  1. He caught 33 of 66 targets. That's a big disappointment for a first round WO. Perriman is close to being a certified bust and looking elsewhere for work next year. That kid is playing for his football life. We will still need to take a WO either way because the Ravens won't being paying Wallace top dollar to extend.
  2. Well, he sure showed us!....didn't he?
  3. Flaco doesn't need to take a paycut. When you look at contracts for Jimmy Smith, Doom, and Webb there are plenty of places where we spend big and get little.
  4. This guy is someone that will teach a system instead try to force it like Castillo. A guy that doesn't meddle and interfere like Castillo (according to preston) is a welcome edition.Roman is assembling his pit crew.
  5. He was reduced to almost bystander under kubiak you have o think with his record and poor results he would have reduced to that again. I wouldn't doubt that he given a chance to leave before getting fired and have that on his resume. In any case it's a win Baltimore in a big way. My prayers go out to the Buffalo Bills. Their O-line (and whatever QB) is in big trouble.
  6. To me Dumervil doesn't necessarily sound like he wants out. He sounds like a guy that sees the writing on the wall or at the very least accepts salary cap realities. His contract , age, and durability are all big factors. $6million in cap space is hard to pass up. Kendrick Lewis is the easiest pick of the lot.
  7. The top two FB contracts are Olawale (Raiders) Sherman (Chiefs) at roughly $6mill/3yr and and only a third guaranteed. It drops sharply off of a cliff after that. I can see testing the market having the same rude awakening as when Justin Forsett thought he was going to cash out. There isn't much market value for even the best FBs so I see the same small money /short term contract comice kyle's way. Its pennies from us or pennies from another team.
  8. Basically Joe , Yanda , and Dennis saying they have thier issues but want to keep thier name out of it. They don't want some journalist or blogger to have anything to run with and exaggerate .
  9. Tavon Young looked pretty lost to me. You could tell he out of his element playing outside. Their TE gave him the business and Jackson simply ran by him unchecked. Let Sheldon Price have a crack at it.
  10. I hope we don't waste another roster into November over what "may" happen.
  11. It wasn't meant to be. Place him on IR , release him with a settled contract in January, and close this chapter for the last time.
  12. I don't think this guy is expected line up wide. He's likely to be replacement for Will Davis if he's not healthy or challenge Arrington after he proved to be less than effective. As a nickel I have no problems giving him a shot.
  13. I wouldn't put too much stock in ball dropping in college. There are multiple reports I've read with historical data showing there's very little correlation between drops in college and drops in the Pros. He doesn't need to be much faster either. He could even be a little bit slower, and he'd be just fine. He's expected to be more versatile and dynamic than a Torrey Smith or Mike Wallace. Perriman is less versatile than either Wallace or Smith. Then again the biggest mistake we made was trying to turn Smith into short range possession to suite Kubiak's "high percentage philosophy/ Sometime you simply have to let speed do what it does.
  14. "...get a tackle after the first round to work with respected Offensive Line Coach Juan Castillo. " I got such a chuckle out of that. the O'line has moved backwards since handing it back over to Castillo. The sharpness and precision we saw under kubiak is gone. It has nothing to injury and everything to do with execution. This just another article to keep Castillos name out the mud just like there first PR campaign for him last off season.
