  1. Kyle could be that missing pieces, you add in both our starters staying healthy, along with our improved offense, you have a dangerous team right here that could really challenge for the SB this year. I am thinking Broncos are gonna be in for a possible blow out if this team comes together early.
  2. The sneaky long striding speed of this guy is going to really mess up a DC's day. At the combine he ran a 40 time faster then that of a good amount of smaller WR's then him. His time of 4.46 is 0.01 slower then Davante Parker, and overall faster then that of Dukes Jamison Crowder and ECU's Justin Hardy. I would risk putting this guy on the 53 man roster just because teams like SD, NE, PIT, and DET would love to have WR like this they can just take down field on a rainbow bomb to the corner of the end zone. What I also like about this guy is that he is still 240lbs!? 30 lbs heavier then our biggest CB jimmy smith. That means more than likely your looking at a lot of LB and S matchups potentially and with his speed, its a done deal off the line of scrimmage. Also, at 240, you basically have a secondary FB out there in the slot or outside which will make those running lanes a little less crowded this year. Nothing helps a running attack like big bodied and blocking capable receivers. Max Williams, Gilmore, Boyle, Waller, Brown, and Brashad can all use their size to really dominate over smaller corners in the running game which should open up down field for some long bomb scores. If Williams and Waller can both manage to get on the field for some serious snaps during the regular season, Ravens offense could be the most dangerous its ever been....
  3. The sad part was that the QB that was throwing to him in college was more RB/CB/WR type player then actual QB. Someone with Flacco's status and ability to really get the ball to his Wr's with touch and precision will really bring out the best in Waller. Waller Brown Williams Breshad = young stable of studs. You add in Boyle and Worthy and Flacco has more than enough weapons to not just get past 4k yards but will rip defenses apart this year. The avg DB in the AFC North is 5'11-6ft. Will Waller taking away teams tallest DB, you leave some advantages for Brown, Brashad, and even SSS...
  4. True, and tbh we never really gave Tommy Streeter a chance at WR. Would have loved to had seen more of him in the preseason.
  5. Plays like this is what makes me think he could have a future with this team: https://youtu.be/hsmFcN75KmI?t=1h3m27s
  6. Imagine a 6'6 240lbs WR, a 6'2 speedster, a 6'4 big bodied TE, along with Marlon and Aiken and you have some serious help in the passing game as well as some decent blocking downfield. Not

  8. Waller looks to be part of a big man WR corps that may dominate in the AFC north this year. Marc seems to see a real chance of taking off with his passing game from chi town. Fact is, Flacco is much better than Cutler and much more accurate down field, given our WR's ability to be solid pass catchers, Flacco will not only pass 4k yards and 20+ TDs this but will completely humiliate a handful of teams defenses given the balance they now have on offense once the rookies get into the flow of things. Hands aside, Breshad will cause some PI's with his speed regardless, Maxx Williams will draw attention in the middle and up the seam, allowing a player like Waller a lot of one on one chances against shorter DB's. With his ability to out jump the DB and speed to threaten vertically, and not to mention at 233lbs, Waller will have the ability to block out some LB's with the back should pass that Flacco loves to do. If Waller can master the 1 on 1 battles he will see in the pro's, you're not just talking about a role player, he could be the reason why we are knocking on the door of the SB again. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:12773572
  9. Let me restate, I think he's range of success should be ranged anywhere from Brandon Marshall to Tommy Street as it pertains to big WRs. I think he has a chance to be a solid #2 WR with a year to perfect his route running and chemistry with Flacco. and besides, they have to see what he can do with a 4.4 40 time....
  10. I know the ceiling is pretty low for this guy but if he can show some potential look out. Good luck to any 5'10 DB trying to defend a back shoulder pass from Flacco to this guy....
  11. marc seems to do some of his best work in the shotgun, I think Flacco could really do well in an offense that may bring in bigger WR's and also allows him to see more of the field( like Brady in those 5 WR plays). I think with an arm like that, giving flacco a full look of the field and ability to really let it go with more WR on the field could really help the offense.

  13. I know John said the offense wasnt gonna change much from when Gary was here but that doesnt mean the type of players may not change. I can see us drafting more big bodied receivers like the ones he had back in Chi. we may get a speed guy to stretch the field but I can see us getting a big WR sometime during the draft to go along with Brown, and Aiken.
  14. I would love to keep both but in the end you have to be prepared to replace starting talent. Maybe Oz throws us a curve ball in the 2-3 round and picks up a G or wait later in the draft and pick up a OT we can convert to OG.
  15. I wonder if theres any chance we see Bowe and Johnson in purple next season. Would cut down the need on WR and possible draft a later guy if Strong or Smith isnt available.
  16. Well Flacco loves his TE's and having another TE that can move into the slot and maybe even on the outside sets up some serious match up problems with his size and speed.
  17. Having Cromartie would help mentor wise to Jimmy as well as give Suggs and Doom time to get to the QB. I would still draft a CB in the later rounds(Ladarious Gunter) so that they can sit in the wings and learn. Having another long press CB to pick up when Cromartie departs would be the perfect transition.
  18. Only way I could see him back on our team is if he could be an effective OG. Gets beat too often by speed rushers. Still remember all those flags he got us...
  19. I think OZ knew what they were doing when they let him go, that money just really made his head too big. Honestly Leon Hall or Joseph from the Texans would be a decent stop gap option to pair with Jimmy until our future drafted CB can catch up would be the best case option if Webb doesnt makes the cut.
  20. that would help lower his market price of course. That and the fact Ravens are much better at controlling players with off the field issues(this year aside of course).....
  21. A young CB like Ladarius Gunter or (hopefully) Rollins would soften the blow if Webb wasnt an option in 2015.
  22. Sure money is a big thing but Marshall is 30, his replacement is already there in Jeffery, and he was jettisoned before from Devner for his attitude and now may be on the ways out anyway due to identical reasons. Due to potential character concerns and age, and the fact were close to another title, we may be able to get him in for 8.5(with incentives of course).
  23. Marshall would be the type of big size WR we need just not sure if we would pull the trigger. To Marshall I would not see why it would not be attractive to him, were on the cusp of another title and Joe has a rocket arm, hope it happens.
  24. Its like Kubiaks running system, its not the back, its the system the back runs. For all the DC's we run through, they all don't become HCs for nothing right???
  25. yeah, they may drop Cary Williams, seems he never lived up to billing after leaving.
