  1. I'm pretty sure EVERYONE expected offense with 3/4 first picks, with the expectation that the only one not spent on offense would be a safety. I'm not going to lie, still a little pissed, but we'll see how it works out. All that wr talent gone.
  2. It's funny isn't it. Cause we're called bad fans or blind haters when mentioning his imperfections, but now I bet the situation will be considered different. Anyway, after looking at someone mentioning the Rams wanting to trade back if Martin was still available I realized something. The last time the Cowboys took someone we were considering, we got a defender with our next pick who's no longer in the league, an inconsistent, stone handed TE in the third and a disappointing tackle in the 2nd....
  3. The backs are most concerning to me. Think the line holds up with Kubiaks system. Worried slightly about rt though.
  4. Line, backs or both?
  5. I think top 5 as well. My reasoning is mostly due to an improved offense not leaving them out to dry. Add in another year to grow since so many people were new and I feel they click. I feel If the offense had even been middle of the pack the defense would've easily cracked top 10.
  6. I hate that song. They play it all over NFLN, ESPN and the damn headphone commercial.
  7. I just paged my friend to ask him. He said no, they're outdated.
  8. I lost some respect when Ray said he could see himself as a Cowboy or something like that. Ray was also on 2nd contract though and Reed was obviously at the twilight of his career. There was no fall back or escape plan if Flacco didn't resign, unless we thought TT could be our RG3. There is also the fact we were picking at 32 with no good qbs coming out. Even if there was, the amount to move up would've crippled us.
  9. Thats my mistake then. I thought the numbers were MUCH closer. And qb is different from other positions.
  10. I've never argued the gassed defense point with you, but to me, TOP is worthless if you're not putting up points.
  11. What would you say are the 2 positions this franchise has struggled drafting? If we trusted him so much why not resign him the year prior when the numbers were so close? Joe bet on himself and won. The organization didn't have much of an choice in keeping him.
  12. Well let me assist. Maybe the FO isn't putting the tools around the guy because they feel the playoff run was more of an anomaly than it is the norm. Maybe the reason our OCs and GM don't fully trust the guy is because of what we consistently see which is his inconsistencies. Combine that with the fact most times you put a top offense against a top defense, guess how it usually plays out. Most teams can't over come their #1 wr going down to begin with. Build a balanced offense, which we have and a top defense, and more times than not, that team will succeed. It could also be Ozzie is afraid to draft wrs that early cause of past failures.
  13. Classic...
  14. Coaching and upgrading positions is making a difference. Resigning key plays is making a difference. Stop gap or not, players have been added a d almost every move up to the draft was made to help the offense. Resigning a top LT and TE. Keeping JJ then the kther additions isn't ignoring the offense. Neither is adding Smith. We lost one of top defenders and it's funny how people are still mentioning Boldin when most of you said we didnt need him cause Flacco was the one who made him. We have a new OC and QB coach. If the offense doesn't improve it's not due to the front office's lack of trying. Same people who tell others to have faith are now the ones going against the in Ozzie we trust mantra. Also, for a return to the playoffs we don't need Joe to be elite. A middle of the pack qb type season from him and somewhere around 4.0 ypc from Rice should be enough to get us to the post season. The stink of last years offense is still fresh in peoples mind and had the offense had any kind of stability we would have been in the dance.
  15. The Jets are having a good draft so far. I like the movse they're making.
  16. The reason the offense looked terrible was cause of o line. Monroe, KO and Zuttah have been added/have come back healthy. Pitta is back. Smith was added as a reliable target while retaining JJ and signing Owens. Quit your crying about offense not being addressed people. Not only that, we added a starting caliber WR last year as a UDFA. Most of our cap money was spent this off season on offense. Ngatas probably done when his contract is up so they're thinking ahead. I wish we used an earlier pick on a WR, but it's not going to do any good now.
  17. What the heck are not my words.... I was a little more rough around the edges. Seriously.....
  18. What the heck?...
  19. Lmao
  20. Cause football isn't year round...
  21. I didn't like McGuire as Spiderman, prefer Garfield. I felt they wrote the Spiderman character better in the new adaptation. The originals felt more child oriented as well to me. I also hate Kirsten as MJW. I mean, I couldn't stand her on screen. I don't know if they wrote the character to be that annoying, but she was to me. In TASM series, I like the action more, the fact he actually showed some kind of knowledge by making the web shooters and actually having him utilize his agility instead of just trying to fight guys heads up.
  22. LMAO.... Batman & Robin is one of the best worst movies ever. In case none of you have heard of this, look for Honest Trailer on youtube and look for the Batman & Robin one. It's gold.
  23. Was never that big a fan of the Raimi films and like Webb's take more, but the 2nd one felt awkward in pacing. The ending felt rushed and it seemed like you basically knew the movie from the trailers. It only took Electro about a minute into being a villain to start cracking bad puns.
  24. I saw someone else mention him and there was a TMNT trailer for the movie. I know he didn't make it.
  25. Saw TASM 2. Interesting. Not as good as Cap, but was alright. Michael Bay needs to stop destroying my childhood by making these movies.
