Salary cap and dead money were killing us and Monroe and Zuttah supposed to be a good signing but didn't expect they play badly. We got Wallace and Weddle who have contributed greatly to our offense and defense, respectably. I wish our key players aren't injured so we know how good those rookie starters would be..... What we lack right now is pass rushers on the edge and solid CB opposite Jimmy. We have Young on the slot in which he excels. We need a good young center asap which seem to be forgotten as one of the important positions on the offense. We need to let Webb go cuz his salary cap is too high for an average safety. Elway was inherited a good young team with bunch of high picks. We'll see what he would do when those who are on rookie contract hit the market. Time will tell, especially your first pick going to be at 22+. Additionally, his team haven't hit injury bug yet and encountered some dead money from players not even on the team.

The Titans just schooled the Jag, while we have trouble taking on them....

BTW, I agree we need to ban all AFC south game; Jaqs vs Titans are bad for TV ratings if they care..... Why don't they show Hawks and Saints? Gonna tune out tonight game....

We had nobody at WR and traded away our secure blanket Boldin to 49ers. Jacoby got hurt on first few games and we had to bring up PS/street WRs. The only #2 one dimentional player left is Torrey. Our line sucked on that year too so we have to trade to get Monroe. With all this things happened, it doesn't really conclude Caldwell was the problem. We avg about 20pts per game and still lost cuz defense gave them away. We did it with street receivers....

Some players don't want to practice more; remember, one year players complained that John was making them practicing too hard. It's gonna be tough to get more practice time for the players...

Coincidence is that these guys doing well under Harbs although they belong to other trees......That's y they got poached away... Rex is pretty much feeling sour after he got turned down for the Ravens HC job, so he left immediately... Pagano was doing very well as D-coordinator, absolutely benefited by Reed and Lewis leaderships and on field coaching....

If we get our starters back after the bye, your prediction of winning division is doable; if our starters still unavailable or re-injured after the Steelers game, I say our season is over. I never doubt we don't have heart to play the game, but we don't have enough good players or play makers to pull us out the tough win. Our season is on the hands of Stanley, Yanda, Suggs, and Smith SR who are still on the injured/unavailable list...... PS: The reason Stanley not playing against the Jets I guess was Harbs thinking after the Jets was bye week so he rather has 100% Stanley than limping 70% Stanley. A loss against the Jets wouldn't end our season but a loss of Stanley and Yanda would end our season in miserable ways....like losing 100Mil QB.....

I can't believe I actually for once read the whole 5 page post. It has some good arguments.... I came out with one summary about QBs and WRs discussion is that it is a TEAM work to make everything happened. It starts from top to bottom of the organization.

Reported by profootballtalk, Joe was kept out of practice today due to unknown reason. As we all know, Joe has always been an iron man on the field; even he's hurt, he won't show it, and if he shows it, it is bad. In 2011, they went to the Finals and lost to the Giants when he was coaching the Rams; yes, he has his own of playbook of the offense and has some unique mind about schemes and play callings, but that doesn't equate on him being a good HC. He is ok for OC job, but not for HC jobs. Has he done anything but losing ever since he had a HC job? The man is set to be a failure at HC job. You do know being HC and coordinator are distinctively two different things, right?

Lots of people don't realize; it's hard for a person to change who he is in a short amount of times, especially he's coming out from Belichick's school.... It's not gigantic step backward but a suicide mission per say.... There's plenty of good and great coaches out there who are waiting for the right moment to join the stable organization they want to be in.......

today's game evolved greatly around the guy in the center of the offense; you can't win big game without him. Yes, you can have the best defense in the league but you must have a QB who is good enough to drive down the field to win in big moment. Like Denver last year, they were ranked #1 defense in the league and Manning wasn't playing his best but he did enough to let his defense to close out the game. Therefore, either you have good manager QB who can drive down the field when needed to and great Defense. Or you have great QB and good defense. When it comes to winning SB, all the cylinders have to click in order to win all the games in the post season. When we won 2012 SB, our defense were ranked top 20 but when we made a run in the post season, we were playing like top 5 defense in the league. Everything was clicking.... In the end, it's impossible to avoid paying top bucks for the franchise QB....

You do know the big boss behind him is Belichick right? the dude literally runs the whole organization...Whatever McDaniels plans on the offense have be consulted by Belichick. McDaniels is good cuz he is in an well-organized and established system. There's no sense of drop-off when he left the Patriots in 2009-2011.

The dude who had big crush on Tebow and traded the whole farm for him? It's a hell-raiser if it's ever happened...... PS: We aren't that desperate to find a HC...our organization is one of the best stable organizations that will lure big time coach for us....not McDaniels....
