  1. Think this is a bit of a myth though. They typically churn out at least 1-2 high quality NFL players every year, which is pretty strong. I think this perception is applied to them because they're getting at least 7-8 guys drafted every single year. Some drafts are better than others, obviously. 2011 had three exceptional players in it (Dareus, Julio, Ingram) 2012 had some quality players (Kirkpatrick, Barron, Hightower) 2013 was a down year 2014 had Mosley but probably not much else 2015 had Amari Cooper and Landon Collins, two stud players We could've had Collins.... : (
  2. Marshon Lattimore, Quincy Wilson, Teez Tabor, Marlon Humphrey, Chidobe Awuzie, Rasul Douglas, Fabian Moreau, Cordrea, Joudan Lewis, Kevin King, Corn Elder, Sidney Jones, Howard Wilson all look like starters to me....we need to get at least one of them!!!!
  3. After McAllister left....we drafted Webby to fill in that corner role.... In typical No. 21 fashion, he played admirably...the thing I noticed, is how violently he played at the line as a press corner in his early years....Thank you bud and I wish you the very best!
  4. $27.5 due up front? What does that look like, $5.3M a year? Not bad...shouldn't hurt us too bad cap wise
  5. Not too sure why we are going after Morris Claiborne...he's neither good nor healthy Personally, I'd like to go after Prince Amukamara. He's had injury problems too, but at least played decently throughout. Played 14 games last year. Claiborne only played 7 I believe...
  6. Just heard his interview. Maybe he reads this, maybe he won't. But hopefully his career in football doesn't end here. Hopefully he becomes a coach and teaches the things that made him successful to some lucky kids. He was too small, too slow, and too unathletic to get drafted or signed to a bigger school than North Texas....but he came into the NFL and showed us he wasn't too small, too slow, or too unathletic....you'll be missed and thank you for an excellent year! Best of luck to you!
  7. Jonathan Cyprien anyone? He'd be a good SS option so that Weddle coam roam the field a bit more. We could also get him at a reasonable price. Or how about Prince Amukamara? He was only signed to a one year deal with the Jags and he is certainly better than playing Shareece for any while longer. He would be a cheaper option as well. His signing would also help move Tavon to the inside and allow us to pick up other needs in the draft, in case no worthy corner falls to us. However, I am hopeful we draft Teez Tabor or Adoree Jackson.
  8. This is a nice list.....and the exact same people I was thinking of...minus Peppers
  9. Hire Ed Reed away as defensive backs coach and promote Chris Hewitt to lead the secondary. Also, don't get why the pundits are saying the 2015 draft will be a worse draft for us....Perriman can develop, as can Maxx Williams, Boyle and Allen....My darkhorse pick for future pro bowler is Carl Davis
  10. Ogden is once in a lifetime talent....plus the man was 6'9 350 LBs and could maul....If only Jared Gaither could play like he did.... Ronnie will be good, but never on JO's level
  11. Anyone notice how bad Matt Elam was? He got stiffed armed on a third down by Burkhead and then Eifert burns him on fourth down....
  12. Meanwhile in San Francisco...Torrey Smith is making $4.5M this year, catching 17 balls for 243 yards and 2 TDs... I'd say Perriman is the better value here
  13. Unfortunately your prediction wasn't true...it was worse....
