Don't watch much college ball but my boy said he's a good pick and hearing good things on the boards.  Holo g he can be an immediate upgrade on the line.  We need to get back to bullying guys upfront.  Don't see that being a problem on the other side.

Did you guys appreciate the Patriots when they didn't report who was eligible in our last playoff game and humiliated us on the way to the Super Bowl?  Go to a Steelers game in Pittsburgh when we were good with a Ravens jersey on and see how much they appreciate you.  Man reddit can't be worse than this forum. 

I actually did.  Going into that game, if I told you we get into a shoot out and hold our own, would you have believed me?  Teams aside, that was a great game.  Hated we had to be on the losing end, but it is what it is.  BB when it's all said and done, will most likely be regarded as the greatest coach of all time and that game is just more proof.  If we would've pulled off some moves like that, I doubt Ravens fans would be as salty, even though I think the refs didn't handle the situation properly.

As far as the Steelers go, they better goddam respect us.  In our worse season in 9 years, we were still able to sweep them.  And as bad as we were at times last year, still took them damn near the whole game to put us away for the division.

I watched more bowser tape and i'm not sure about him...he lacks instincts and seems too raw for a 2nd round pick. 

After watching more film of Lattimore, Sidney Jones and conely I really wish i could speak with harbs and ozzie and ask them to explain how humphrey was far and away a better corner than the last two

 

Also, not picking OJ howard or Rueben Foster is basically a mistake. The latter is AT LEAST bobby wagner and OJ howard is as polished of a TE i've seen in years in both the receiving and running game.

 

While humphrey is nowhere near the mistake elam was, he and bowser will not be pro bowl players. thats my guess. I think Humphrey will have good and bad moments and will be a solid corner .

I think the guys that ends up being our best player this year are Wormley, T.Williams and Siragusa.

 

I think Marlon works out well for us.  With that said, Lattimore wasn't even available when we picked.  When picking personnel, I'm going CB over ILB almost every time, unless I'm certain we have an all pro type of player.  Won't speak on Bowser, but the little I have seen, I think he can be a great piece if used correctly and coached properly.  They need to know what they want to do with him, and not switch him around ala Kruger and McPhee.

Jimmy has never been to a pro bowl.  Orr had an amazing season and he didn't reach the pro bowl either even while being acknowledged as an All Pro.  I choose not to use that as a measuring stick for players.  Same as Bowser, with proper coaching, he should excel here.  Let's see how it works out. While I wouldn't have mind taking OJ, need at cb was more important, especially with 6 TEs currently on the roster.

I think having Humphrey, Young and Jefferson will mean not having to sweat the secondary much, down the line.

I know how you feel.  You don't want them to do well, but if they don't the match up means nothing.  Unfortunately, we need them and even if they don't admit it, they need us.  It's like Batman and the Joker.

Lastly, they know what we've added.  Teams might not respect our offense, but I will guarantee a few are worried about having to face our defense.  Another CB and two pass rushers... Christmas came early.  Something tells me we might go offense next draft...

Agree with the run defender part.  Said it earlier, I'll take someone who can only rush the passer.  The run defense is just goddam fine.  We lack guys who apply heat.

We probably win the Raiders, Jets and Pitt game if we have another competent outside CB.  Hell probably also win Giants if Jimmy doesn't get hurt that game.  One cb shouldn't affect a record the much, but for our defense it did.  The top 10 number was deceiving by seasons end.  It was credit built up from earlier because everything fell apart the last 4-6 games.
