Perriman needs to play physical against the DBs cuz he's big and strong like Dez Bryant....
Don't know what happen if SSS plays in the body of Perriman....
SSS is a great receiver cuz he gets into DB's head all game long and wait for his chance to break out....
I think SSS is teaching Perriman how to play game as it's supposed to be but I think it's yet time for him to fully sink in...hopefully we will see that time that Perriman finally breaks out...
But we need to see him to break out in the next 6 games.......we need it....
Ppl must be watching crickets if they don't see how important Jimmy is....He's the core of our secondary and by shutting down 1 side of the field, Pees call dial up pass rush easily and pressure QB on every play.....You just can't play aggressive if you have to worry about the backfield.........
Rex Ryans knows how much Darrelle Davis meant for him in defense cuz by shutting down 1side of the field, he can literally can go after the QB aggressively......
Same goes for Pees, if Jimmy plays, our defense will have a great day and if Jimmy not playing, we are back to mediocre defense. Even Suggs knows it and did publicly saying it....
If Jimmy plays against the Bengals, we will shut out the Bengals and send them back into the room with Browns...
If Jimmy not playing, some unknown Bengals receivers will have a probowl day......our team will barely beat the Bengals, even AJ Green is ruled out against us...
So much respect for SSS...why can't our WRs learn just 50% of SSS abilities ???
We need to stop the cowgirls
Game is slipping away
Why can't we have oline like that?
as soon as jimmy out and wright in, Bryant will have huge day....not surprising...freaking dude soft at the press coverage
Looks like Jimmy will be out..he's doubtful so that's bad.....

Bart defending Joe and it is the fact....
Some of ya said Boldin bailing out Joe, but without Joe's audible and perfect back shoulder throws and reads, would Boldin even have chance to make plays?
It's like saying Reggie Wayne bailing out Manning without any help on Manning's audible, perfect reads on defense and perfect throw?
Get your common senses down......
PS: it is a team sport and you can't do it alone, but when both of you do your jobs, some thing good will happen....

no doubt, my shutting 1 side of the field is the huge advantage for any defense....
I expect Jimmy will be ready; I'll bet he's resting his previously injured foot.....

The throw to Waller was great. I thought what was better than the throw was the pump fake to SSS that held the backside Safety(Reynolds), which opened that hold for Waller's route. His eyes and pump fake made that play, the throw was just the icing on the cake. The TD throw to SSS is encouraging as well because Joe had that bounce in his step that we see and love in January Joe. He bounced on that Knee and shifted his weight before firing a strike to SSS.
Another area I'm extremely excited to see from the last 2 games is Joe's accuracy on his slants, crossing routes and throw to Dixon out of the backfield. It probably goes unnoticed because they are shorter throws, but I'm excited about that bounce in his step and no hesitation in putting weight on that knee. I was very critical of Joe leaving yards on the field earlier in the season because he wouldn't step into throws and limited RAC yards for guys. However over the last 2 games, that has greatly improved and it's a great sign to me.
It's perfect timing that he regains trust from his ACL/MCL knee back.....It's pleasuring to see Joe is back to his old form or even better if we get to the post season....
The confidence, trust, and swagger are what I see Joe from the Browns game. It will carry with him to the rest of the season.....
here we go, Dallas!!
Win or lose..I'm excited to see this matchup..gonna be one hell of the game...
I got a feeling Tucker will win us the tight game......
I'm so happy that our offense finally start to click and our defense are beast!....
I just go enjoy this win..catch ya later....
Remember we have #2 ranked defense in the league so anything happens to the offense, our defense will pull us out.....
But I believe our offense will click against weak Browns defense..........

So my reaction when he limped off the field was; next man up, those shoes aren't hard to fill.
Holler from Denver, Miami, Cleveland, Jets, Jacksonville, Texans, Redskins, 49ers, Rams, Vikings, and some borderline teams. aren't hard to be filled..../scroll eyes.....
PS: not following football much?

