agreed. We need to change our thinking in which we let our guys that produce walk and keep those that don't. Resigning wright was a mistake and could have used that money else where. A huge mistake!! Idk what Ozzie's fascination is with underwhelming secondary players but it has to stop. Meanwhile he will let players like Boldin and Osemele walk right out that door smh. Boldin & KO's contracts are/were bad deals. The Ravens got SSS for 1/3 of the cost of Boldin. Raiders will regret paying a Guard the price of the best LT in the game. If BWill wants a Malik Jackson $90-100 million deal - let him walk. There is a reason that the top teams in the league - Ravens, Pats, Squealers, Broncos - let their high price FA walk to bottom teams like Jags, Browns, Raiders, Redskins who overpay every year. You're right about the Ravens being their own worst enemy. All our losses can be pinned on the Ravens, not because the opponents were better.

Seems Stressed but that's what Losing does to you. Considering we are 8-15 since last year. Doesn't help that your 9 year Franchise QB forgot how to throw and we are stuck with him for at least 2 years even with the so called Weapons at his disposal. if flacco is to be released it will have to be after the 2019 season and even than it would count for $8 million against the cap or ride it out until 2020 which would cost the team nothing. they basically have to make it work with flacco under center these next 4 years. he needs confidence to get back on track You don't have to keep a bum Qb because you owe him money ! The money is accounted for and he is not GOD. Ya, they could cut him. But that would be incredibly dumb. Who do they replace him with? Yes, Joe has been trash, but it's not like he's easily replaced. He's still a starting QB in the NFL, and they are hard to come by. The team will ride it out. Perhaps in the mean time they draft a QB and groom him, then start him when Flacco's contract is up. (That is if the end of Joe's contract and the end of the rookie contracts end simultaneously.)

That's what I've been saying every game. The O line is bad. We all know that. So why don't the coaches game plan with that reality in mind? "Yes, we need to fix our O line issues. So we'll have Joe doing 5-7 step drops, waiting for guys to get down field." It is mind boggling to say the least. Joe's "big arm" is absolutely worthless when he's getting sacked. Just move the freaking chains. Run the ball, and get rid of the ball with short passes.

haha - this is true. It's a "loyalist" thing. They feel that overlooking Flacco's massive flaws is what being a true fan is, and that calling him out on his poor play is being seditious. Loyal to a fault.

Have you seen our division? The fact that we can make playoffs is because our DIVISION sucks, NFL isn't responsible for that. This I agree with.

Well, I don't know who you're referring to. But I haven't said that Flacco needs to be replaced. However, the difference between us and Browns fans is that we have expectations of winning, not settling. I'll admit; Flacco is our best option, and frankly, our only option. But he's not cutting it. And if you think calling a spade a spade is not being a true fan, then you don't know what you're talking about. Fans SHOULD expect better. And when your highest paid player (understandably the highest paid) is playing like garbage, true fans call it out. Simple as that. Flacco better step the heck up this week. If he doesn't, then he may be riding the pine...on principal.
