Nope, it was only nommed for sound editing. I was very surprised and annoyed that Albert Brooks didn't get a nom for Supporting Actor,he was great.

Sound editing is understandable. The album was excellent. It's a shame nobody was nominated though

Actually, both Hugo and The Artist are among my favorites of the year. I just said The Artist was overrated because it seems to be the front runner to win BP and at the top of a lot of best of lists. Haven't seen Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close yet, but I plan to soon. I liked the novel and I like the director, but the trailers don't look great and it's gotten mixed reviews, so I'm not expecting much.

For me, the worst BP nominees are The Help and War Horse. Both extremely overrated and it's disgusting that stuff like Drive ( my favorite of the year), 50/50 (2nd favorite), Warrior and Dragon Tattoo get left off the list and movies like those get on. My actual least favorite of the nominees is Tree Of Life, which was the most boring movie I've seen since the last Mallick movie I saw, but I can at least give that credit for being very well made, and beautifully shot.

Was Ryan Gosling nominated for anything in Drive? That movie has to win something.

I'm not saying they were Oscar worthy, but both provided some good laughs here and there. Horrible Bosses and Hall Pass make those two Adam Sandler movies look excellent though.

I've never seen Traffic, and the Ocean 11 movies were boring in my opinion. But I was really young when I saw them though

I just saw the trailer for yet ANOTHER Resident Evil movie. I love zombie apocalypse scenarios as much (if not more) than the next person, but they need to stop making Resident Evil movies. I'd love it if it was her against the Umbrella corporation and the undead (preferably just the undead), but there are too many whacked out monsters. I understand the games are pretty much the same, but they should have stopped after the 2nd or 3rd game and aboutt he same with the movies. You can't even say the horse is dead now. It's reanimated into a zombie horse, killed again and beaten into even more of a pulp. And now you have all these weird clones so if someone dies in the movie, you'll be sad for a moment and then they'll introduce their clone. The only positive thing that could come out of this movie is they're bringing back Michelle Rodriguez. I'll probably get it on netflix when it comes out on dvd, just praying that they finally decided to end the series.

Milla Jovovich just needs to stop acting in general and find a new hobby. How she's even still in the business, I'll never know
