  1. Not even going to bother retyping all that... Is anyone else having problems when they quote people? And Decker's softer than Drake petting kittens under a rainbow. Hell no I don't want him on this team.
  2. No trade pieces and Dolans an idiot. I'm just happy Shump is still on the team.
  3. NO. The games are usually garbage. There is maybe 2-3 good TNF games a season counting the Thanksgiving games.
  4. He has a very good case for wr pay. They usually use the amount of snaps played. That was the problem with Suggs original contract. Couldn't decide if to pay him at OLB or DE.
  5. In theory yes, but the franchise tag only qualifies you as a WR. So if he holds out, he's getting top WR money, regardless of where he was on the field at the position. That gives him all the leverage. If the team tries to pay him as a a slot wr, he's getting years worth of slot money with the tag.
  6. Exactly. I'll put like this as well, if Flacco decides he doesn't want to renegotiate, that's on the team. Football careers are to short to sacrifice your earning potential for a team that most likely doesn't care what happens when you're off the team. I feel he will be inclined to, cause if he does I'm pretty sure the money is pushed up front. You're expected to honor your contract, but when the team changes their mind, they are able to do what they want as far as cutting or redoing the deal.
  7. The team gave him that deal. Football is a business. He has his ring, some All Pro selections and a few pro bowls. Time to secure your financial future. He played out his rookie contract when was outperforming it. Now he's under performing and he should give back, why? I'm just hoping we don't overpay Dennis. If he wants to hold out, let him get his money elsewhere. He's older and deserves his first pay day, so I'm not mad. As far as I'm concerned, Monroe is more important. Lock him up to have some stability on the o-line. If Joe cries about it, ask him if he'd rather have his friend or decent protection. Use the pick on a TE and trade up from the 2nd pick for another WR. I think this is the draft where the team should be aggressive to fix our anemic offense. Too many weapons to not try and build up for cheap.
  8. What this guy said.
  9. The only problem I have with this is the holding situation, which seems small, but makes a big difference. Would like to see this approach made though. If McClain and Koch are cut, doesn't that save about 3-3.5 million(I think we should keep Leach)?
  10. Way too long if you ask me. Ideal contract to me is 3 years.
  11. Agree x10Preston was right by the way to all who doubted him.
  12. I could easily see the team delaying the announcement or extension to try and prove Preston wrong if it was actually happening.
  13. I think Monroe will be perfect for Kubiaks system. Retaining him keeps stability on the line. As far as I'm concerned, he's more important to the team than Pitta. He affects the run and pass game. He needs to be the #1 priority. Something Preston said makes sense. The faster the Suggs situation is settled, we should have a clearer idea of what's happening with the other pieces.
  14. Too much money from another team. This is the most concerning move. If he can't be re-signed at a reasonable cost this team's in trouble. Might also force our hand with Suggs' contract as well if something isn't worked out soon. I think it would be in the teams best interest to try and get something done before FA starts, if possible.
  15. Giants, Raiders, Broncos could go after him, Rams, Dolphins and maybe the Bills, just off the top. There's also the Jags... hahaha Teams need tackles. I'm not even going to stress this. What happens happens and I know a decent team will be fielded by the time the season starts.
  16. Might be stupid, but what about trying to get Blackmon to a cheap contract? I forgot all about him, but he was playing well before the suspension. I can't really fault him. The Jaguars are brown water trash. Just wondering what people would be thinking about that. Anyway, Mathews and Evans are the guys I'm hoping we could bring in depending on the moves made. I honestly hope we stay away from the FA wr pool and just draft our guys and try to groom them with the new coach. I doubt we are able to get Watkins, unless Ozzie is feeling ballsy this draft and decides to get real aggressive, which I hope he does. I want a big bodied, strong wr who will go up for the ball, but we'll see what happens.
  17. Good ol reliable Playoff Peyton. Even the SB he won, people question if he deserved the SB MVP. Let's be very clear about how bad that Bears offense was. Someone name me 3 starters on that offense and I'll let you use Rex Grossman as 1. I said this somewhere else, but I was so happy to see those bs receiver screens shut down, as well as those cheap pick routes. I've said all season, if you get physical with the Broncos receivers, minus D Thomas, they will begin to crumble and even he looked a little phased around the 2nd-3rd quarter. Seattle set the tone EARLY. Was happy the right person got MVP. It would've been a robbery if someone on the defense didn't get it. He obviously deserved it and the real MVP award should be given to the actual most valuable player. Not the just the player with the best stats. Brett Favre looks like him and Ed Reed go collecting cans and asking for spare change in the off season.
  18. In Suggs' defense, he waited til mid season to get fat.
  19. Missed this earlier because I avoided all pre game stuff, but found it funny http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1945604-frank-caliendo-mocks-nfl-players-and-analysts-in-richard-sherman-30-for-30. Caliendo doing a Sherman 30 for 30
  20. Peytons the GREATEST
  21. I could actually see Suggs' fitting in nicely in Oakland. Realistically would like to just extend him and lower the cap hit. I think the neck injury might've affected him or maybe he just got lazy as the season went on. I don't see how someones play just drops of that drastically for no reason.
  22. As time progresses who knows how cold it might end up. The game starts late and half time is extended for the game. It's not just the cold, but the winds of the stadium as well. I'm rooting for the Seahawks to win. Pete Carroll could hang that over Jim and Sherman could obviously hang that over Kaeps head. Would be funny if the Broncos lose cause of a Welker drop.
  23. Those have to be cries of desperation. They must be feeling it over there. WAMP WAMP
  24. I can guarantee you that the people who don't like Flacco don't think Harbaugh is the reason for our success. They will attribute it to a good core team that was hampered by injuries the year before Harbaugh was made HC and I think they have a slight case for that, as well as a crucial draft by Ozzie in 08, where he landed a "franchise qb" and rb, depending on your definition. You happen to have a link to that Browns forum?
