The top two FB contracts are Olawale (Raiders) Sherman (Chiefs) at roughly $6mill/3yr and and only a third guaranteed. It drops sharply off of a cliff after that. I can see testing the market having the same rude awakening as when Justin Forsett thought he was going to cash out. There isn't much market value for even the best FBs so I see the same small money /short term contract comice kyle's way. Its pennies from us or pennies from another team.

Tavon Young looked pretty lost to me. You could tell he out of his element playing outside. Their TE gave him the business and Jackson simply ran by him unchecked. Let Sheldon Price have a crack at it.

I don't think this guy is expected line up wide. He's likely to be replacement for Will Davis if he's not healthy or challenge Arrington after he proved to be less than effective. As a nickel I have no problems giving him a shot.

I wouldn't put too much stock in ball dropping in college. There are multiple reports I've read with historical data showing there's very little correlation between drops in college and drops in the Pros. He doesn't need to be much faster either. He could even be a little bit slower, and he'd be just fine. He's expected to be more versatile and dynamic than a Torrey Smith or Mike Wallace. Perriman is less versatile than either Wallace or Smith.Then again the biggest mistake we made was trying to turn Smith into short range possession to suite Kubiak's "high percentage philosophy/ Sometime you simply have to let speed do what it does.

And that's why we have Mosley to handle communications. A good offense will exploit inexperience at any position on the defense. Mosley isn't there yet. not by a long shot.

Lack of experience probably isn't a bad thing either, considering it's not really a position that requires it. An unseasoned MLB is a sitting duck as he's going handle communications. When the see a look he can exploit we're stuck with whatever the DC sent in. Even if an offense show a vulnerable look we can exploit that inexperienced MLB doesn't have the IQ to pick up on it ,communicate it ,or audible out. MLB isn't all about brawn and stats.

The idea of plugging i safety is ridiculous. THE AFC North still runs and we have to be prepared. in addition to that there's no way we trust communication and adjustment to anyone listed. You can't draft NFL experience so June 1 casualty is our best hope IMO. OTOH there seems to be an idea among fans that we can just pick up replacements like this at the corner store.

They thought there was no market for him and he'd come crawling back for pennies. He wasn't a QB killer. That Doom's job. Upshaw was the run stuffer , edge setter, and he did both well. That's why Doom and Upshaw were swapped in and out. He wasn't a complete LB but what he brought is not easily replaced. in addition to Upshaw we don't have veteran presence at MLB. We have have some work to do.

Trawick is gone and Brown can play ST. tray Tray Walker didn't make a huge impact before getting concussed. Make no mistake we are going need bodies as the season goes so even if he doesn't have a major role it's better to go with someone not starting from square one. That's just my armchair opinion.

He's suspend for 10 games but the Ravens began transitioning away from him back in November when they started plugging in Webb at safety. This seems to be a case of raining and pouring. His career is likely over.
