  1. Here's what I see- unlike some teams in this league, the initial call always goes against us. If we're lucky, we get the reversal. If not, just a meaningless mea culpa from the league...
  2. Marc "deep hand off when you just need a yard" Trestman...
  3. It does puzzle me when Joe follows up a perfectly placed bullet on a twenty-yard out with an underthrown 45-yard lob pass...
  4. "Johnny isn't part of the story", says a story with Johnny in the headline...
  5. Can we stop running it on every first down?
  6. Trestman must like third down...
  7. Yeah, of course- I wasn't talking about every play. Didn't think I had to preface it with "not every play"...
  8. Never a good spot against the Squealers. We always get shortchanged...
  9. Joe has stunk up the joint but doesn't it seem like he has the most unbelievable plays made against him?
  10. A win vs the Squealers would make all the pain go away. Well, for a week (or ten days), at least...
  11. Maybe it's time for Trestman to be Trestman, and not Kubiak II. I want more Flacco in the shotgun...
  12. How many times have we seen this movie? Offense lousy early but defense does enough to keep us in the game. Offense wakes up and gets us ahead, or close. Defense needs one big stop and can't get it.
  13. Yes, the Beantown boneheads have been yelping about "Harbaugh the Hypocrite" since the article titled "Ravens run exactly the same play they complained about" came out. Of course, the play was different in a number of ways, and that fact was even mentioned in the article. Didn't stop the author from using a misleading headline, though. Hypocrite...
  14. The route was designed to draw a flag.
  15. That the offense graded a B, and yes, Joe missed that throw. That said, I'd give the defense an F. You seem to disagree.
  16. Right. Are you saying the defense was no worse than the offense?
  17. Let's tell it the way it is- we gave up 37 to a mediocre offense. That's where the major fault lies.
  18. Holding call was baloney. The receiver ran straight into Hill. He's not obligated to get out of the way.
  19. Outhit, out hustled, and out executed.
  20. I thought the playcalling was abysmal. It almost seemed as if Trestman wasn't going to be accused of getting away from Kubiak's run-first philosophy.
  21. How about throwing the ball on first down once in a while? Maybe a little play action on 2nd and 7 or 8 instead of another deep handoff that leaves you with 3rd and long? Perhaps a few inside handoffs or draws? Or was Harbaugh happy with the reincarnation of Jim Caldwell, circa 2013?
  22. Yes, most definitely, the O-line must step up. But, just as important, the number of "obvious passing downs" be reduced.
  23. Well, yeah, Denver has some really good corners, and some really good pass rushers, too. All the more reason to not only throw on the obvious passing downs.
