  1. Wallace, SSS and Aiken completely suck today
  2. Hey, the "toss" got some positive yards
  3. Surprised Pitta's hip stayed in place after that
  4. Good question. They're so embarrassed, they couldn't take it anymore. This would go down in lore as the game that should be forgotten It'll only be forgotten if they actually get better this year. But from what we have to go by now; it doesn't look like they're getting better. Perhaps even worse.
  5. OK. Flacco throws a pick six...you know it's coming
  6. Good question. They're so embarrassed, they couldn't take it anymore.
  7. remember that time when we thought the ravens d was improved vs the almighty bill? ya, a little quick to the draw. our d still sucks
  8. Metalraven.... that is the issue in itself. mcjacket makes some very good points and his interaction on this site is valuable and even desired but you said it yourself... mcjackets focus seems to be at times on critiquing other guests on the site more then stating his own opinion on the articles. This at times comes across as condescending and even at times a little pompous. I do appreciate his reasoning and his football IQ and I value his opinion on many topics but the approach of focusing on the fans more than the articles can cause his logic and reasoning to be missed from time to time. Hope this is not taken by mcjacket as a personal attack on him...just offering my viewpoint bc metalraven offered his about the approach of mcjacket. Just my opinion! If it comes off this way, its generally because I don't think the poster spent the time and effort to actually formulate a rationale thought or do the research required to make the claims they made. Its easy to just throw opinions out there and say "well its just my opinion", but I think its takes a much more knowledgeable and educated fan to research some of these thing and formulate opinions based on actual fact and merit, instead of just venting hindsight frustrations that are typically misguided entirely. 9. Not going to lie. Reading rmcjacket23's comments/replies to other poster is more fun than the actual articles. I always look for the ridiculous comments with the inevitable blast of logic that follows. One of the few "fans" that takes the "fanatic" out of fan, and replaces it with reason. ;)
  10. I actually have a strange feeling that your right with all of the above. It wouldn't come at the expense of somebody like Peirce. If Hester is signed it is strictly at the expense of Campanaro IMO. lol
  11. @757RavensFan - I just saw that too. I'm quite surprised actually.
  12. If Boldin is cheap, he'd be good to have. If he came in and put up 750 years and 4 TDs, I'll take that!
  13. Nothing wrong with Trent's dream. Isn't that every football player's dream? All he said is what any ambitious player would say. The people who are bashing him are the ones who either never had dreams or never made them happen. They're also known as losers. Better at tweeting than anything else. Whether Trent was a Raven or a Patriot, I'd respect his dream. I think he should be applauded for not settling for mediocrity like his opponents apparently do. Good for him. Make it happen young man.
  14. LOL @Sapp. What is he? A 14 year old girl whose crush never called her after a # exchange? Get a life, you fat soft. Anybody who "understands" where Sapp "is coming from" are just hyper sensitive. How pathetic. Timmy, wear any number you'd like. Sapp ain't Gretzky. Hahahaha. What a bunch of sissies we've become. A grown man whining because some dude didn't call or text. Hahahaha. Beyond belief
  15. Being a Notre Dame fan, I've seen the guy each and every game his entire collegiate career. He is a great tackle. He's smart and teachable. Whatever he, lacks he'll learn. #GoND #GoRavens
  16. Partially agree, though I wouldn't be so quick to play the "there is no factual proof" when it comes to Hardy. There was clearly enough factual proof in a Judge's opinion that he be found guilty of assault and criminal threats, because he was. It was only after he appealed for a jury and paid off the woman to no longer cooperate with the judicial process was he "exonerated". As you did state, the only difference between Rice and Hardy, for the most part, is one act was caught on tape and another wasn't. So in Rice's case, the public is able to determine facts vs non-facts for themselves, while in the Hardy case the public is left with what most cases like this have... the opinions, evidence and testimony collected in a judicial proceeding. If it were my daughter, and she was of the age of these woman to make these determinations herself, I'd leave it up to her to decide if she would still want to be with a person like this. There's no better person to make that judgment than her. Exactly my point regarding evidence. That's why we have judge and jury. But evidence does not always equate to known fact. I am not saying Hardy is innocent at all. Just pointing out the differences between the cases. Regarding your response to my rhetorical "daughter" question: I simply asked: "Would you WANT that man near your family?" Just because you leave it up to a grown person to make their own decisions; doesn't mean you "want" it to be that way.
  17. Stop comparing this to the Ray Rice situation. In the Rice situation, there was actual proof because he smashed his girl's face, then coldly dragged her limp body out of the elevator, and stood over her with no signs of "oh my god, what did I just do?!"...all on a video. In Hardy's situation, there is evidence, but no video of him actually performing the act. No factual proof. So nobody can say for sure what happened. And when Ray Rice "confessed" to the team before the video came out; he was incredibly vague about it, and nobody knew how bad it actually was. If I remember correctly, he alluded to slapping her. But as we saw, it was a closed fist, left hook to the freaking jaw. Rice is doing right by his actions now; but he still did something incredibly disgusting. If that was your daughter; would you want that man near your family? Stop being homers about Rice. If he was a steeler, you'd want him publicly hanged. Hardy is a piece of crap. But his situation is different.
  18. If this dude is that pumped, then that's great. The key is STAYING pumped when he faces setbacks; because he will. But if he is serious about this, then I'm all in. I guess we'll get a glimpse in the coming months.
  19. Who replaces him? You can't count on the draft. 1) No guarantee you get the guy you want, and 2) even if you do get the guy you want, LT in the NFL is not a plug and play position. Fact is, Monroe is our only viable option at this point. Plus, as others have said, when he's healthy, he's solid.
  20. Agree, 100%. This has no negative impact on the team at all. He either doesn't pan out and gets cut; or he surprises everyone and does great. If it's the latter, then freaking sweet!
  21. Ditto.......my feelings exactly!!! Dislike Brady, Belichick . and Kraft. Have to say though, that if Gronk was on our team, I would not be complaining! Ya. As obnoxious and stupid as he is; Gronk is a heck of a baller. No questioning that.
  22. I absolutely hate the pats more than the steelers. At least with the steelers team and org, there's a semblance of respect. But regarding the pats - I have zero respect for the team, the org, and especially their useless fans; who are a bunch of loud-mouthed buffoons.
  23. Boston media is nothing more than a bunch national inquirer writers. They are completely ignorant of anything outside of their useless city.
  24. If they signed Brown at the federal minimum wage; I guess I might begin to understand.
