  1. No flag, of course. I know I'll get some flak for this but it sometimes seems like it's open season on Ravens...
  2. I guess it bothered me that a fan of another team would visit our site and lecture us on objectivity- that's all. No big deal. Anyway, the ballgames were over yesterday, so I hardly think anything's been hijacked. Unless you have something else to add, that is...
  3. A non-answer. About what I expected.
  4. Hard to posit "incidental contact" when you lead with your helmet, don't you think?
  5. Do you feel that Harrison and Ward are/were dirty players?
  6. Baloney- it's a judgement call, and you'll see it called just as often as not. Are you going to "challenge" me to find an example, or will you admit that there are plenty of instances where a play very much like that one has resulted in a flag?
  7. What was that about the rule book, again?
  8. Well, I'm way to old to get assigned homework, by anyone, but I will say this- the perception is there, and not just among many Ravens fans. Why? I know the answer you're going to give...
  9. That's Norm MacDonald- normally a very, very funny man. I think the joke is that he's not much of a Colonel Sanders impersonator, and I'd agree with that assessment.
  10. Do you really think you're going to convince Ravens fans that the Steelers haven't, on balance, gotten the calls over the years? Good luck with that...
  11. Hey, thanks for explaining it to me- I thought AB was just checking his eyelids for pinholes. I get it, now- although I don't recall #84 being placed on a stretcher. Anyway, Porter's concern seemed to take a back seat to starting trouble, don't you think? And I'll bet the NFL agrees with me when it comes time to decide whether or not to fine him...
  12. The rules say it's not legal for anyone other than medical personnel to be on the field (besides players, of course). Now, I think the refs will give the HC leeway, but the linebackers coach has no business being out there.
  13. I didn't say he'd be 100%- I said I believe it's 100% certain that he'll play. Get the difference?
  14. What are the chances that AB passes the concussion protocol for next week? I'd say 100%. He'd have to be in a coma for the league to keep him out, where as Manziel had a headache for a day and he couldn't play against the Steelers in what was a big game. I'm not saying the Browns would've won but with Austin Davis well, you know...
  15. Hill is the goat and 55's an idiot. The pacman flag was bs- if what he did was flag worthy then Joey Porter's antics should have drawn yellow, too. Of course, it didn't, continuing years and years of the Steelers getting away with murder.
  16. Yeah, there's no way that anyone who disagrees with you is being "objective".
  17. Tomlin's teams know how to start trouble, and they know the refs will flag the player who retaliates. Even when they see the original offense...
  18. Well, the refs pocketed their flags when Mitchell launched a helmet-to-helmet shot on Eifert. Guess they were just going old school for one play.
  19. How much you wanna bet that Brown passes the concussion protocol? He will- you can bank on it.
  20. Always a refereeing controversy in Steelers games. And it's always in their favor. Always.
  21. Another Steeler win courtesy of the refs. Completely unprofessional cheerleading from Nance and Simms. Makes me sick.
  22. Bengals run it first down every time. Why? Do they want to win?
  23. You don't think it was ridiculous that they couldn't see that a 350-lb man was down?
  24. You have to laugh when Simms and Nance disregard the Steelers post-whistle shenanagins and proclaim "the league has warned both parties about that kind of behavior". As if Pittsburgh isn't coached to be chippy, especially after any big play that doesn't go their way...
