  1. We drafted Perriman and Stanley with our last 2 1s, one of which was a top 10 pick. What did the offense do last season? If you are going to demand something from one side at least be consistent. You claimed when picks were going to the defensive side they should improve. A lot has been sent the offense way and NOTHING. And of course the defense was going to get more picks because when the players were selected they had taken a bigger hit on that side after the sb. What do you qualify as top picks?
  2. There arent simple stats or metric you can use to just say that makes his play worth it. Anyone with sense should know that, but we all see the performances he's put up lately. Do you think he's worth it, playing at the level he's been since the deal? He's had one good year with an OC who made James Hurst not look terrible.
  3. I have absolutely no problem investing in the offense if they will get the job done, but there needs to be some semblance of a defense if a championship is the goal. And recently the FO gas been putting work in on offense. Id live a pass rusher or cb with our first pick, but have no provlem with it going to OL or a wr we think will actually come in and produce.
  4. This. People think whenever you criticize him its hate. The realistic ones know we're stuck and I dont necessarily mean that in a bad way. People just want more return on investment.
  5. Very understandable. Nothing wring with what you just said, but many seem to only see things as black or white here.
  6. It's funny because everyone here is open to discussing said players pay in comparison to others around the league... UNTIL we get to this point.
  7. Yea that Pees prevent when he sent multiple heat and we got absolutely no pressure on those final drives against Pit. You want to see less collapses, how about the offense do their job as well and keep scoring. Not one or 2 drives that are gifted, but sustain drives and get tds. Also helpful if you do it for more than a quarter or quarter and a half. But that seems to be crazy talk around here... And they didnt show up for the most part? This convo done if you're spewing non sense like that.
  8. Exactly. I fully acknowledge yhey fell apart the last 4-6 weeks, but do people think he somehow told the DL to stop defending the run? Without the defense we most likely start 0-6 against some very suspect competition.
  9. You people seem to have no understanding of how ugly these games would be if the defense was as bad as the offense all season. Kool tho...
  10. I just don't see the team keeping him at his current price.
  11. It wouldn't surprise me if Pitta was cut.
  12. I can almost guarantee everytime the offense even sniffed 30 it was becuase the defense gave them extra possesions woth excellent field position, which is kind of ironic.. also, it seems a lot of the efforts recently have been made to help the offense yet again, they struggled. Complain about the defense all you want, but offense has been atrocious 3 of the four years since Joe was re-signed.
  13. All these offensive guys available and we stick with Marty... brilliant. The Flacco squad clamors for consistency. Here you go, I guess.
  14. With a full off season i think he can be something special. Anyone with eyes should see the potential.
  15. Id say we didnt see much of Moore, but Perriman and Waller, definitely.
  16. Regardless of how bad any player performs, I never think they should take a cut if they dont have to. NFL contracts are basically written on toilet paper. Get it while you can because a team will discard you the second you aren't valuable to them.
  17. I was talking about Marlon Brown. Pretty sure you quoted the wrong guy.
  18. Just wave the white flag...
  19. Good for him to still find work...
  20. Gotcha... Trust me, I hate giving them credit, but it is what it is.
  21. Without looking it up, I'm guessing that Gronk is the highest drafted player on the Pats offense. The rest of his guys are "castoffs" and Bennett. The excel because of a great scheme, one of the greatest HC and one of the best qbs of all time. Blount was in Pit, cut, then won a SB. Edelman is a good wr, but I don't think he has the same success elsewhere.
  22. I'm willing to bet the complaints here would be about lack of weapons with the same personnel here. Joe is no Brady, Marty is no Josh and Harbaugh sure as hell ain't no Belicheck.
  23. How dare you say a qb hits his targets in stride therefore making the wrs job easier! Or how could you ask a vet to read defenses and adjust.
  24. ...but Julio and Calvin are the only reason Stafford and Ryan look good. Brady is all scheme and Rodgers is a 'bum" without Nelson. Payton made Brees.
  25. IN an ideal world we clean out the Broncos staff on O and D... Won't mean much without a good rusher though.
