  1. Once your TD to INT ratio is flipped; maybe we can talk about celebrations.
  2. We're talking about Dallas' second to last touchdown, not their final one. Obviously, there is no way Pitt let Dallas score their last touchdown. lol. gotcah. my bad
  3. I don't think so. Bailey would have had to kick a game winning FG. I'm pretty sure Pitt would rather they forced them to win by a FG then score a TD leaving them, what, 9 seconds?
  4. This is definitely a winnable game. If our D can make Dallas one-dimensional, then we'll be in a position to win. However, Flacco cannot turn the ball over. He just needs to have a solid game and put them in position to score, and NOT throw stupid interceptions. This will be a low scoring game. Although I feel we CAN win, I don't think we will, because Flacco will inevitably do something to screw us over.
  5. I think they're awesome. I still prefer the black on black though. Those just look menacing. Don't know why they barely use them. Looks intimidating.
  6. Hoping he can be good enough to be on an island in a couple of years
  7. Haha, so true! FBAJ is about to have one solid game, after which all our ignorant fans will be like "Flacco is Elite, where are all the Flacco haters now" yadayadayada. Only to have Flacco come out the week after and throw for 71 yards and 4 INTs. Would be classic Flacco. Could not play consistently well even if his life depended on it. I would be fired long ago, if I were performing so inconsistently at my job. Define "consistently play well"? I would define this way: Routinely having good games, good enough to put your team in a position to win. Regularly put your offense in the red zone. Instead of a one good game every 5, how about more good games. Throw more TDs than INTs.

  9. Absolutely right. Mosley has been amazing this year. He's improved so much in the pass D. His vision and tackling are top notch. Him, Weddle, Jimmy, and BWill are the anchors of this D. Hopefully by season's end, Tavon Young will be among them.
  10. Nope. For starters, I don't recall seeing a team in recent memory draft a QB and let them sit for 4-5 years and then take over as a starter. Even Aaron Rodgers, who was drafted over a decade ago in a very different time for QBs, only say for 3 years. The main problem with doing this is that you lose the most beneficial part of having a good QB on a rookie deal... the salary cap benefits. If you spend a quality draft pick on a guy and get him at a cheaper rate, and then he sits for four years, by year five, when you find out he's good, you now have to pay market value for him. Its why you see so many teams that use first round picks on QBs are better off throwing them out there in the first year and just letting them learn how to swim. The financial benefits are exponentially better. Plus, 2019 is sort of the earliest date we would look to move on. In all honesty, you're probably looking at possibly another short extension at that point. We've seen plenty of QBs getting extensions at 34 and 35, which is right about what Joe will be at that time. In my opinion, we're married to him for at least another 5 years. I see. I didn't look at the whole picture. And as much as Flacco ticks me off; it's not like he's the worst QB of all time. He still has upside. He has the ability to play well and win games; as we've seen before. So I guess I'll just hope he gets better.
  11. Yeah not happening. Not worth discussing further. He's locked in as our QB through 2018. Nothing is changing that. You think it's possible that Ravens draft a QB, then when Joe's contract ends at the same time the rookie QB's contract ends, Joe is cut, and new QB takes the reigns?
  12. "Joe Flacco said Sunday's interception was result of bad decision, not mechanics" - YA THINK?!! It's the under-thrown and over-thrown passes that are due to bad mechanics. The picks are just due to being dumb.
  13. In Flacco's defense ( which is hard to do right now), it really is more the O line than Flacco. Yes he has mad some dumb throws under pressure, but the O line is just not holding, you can see it in our running game also. I'm hoping with Yanda and a couple other guys back from injury it should stiffen up a bit. The Browns will be a good test for us. We better hope so because we have a much harder schedule coming up. It's only going to get tougher after the Browns. Most of his "dumb" throws were in a clean pocket. He's jut not very good, and we need to accept that. I am not saying Mallett is the answer either. But Joe is literally one of the worst QBs in the league right now. And he was awful last year, before all the injuries. I don't believe you. The numbers don't lie.

  15. Joe has the ability. I just hope he gets back on track. Despite my earlier post, I am still a Flacco fan. I hope he gets back on track, too. But honestly, he's been sucking on every level. He has no fundamentals. So I ain't counting on it.
  16. If I remember correctly; the last time the Ravens steamrolled a team was the Buccaneers back in 2014, when Joe threw like 5 TDs in the first half. They ain't steamrolling anybody this year.
  17. I think its important to remember through the tough times that we are fans of the Ravens. I hear a lot of people that sound like they would rather support another team. I remember hearing exactly the same thing in 2012 when we lost a couple games in a row. Perhaps we should appreciate what has happened and where we are as we encourage our team to get better. I think hating people, being sick of them and that we suck, sounds like someone who would be better suited supporting a team that is perfect all the time. We have 2 super bowls in less than 2 decades and a QB coming of a serious knee injury. Ben had a minor injury to his knee and how well did he play yesterday? He wasn't as good as Joe, he threw 4 balls that should have been interceptions, our defense just can't catch, and until we went into prevent zone with a 21 - 0 lead Ben could do nothing. I was there when the 2000 Ravens defense got us a super bowl after no TD's after 5 games and I was there in 2012 when the defense got us into the playoffs where Flacco shined. Looked at Flacco's stats. This is who he is, who he has always been except for when he is in the playoffs. We have always leaned on our defense. If our defense gets there and Flacco comes alive in the playoffs, I can see you bandwagon fans just piling on. You're actually pretty dead on. I always had Flacco's back. Not anymore though. However, I am a Ravens fan, and I will always pull for them. But if it walks like a duck, I'll call it a duck. And Joe is a duck. I hope he does get better, but I do not have confidence in him. And if...IF, they make the playoffs; I can't see Joe suddenly getting better. Not this time. I hope I'm wrong.
  18. Ya man. I get Harbs saying that, as he's just saying the same old coach speak lines. But it'd be nice if Flacco actually said: "You know. I am disappointed, especially in myself. This is my offense, and I need flat out stop sucking, and play like a starting QB for the Baltimore Ravens!"
  19. Flacco has the most work to do. But I am not counting on him awakening from his slumber. Dude is terrible. Watch that pick, when he threw across his body, into a bunch of Steelers, meanwhile, a WR was wide open on Joe's throwing side. When you slide out of a collapsing pocket, it's supposed to give you time to look elsewhere. But Joe, like a dumb JUCO freshman QB, keeps his eyes fixated on Pitta, then gives the Steelers a freebie. That was at least 3 points that Joe took a poo on. The saddest part about it is that Joe ain't going anywhere, and Mallett is DEFINITELY not the answer. Shame
  20. Was thinking the same thing. His presence alone makes the Ravens better
  21. You're slowly inching your way into accepting the fact that Flacco sucks.
