We hear it every year - DeAndre Hopkins, Marcus Peters, etc. All are guys we wanted but we didn't want to move up, and thus, settled for whatever fell.
yeah, I got stomach reflux thinking about it....I agree at some point, we need to sacrifice some picks to get a true playmaker which is worth more than 1 good and avg player or even 2 good player....that's a game changer player.....
I don't care it's high or low draft pick, but sweeping the Bengals is good in my book.....perfect ending season game to start with great optimistic approach for next year....
With all the recent year, Matt Elam pick is the one I feel most disappointed cuz that year we were looking for Ed replacement. I thought he has about 50% of Ed's ability but it turned out that he didn't even inherit a basic fundamental technique as a safety, a solid tackler......
There's so many picks that should of or could of as a hindsight.....
In 2017, I think we will be within top 20 pick and we need to nail it to fill the gaps that we missed in the last few drafts.
2016 and 2017 draft should set the future for us........
Misses on 2nd round pick for over the years is the real problem which is need to be fixed asap. I agree some people mentioned that it's the scout and I think that's the problem too. We need to get immediate contributor in 2nd round.......

Well, he has the run the team and defense which are impossible task to excel. It's like tell Dick LeBeau to run team and the defense; you know the result.....
With 2017 draft, top pick should be pass rush and then CB then WR

Marvin Lewis as DC is too good to be true; dude has great defensive mind......

Makes me sick. Now Pittsburgh has that path. We were so close. Just wasn't meant to be.
yeah, everything on the table and Joe sees that; the look on the snapshot during post-game press conference tells everything....

The last sentence is also hilarious. "If we can carry Joe to the playoffs", the guys is getting paid $20 million a year. Should anyone be having to carry him to the playoffs??
It's a team sport so he can't do that by himself, can he?
Even Rodgers can't even do it if his WR couldn't catch the ball or his defense collapse on the lead.
It takes 3 phases to win on Sunday.
get me a lock-down CB who can back up or replace Jimmy Smith.....

he was a team cancer in Carolina many a times. He undermined Cam Newton a was let go, lol.
Luckily we got the older Steve Smith and Flacco kept him happy with targets. Yeah, I generally like him as a Raven and respected him as a Panther....but dude was a team cancer one too many times.
When you are on a losing team for years, some point you want to rise and tell those guys that we need to win. If no one can get it done, Steve Smith Sr will single-handedly get it done....
Thank you SSS! it's such an HONOR to have you play as a Ravens, and not only you are at top notch on the field, you are also great at community service. What a great accomplishment as a man and a football player; good father and husband and a great football player. What else can you ask for as a man?
What capture me the most was your speech for Torrey Smith: "Catch the ball like someone steals your lunch money!"
PS: I've never seen anyone with 5'9 playing like 6'6 with a lion heart and volcanic energy......
Again, Thank you!
Doesn't matter how you spin it; John will be with us throughout 2017 for sure, but even he comes up short in 2017, may be he's on the hot seat. If Marvin can secure his 13 year tenure with the Bengals with 0 playoff win, Harbs will certainly stay much longer than 13yr.........
So I don't think HC changes won't come anytime soon....
Pitta should be gone in 2017; he just lives up to the price tag.....wouldn't blame him though, but we need strong TE who can block and catch at the same time....
3 minutes ago, Steve0x said:Remember how the Players went to Ozzie about Billick before he was fired. Ray Lewis had something to do with that. He told Ozzie ether Billick goes or I go?
Yes but everyone supports John and he does look after his own players so not gonna happen...his players love him....
we we just need a few coordinator changes and we'll be back to the dance...
one thing for sure if Steve thinking about HC replacement is John is losing his players' support in the locker room, but right now no one is giving up on John; therefore, he stays....
If we keep Pees, we have to find another elite corner to back up Jimmy.....cuz his defense is all about one shutdown corner.....
If you watch the game, we rarely send help over Jimmy's side so LBs and corner can support the run and play one side zone defense. We are #1 run defense and 10 against the pass when Jimmy on the field cuz LB and CB can play at the line of the scrimmage without worrying on Jimmy's side....
We just need another clone of Jimmy Smith and it's gonna be costly.....
7 minutes ago, Glen1024 said:Defense will always be vanilla under pees even with everyone healthy it's vanilla
Pees' defense is Jimmy Smith....he schemed it around Jimmy, so once he goes down, the whole defense will collapse....one man defense....
It's time to put us fans onto the active roster against the Bengals....
we need another corner like Jimmy Smith since one single CB is the cornerstone of the defense....

My assessment on Harbs is this: he is a good HC with a history on special teams. I believe he relies more heavily on his coordinators in that respect & if he is the one making hire decisions on coordinators - he just isn't good in gauging that talent.
I'm fine with Marty getting one full season to put his mark on the offense - but Pees has already shown over 5 seasons that he isn't the answer. Friend or not, John, it's time to move on and do it NOW. Not wait around until any good choices are gone like we did with the OC position.
I agree it's been 5yrs and time to move on to a different defensive mind coach. Harbs is great managing the team but he isn't good hiring the right coordinator except Kubiak......
So next week we play for draft pick...
No Hail Mary is like we gave up...stupid playcall! Give our guys no chance to win...
Guys need to catch the ball

Injury to key players; If Suggs and Jimmy were healthy, we can win some tight games.....
