  1. Would've been nice if we ran some early-down play action for them, also. For some reason we went back to the run, run, then throw on third-and-long. Tough to watch.
  2. Couldn't run the ball worth a damn, either, although that didn't stop Trestman from calling a run play every time or first down- or at least it seemed like it. I was hoping we'd see the kind of playcalling Kubiak employed in the playoff game vs the Steelers last year- inventive and ballsy. Instead we got Caldwell, circa 2013.
  3. I guess we figured we'd only pass on obvious passing downs, or, maybe, Trestman wanted to prove he wasn't just a pass-happy OC. I know execution usually trumps scheme but, man, the playcalling was disappointing...
  4. I hope we don't stop throwing deep. I don't think we can match the Broncos 14-play drive for 14-play drive...
  5. I meant while those teams (Redskins/49er's/Cowboys/Steelers etc) had great success over a period of years, not currently.
  6. If, as Pats' fans claim, jealousy and envy are the heart of the allegations, why haven't other similarly successful teams been plagued by allegations of cheating?
  7. I'd take 4-3 after seven games, and be thrilled with 5-2. Don't like the schedule, at all.
  8. I think Joe takes his cue from Bisciotti, who has often said that his benchmark for a successful season is having a home playoff game.
  9. Well, you've got about 30 seconds with the coach, so I'm not sure how finely tuned you can make it. Or how much you have to worry about aggravating him...
  10. Well, technically, he's not an employee of the team. But I think Harbs meant to let him know just how farther up the ladder he is...
  11. Well, yes, that would've been better.
  12. Opinion, not fact. You should learn there's a difference.
  13. Absolutely right. No mention of the punch that was thrown at Gillmore that helped start the whole thing, either.
  14. Yup. I mean, sideline reporting isn't exactly meant to be the Watergate hearings, but it's not Harris' job to stroke John Harbaugh, either
  15. I disagree. Own it instead of shooting the messenger. Not a big deal, but kind of bush, I thought.
  16. I guess he should've only asked him about SS's touchdown catch and run.
  17. Awfully cranky with Brent Harris, too. I'll give Harris credit- once Harbs got hissy, he just sent it back upstairs...
  18. Maxx was hobbling after that 4th-and-20 play at the end of the Saints game.
  19. Schaub could be Ben Affleck's brother.
  20. Of course they do, and it's the way they do it that's so laughable. In summary, he's a self-serving, traitorous, and paid-off bloodsucker who is out to make himself famous by bashing their hometown hero. Not only that, he should be fired and run out of town on a rail. Ah, the price you pay by committing sacrilege...
  21. I don't disagree. I was just replying to the "what's Brady's endgame" question.
  22. I think that, for Brady, it's beyond the suspension- it's about his reputation, and the only way to recover any of it is with a win in court.
  23. Gotta love the comments section.
  24. Oh, I think there's plenty of risk by going to court. It's one thing to be perceived as a liar, it's quite another to have it "proven". I doubt Team Brady will make the decision to go to court without deliberating the matter very seriously.
