he's rated a 6th round but grabbed early based on athleticism and need to replace josh norman...this guy had an 11'00 Broad jump, 4.45 dash.. and 4.21 Short shuttle and a 6.91 3-cone, 37 vertical at 6'1 211lbs

wow sean davis to the steelers...now i'm mad...damn it korea...err um... i mean correa lol jk
Hey we passed on Derrick henry to get him so i'm ticked about that but as far as talent i think we got a pretty good OLB for a second round..not a reach but not a steal...
Browns - ILB Myles jack
Titans- DE Kevin Dodd
Cowboys -CB Mackenzie Alexander
Chargers- FS T.J. Green
Ravens - CB Sean Davis / HB Derrick Henry / OT Jason Spriggs

Derrick Henry or Myles Jack
we should trade up now to get derrick henry

Couldn't have been said any better than that...lol
There you have it. I know now, well before the draft Joey Bosa will not be our pick no matter who else is available or not. Why you may ask? Peter King the great Ravens contrarian has predicted that Bosa will be a Raven! Every time Peter King utters something and the Ravens in the same breath, that something has zero probability of happening period!
lmao
If i'm ozzie Newsome i would draft HB Derrick Henry and DT Cyrus Jones...
7 hours ago, beanfigger said:I'm saying that committees and injury replacements tend to lead their teams to wins and playoff success more often than star backs. Lynch is the only star back to lead his offense on a recent Super Bowl champion, and he, again, was a free agent for a team that wisely spent their top draft picks on other positions. And Bell really seems to be the only star back on a team with real championship hopes right now, and the team still makes the playoffs and wins a postseason game in a year where he barely played.
This isn't even going into the fact that drafting a RB high leads to having a star. The success rate for highly drafted RBs seems very low (0% in the top six, and maybe one, Gurley, in the top ten) since AP in 2007. Going back further, there aren't any other success stories for backs drafted this high all the way to Jamal Lewis.
So, I'm saying drafting a back this high is higher risk than other positions. And I'm also stating that even if Elliot becomes a star, which I have stated I believe is a good chance, the reward is not worth it because team success is not dependent on a star back. Rushing success isn't even dependent on that.
Those are my points boiled down. I think Elliot is a high, unnecessary risk for us, but if we were to draft him, I would love him and root for him and hope that our team's perceived lack of huge needs means his success will go hand-in-hand with our team's success, against all odds.
true i personally like a committee of three HB'swith 1 Premier HB ....I say grab a big bruising back that wears down a defense like a leveon bell, Jerome Bettis or Brandon jacobs.. so if we get derrick henry we can Maximize all dimensions of running...Power, speed, agile, and elusiveness (D, Henry, J. Forsett, J. Allen.)

We're playing at least 50% or more of our schemes in a nickel or dime coverage, which means at least 5 DBs, so the traditional schemes don't matter as much.
If anything, I'd argue its less incentive to target somebody like a inside linebacker early in the draft, because we should be seeing less and less two ILB formations.
true but i think if some one in the NFL was Innovative towards a 3-4 defense by adopting a tamp 2 like ILB's then we could see something pretty cool.. The OLB would be tall and fast like 6'6 230 type frame.... this would introduce a new type of 3-4 scheme that could match spread quick tempo offenses.... would be cool to see that imo...
Ezekiel Elliott is my prediction. That's a weapon Ozzie won't pass up.
You know, I have debated this in my mind. I know if we don't select him, we will regret it in 5 yrs when he's a Pro bowl regular. He is clearly a game changer and would carry us to many wins. However, our defense is to depleted, and unfortunately, we need to add there.
so we draft neef over best player available ? i would only draft two players at 6 which are E. Elliot and L. Floyd or maybe Ramsey if some how he fell which highly doubt...95% chance he is gone by then
..
guy ran a 4.37 40 yard dash with a broken foot wth ? lol

if it's Julio Jones then yes...
ok we will see draft day ...lol if i'm wrong i'll be here...

1. QB Jared goff Rams
2. DB Jalen Ramsey Eagles ( the trade up was for him not a QB... why else sign S. Bradford to a two year 36mil ? its a smokescreen based off the rams trade)
3. OT Larmy Tunsil Chargers
4. QB Carson Wentz 49ers trade up (when is the last time Chip Kelly or 49ers Drafted a 1st round QB ? only Alex smith? not too bad imo)
5. DE Joey Bosa Jaguars
6. QB Paxton Lynch Jets Trade up
7.RB Ezkiel Elliott Cowboys
8. OT Ronnie Staley Browns
9. CB Vernon Hargreaves Bucs
10. LB Myles Jack

na trust me if you watched draft day the movie you'll understand that it's a way of messing up evereone's( 31 other NFL teams) plans....like mike tyson say ever1 has a plan until they get hit in the mouth...in the movie the browns we able to get two Top 10 picks in the first round..not saying thats the exact result but did you notice how the eagles traded twice? with out Chip kelly? how many players did they cut after chip kelly's depature?

This far away from the time of the injury he should not be dealing with such a severe degeneration of his knee unless it is very problematic. If he is off the board for Jacksonville and us, then we could be left choosing between Stanley and buckner
i say we should draft Indiana OT jason spriggs over any OT in the draft..imo he is the best long term , not as polished as Tunsil and R. Stanley but better long term... Trade down with the jets ... Paxton lynch could be gone by 7 with the 49ers so that would push the jets to move up and us to move down to 20 with an additional almost guaranteed future 1st round and or 2016 2nd round 51st pick...think about it... we still grab a need and a possible future elite Pro Bowl LT who i say will be the best OT in the class in 2-3 years ...

-I like the WR Mike Thomas from Miss
-I also like DeAndre Houston Carson but he's on the rise lately. Was a 5-6th round pick earlier now I see some people have him late 3th early 4th.
-I really like Tavon Young but I think he ends up in the 4th with one of our comp pick.I really see him in the Ravens unifom
-Adam Gotsis, will end up like in the 4th... but he's a very SOLID NFL Starter. Could go as high as late 2nd.
-Romeo Okwara (late rounds or undrafted)... with proper coaching could be good. fluid in his mouvements but bad technique.
-Antonio Morrisson... talented player. Injuries a lot. maybe end up in the 6th round..
- Nick Vigil.... I think some teams will give him his shot sooner than later... late 4th something like that with the new style of players
- Nate Sudfield, Jacoby Brissett..... love them 2 as back up roles for 3 years.
- Seumalo, if he ends up after the 5th round he's a STEAL. I think he could go as high as early 3rd
- Temarrick Hemingway TE, beat the odds every time... nice project in the 6th rounds
- OT Pearce Slater... nice project could be Guard/Right Tackle. Needs coaching a LOT but athetic and size specimen
Nate Studfield compares to a poor mans Big Ben... Nick Vigil is a monster, if we get him i'd be really happy..
