  1. Such a gentleman. Thanks!
  2. You're right. Stupid you. All good though.
  3. This.
  4. I'm right out of Broward so its a bit different.
  5. Funny you say that. My friend and I have basically said its Giants or Packers SB to lose. Was hoping they wouldn't have to meet until NFC championship, but it is what it is. Only "comp" you really have is Steelers and Chiefs, but would've been interesting if Carr was never hurt.
  6. Maybe your vet qb shouldnt be throwing ints right into defenders hands. The qb almost always has a choice to change the play from what he sees.
  7. Live in South FL. Dolphins fans feeling themselves WAY too much. Don't mind Steelers this week to remind them who they are.
  8. Which teams worry you in both conferences? No need to name the Giants either...
  9. Ideal scenario.
  10. So then both of you must blame Flacco for the loss to the Pats 2 years ago right? Only the end matters, or something... Sorry @rmcjacket23... quoted wrong person.
  11. Everyone with sense knows he was inefficient. The point everyone is trying to make is that were stick with him, whether you like it or not. Best chance is to put the best team around him, which would help your cause for when he is replaced. Win win. Next topic.
  12. Has pass rush and cb really been addressed? Thats like saying OL and wr are addressed because we have Wallace, Perriman and Lewis. Just cause there are bodies there, doesn't mean they are good.
  13. I would have been in that crowd if we beat the Bengals... but I've seen someone say they'd still want Harbaugh fired if we won another SB.
  14. It's not one or the other. Could be bad players and bad development but can you sit her and say Brown, Elam and Simon have really contributed? The offense saw the least turnover after the sb, so MAYBE, that had something to do with seeing more attention. After the 07 season, take a wild guess where most of the draft attention was spent and then tell me how many top 10 units we ever had? Defense shouldn't be giving up a td in end of game situations. Offense shouldn't be throwing picks on its last possession of a playoff game. That also doesn't mean you cant say offense should show up or defense shouldn't be giving up 14 points leads. It doesn't always have to be 1 way or the other. Most people dont care if Pees is fired from what I've seen, but I've seen games where he does exactly what fans beg for, and they still complain when we lose. That or the style of play being asked for is used and HUGE chunks are given up.
  15. This is what I was saying. Too many things happened in a short period of time which hurt the team. Rice, Webb, Flacco, Pitta, Monroe and Smith all re-signed within a 2 years, I think, of each other while sustaining injuries... or miscellaneous... Players retiring, bad drafts and I guess it's the perfect storm, even though I still think the team should play better.
  16. Was looking at drafts and the teams recent history isn't much to write home about. Combine that with the fact the people we have hit on aren't re-signed and it's easy to understand why we've been somewhat stagnant. Bad drafts, bad contracts with bad injuries all seemed to happen right at a veteran purge/retirement phase.
  17. Gotta blame someone...
  18. And if Matt Ryan had our defenses he might have a couple of rings. If Peyton was on the Pats maybe he doesn't only get 2. The what if game gets us no where. Are you going to sit and make an excuse for every qb who has failed then?
  19. Someone is past 50%... Baseball was first thing that popped into my head after submitting.. Nice touch with weatherman.
  20. Since when the hell is being good at your job 50% of the time good? Again, people will say Pees collapses in the 4th quarter. 3/4 = 75% but people here don't get the frustration with Joe. LMAO.
  21. I would assume he was traded here with the understanding he would get a new contract. That was the whole reason the Cards traded him because he wasn't getting a new deal with them. If the teams willing to pay you around what you want, why would you move again?
  22. Appreciate the negs. Bask in it.
  23. To top off this argument, in each of the drafts since 2013, not counting 16, most of the players kept from each draft have been on the offensive side of the ball. From 2013, the only production we saw was from Williams. It's very likely none of the top 4 picks from that draft will even be on this team next year with 2 already gone and one a bust who's here cause of lack of depth.
  24. Thats not my point. Why is it the defensive rookies are expected to come in and be all Pros but not the other side of the ball where the rules are catered to help you. And yes he played great but what were the results? The offense was still streaky at best.
