  1. Remember when we said: "I'd rather be the worst 3-0 team than the best 0-3 team"? hahahaha How we've won ANYTHING is unbelievable.
  2. Flacco tripped over a blade of grass
  3. Ya. It's the lack of practice. That's why he sucks! Pfft
  4. Flacco is the greatest QB of all time. His fundamentals are perfect. He always steps into his throws, never off the back foot. He never throws into double coverage. His pre-snap reads are like Peyton Manning, but even better. Oh, don't even get me started on his post-snap reads. WOOOO!! I mean, the dude is near perfect. For any fan to disagree is not a "real" fan. I'm wearing my #5 jersey now, and I'll go to bed with it, wake up, and then go to work with it. Because he was amazing in 2012 playoffs, and won a super bowl, I will never hold him accountable for how badly this team sucks. Signed, Ravens Homer-Flacco Lover
  5. 1) Osemele was asking to be paid much higher than the market value of a guard. A price we could not afford; and even if we could, we would not have paid him that much. The Ravens offered him the market value for his position, a very good off, too. He passed, and the Raiders, with seemingly endless cap room, picked up. 2) Munroe would have been a backup - a very expensive backup. You don't pay an oft-injured backup starter money. 3) The Pats have had this current system for what, 15 years? Maybe more. Their success is efficiency and coaching (and cheating). When someone joins the Pats, they know their role, and they do not stray from it.
  6. This is hilarious. (Not in a good way) That's like siding with Satan. Go for it, bud. You'll fit right in with the rest of the fake Pats fans. Most of their fan base is made up of people like you.
  7. Joe isn't the problem Please stop defending the guy. His lack of production is as big a part of the team's problem as the Ravens' inability to keep players healthy, and their inability to draft playmakers for the last 5 years. Since he signed that $126 million dollar contract, the highest he's finished as a QB is 16th in the league (2014). The other two years, he finished 30th and 32nd, and is again ranked near the bottom this year at 27th. That's terrible. He may not be THE problem, but he is a BIG problem. Perfectly stated. There are a lot of problems on this team, and Joe is most certainly one of them.
  8. You realize Suggs and Doom are linebackers right? We actually do have a very stout healthy D-line. In a hybrid 3-4, they go from DE to OLB; so both of you are right.
  9. Hey Jets. No need to worry. The Ravens will make sure that you look good. Every slumping that plays the Ravens suddenly come alive. So, it really won't matter who your QB is. We will not get to him. He'll have plenty of time in the pocket. On the other hand, your D line will definitely get to our QB, and our QB will make sure to throw for 50% and 0 TDs. Trust me, Jets...you're good.
  10. What if the reason we lose is because of the defense? Definitely a possibility. However, given the 6 game sample we have, and with last the exception of the last game, the D has not been part of the problem. In fact, they've been the reason the Ravens stayed in the game. But that well will run dry, eventually.
  11. problem is his contract is guaranteed until 2020. we could release him in 2020 but that would leave us with $8 mill in dead money. pray that he gets better. but if the offense struggles after the bye than mallett should be given a few starts. joe is not tradeable with his contract. You're correct. But I didn't say anything about them trading Flacco. i know you didnt, it was meant for the fans that have already given up on him Gotcha

  13. Remember that long pass early in the game, to Perriman? That was a jump ball, in double coverage, to a guy he has not shown he's got good hands. Also, on that same play, Wallace was WIDE OPEN on the opposite side. If Flacco actually saw that, it would've been 6. But remember, it's Flacco. He doesn't see much at all.
  14. Correct. Even if they had score just ONE MORE TD in these games, there are still so many problems with this team.
  15. On that pass to Wallace, Wallace can take the blame, because he stopped in his route. However, if you look at the coverage, there was a window in that zone. Flacco overthrew him because he was trying to lead him, and Wallace appeared to stop as if he was supposed to sit in that zone, catch it, get out of bounds. Regardless, it is a fact that Flacco has been awful. As can be shown by the stats above, with time in the pocket, he's actually worse. So the o line excuses are all used up. Also, other than the 2012 SB run, when has Flacco EVER been consistent? In 9 years, it has been pretty much the same thing - sometimes he's amazing, but most of the time he's average, or below average. With that said, it's not like he's dispensable - starting QBs, even average ones, are not easily replaced. But if we lose to the nasty Jets, then it's time to look at QBs in the draft. Flacco has shown repeatedly who he is. That is not going to change. He's not going to wake up and suddenly become great after 9 years. And those "elite" t-shirts...um...LOL
  16. What precious points? Just because we went for it on 4th down does not mean jack! The secondary is HORRENDOUS! Plain and simple! Completely wrong, sir. If they take the FG, guess what? Ravens only need a FG to win. They lost 27-23. They could've been down 27-26 instead, with Tucker to ice the game. But nope, Harbs makes yet ANOTHER bonehead call. I've defended him for years. Not anymore.
  17. Yep. And no mention of Joe going 26-48 with ZERO touchdowns.
  18. He would've been a very, very expensive backup.
  19. Unless it's 4 down territory, no reason to go for it on 4th; especially with this disgusting offense. If they can't score on three tries; then a 4th is highly unlikely. Take the points, and live to fight another day.
  20. Exactly. He takes these gambles as if the offense is actually good. It'd be a bit more reasonable to take those chances if the offense proved it was capable. But they are not. Harbs has lost my confidence.
  21. Most of the sacks and hurries on Joe could be avoided if the offense just kept it simple, and moved the chains. Not ONE single slant route was run today. Everything was either a deep drag, a post, or deep in. And they wonder why Joe is getting sacked. "It's O line!!", you say. Well, do Joe and the line a favor, and actually run quick plays.
  22. Offensive schemes are completely different. Pats O is quick slants, quick outs, Y shakes in the seam. Whip routes from the slot. They run a very simple, yet efficient offense. Our offense is incredibly slow. The main reads are almost invariably deep, which take too much time to develop, leading to the inevitable check down, that gains a couple of yards, if Joe isn't sacked. Rinse, repeat.
  23. Wonder if they'll draft another super duper, fast as lightening receiver who can barely catch, and despite the speed, not get separation.