I think what was exposed with the Steelers is that their offense isn't as dynamic as most think. They have 2 dynamic skill players in AB and Bell with a QB who can extend plays and throw down field. The Ravens also exposed Haley's lack of in game adjustments. Pees basically gave them the middle of the field because they triple teamed AB and maned up across the board with a Safety over the top with the seams open all day. However Haley rarely even tried. The Steelers are really reliant on the big play in the passing game and if he can take it away you'll see Ben throwing a lot of Ints, the Ravens just didn't catch them.
Also vs Bell the Ravens learned quickly after the first time playing him that he's just a patient runner who wait for you to make a mistake in your gap containment and than gashes you. The Ravens stayed discipline up front and didn't allow Bell to get out of the gate. The Ravens have won like 6 of the last 7 matchups vs the Steelers. The national media won't recognize it but they Ravens have the Steelers number and they haven't found a way to crack that code over that last 3 years or so.
We need to crack that code against the Bengals this year.....
2 minutes ago, DefensiveMind said:Why was everyone scared? Have you guys seen him play this year? He can't hit the ocean if he was throwing from a boat in open water. Plus he would probably throw off his back foot and fall overboard
Because we have common sense about the QB situation.....
just pop a few more beers....
Last Sunday game, we have pretty balance offense on both pass and run.
Joe still looks scared out there, probably from his knee injury. He needs to put that scare away and steps into the ball more; however, the ACL/MCL injury affects his mental game more or so than his physical game. He's been making lots of rookie mistakes like decision making under pressure.
On the second half against the Steelers, Joe did stepped into the ball more and threw a blazing pass to Smith SR for the first down. I guess it's the trust issue as well; he knows Steve would get the fast tight window throw; same goes to Ben with Brown.
Yes, I agree that we need to balance our attacks, but our WR guys need to beat one on one match up in order to open up for the running game too.
Cut down the penalty is the #1 fix right now....
Penalties killed us and took away 50yd or something run from West.
Our starters are back and as long as we cut down all the rookie penalties, our run game will be in good shape...

So here we are with Week 10: ugh. I knew Cleveland would not be good this year but man, I didn't see 0-9.
The positives at least are on offense: they're young but they haven't played THAT bad overall. Cody Kessler has been pleasantly decent so far and I think starting him over a healthy McCown is the right choice. Kessler is your potential future, you know what you have in McCown. Pryor, Coleman, Barnidge, Crowell are really developing into decent players but it's tough when the OL is in such bad shape from injury. They really have done a overall good job IMO given the circumstances so here's hoping they continue that trend.
The defense: [Sheesh], where do I begin? Again, knew they'd be the weak point but man they look awful and I think that's being generous. It's been hard to really find one bright point there so far and at the moment I can't think of one. They need some serious improvement for sure. I think the Browns could have 2, maybe 3 wins if their defense wasn't so freaking terrible.
With it being a Thursday night game, anything is possible. Especially being a divisional matchup. I still think the Ravens have the edge but here's hoping I'm wrong. =]
I hope you guys don't play the QB plug and play type of things cuz that thing kills us all the time with all the back up, off the street QB...
I believe it is the tight game and our defense will bail us out....
4 hours ago, 757RavensFan said:Don't overlook the 3 INTs that were dropped by Weddle, Webb, and Mosely. We are not that easy to throw against.
If one of them just grabbed one of those easy int, the game should be over sooner than everyone expected....
The Ravens ranked bottom of the league; what makes this game is a trap one? nothing...
We will pull out a W again and more when doubters and pundits expect us to lose....
As we all know, who's the real fan and who r the fake Ravens fans....
O-line starters are back and we won; don't think it's coincidence. It's just the fact that haters couldn't swallow...
Never complain much about defense cuz they've been playing like top 5 defense in the league.
Offense need some work but still believe they will get it done...
PS: A win against divisional rivalry and top in the division aren't enough for a fan to be happy? you aren't the fan!......
