I seeing you clear money...

Now lets invest in some young impact players!

Ravens need to sign Brandon W and switch to 4 lineman and 3 LB's. We have a lot of young lineman and we should use that and we wouldn't have to find a replacement for Ore.

Ozzie's time has past time for some new blood, drafts have been horrific and over paying for some of our guys. Flacco is robbing this organization. I hope next year some how we can get out of his contract. Time for an over haul. 4-12 next year and possibly picking top 5 next year

Are you saying he gave no effort when he was in Baltimore? If so, you're absolutely wrong. I clearly remember he gave 100% on the same day that he found out his brother died. He's one of only two Ravens' receivers who have hauled in over 10 TDs in a season. I could go on and on about what he did for the community when he was here. Forget about his stats in SF. I honestly believe that being back with this team would be good for both the Ravens and Baltimore.

He's average at best, we need to up grade not go backwards.

Drop Wallace and sign Smith and Aiken. Smith, Perriman, Aiken and camp would be an above avg receiving corp. Throw in our TE group and Flacco has some weapons. Are main concern is getting a solid offensive line to block for Flacco and i guarantee that these guys can get it done.

Smith couldn't get it done when we played New England, what makes you think he can do it now!

I wonder how many years fans will say that we will be picking in the top 5 until it actually comes true. Its like watching a blind squirrel. Whiff on it every single year.

Heck, two years ago we had half our team on IR including our franchise QB, and we STILL didn't even pick in the top 5.

Ozzie has lost his mojo giving west a tender of 2 million. We need to rebuild and cut as much as we can. This team needs an over haul starting at the top!!!!

We saved 5 million and spent 2 of it on West, what are we doing!!!!!!

I hope when DeCosta takes over next year he cleans house. The ravens will try to bandaid this team but in the end 5-11 or 4-12 next year. Team lacks Playmakers and we aren't buying any so this team looks bad next year. I use to be a Flacco supporter but he is killing the team with his cap number.

Flacco is killing this team, he's not Elite and top 15 at best. Flacco you need to take a pay cut or the Ravens need to let you go. We are losing to much talent!!!!
