  1. "Crazy, Stupid, Love" was actually a pretty good movie. Ryan Gosling and Steve Carell made a nice combo.

I've been meaning to see that! I've heard good things about it. I watched some stupid movie called Grace on FEARnet. I don't think I've ever seen a movie with absolutely zero laughs besides that, and Human Centipede 2. Just both, really weird flicks.

  2. I'm pretty sure that movie was ruined before it was ever made. I can't believe they are going to do a sequel. If you think Maya was the only thing stopping that movie from even being good......I don't even know what to say.

I know.. It was stupid. Madison Riley is amazing though. She pretty much saved it for a solid five minutes.

  3. Now I know why you hate Maya Rudolph: you have a horrible taste in movies

Because I liked Hostel lol? She single-handedly ruined Grown Ups, Brides Maids and the potentially entertaining Up All Night television show. She's lucky I can't stand Christina Applegate either. If it wasn't for Maya Rudolph though, Whitney Cummings would be my most disliked actress ever.

On another note, The Sitter was horrendous. Some parts funny, most parts stupid.

  4. So I was watching Grown Ups until Maya Rudolph showed her face in it, so I had to turn it off. Watched the first Hostel again a couple nights ago. Love that movie. I've never seen Gladiator, so my dad made me watch it last night. It was an amazing movie. The Descendants was so-so. I'd wait for it to be released on video. Looking forward to Ghost Protocol. Can't wait for The Devil Inside.

  5. Bad guess, lol. I was ticked off at first because of the stereotypical cast but it's a good one if you, like me, enjoyed the first. Jon will be along soon to tell you the foreign film it was based on is better, lol.

I just finished watching it. I liked the first one better..

  6. Thank you!

What site do you use for your reviews? Ever use rotten tomatoes or Yahoo! Movies?

I live in Sacramento so I always look at the "Friday Ticket" that they have to offer in the Sacramento Bee, which has reviews from the top dogs across the nation. I also look at Rotten Tomatoes, IMDb and Fandango to see what the fans say.

  7. Let us know how it is!!

    Will do partner :)

See it for yourself and be your own critic. Don't let someone else's opinion/review stop you from seeing a movie you wanted to see.

I've done this too many times, and I've wasted a lot of money. I'm one of those people that judges movies based on how many stars it got. 2 is my limit. I will not go and see a movie that got 1 or 1.5 stars
