  1. 2-0, divisional game, so i don't care how ugly it looked......We did what i said we would do yesterday, forget the run game, throw the ball when we have the weapons, they committed to stop the run, which they did, but couldn't stop our passing game....Had Flacco not made 2 bad throws for INTs we could have won by more, a little deeper Perriman had Haden beat...Good game for our guys who played with heavy hearts....

  2. Division games are never easy, and playing the Browns are usually ugly games, but hey Joe had 300, Pitta had 100, and Wallace 2 TD's, and thank god we have a kicker.........And i think we all know the team was playing with pretty heavy hearts......Wright has had a jeckle and Hyde 2 weeks, last week he was a stud, this week a dud, but we got through it and won....2-0 is nice....

  3. Love Judon's game, and obviously KC hasn't done enough to get reps, as Judon leaped frogged him and getting reps on D.....I would like to see KC up his game, but Harbs and Pees don't play players they don't have 100% faith in, speaks volumes for Judon....I also wish Z was playing, as not only can he rush, he sets a nice edge, and is making himself into a complete OLBer.....

  4. We are all going to cringe anytime we here there is a issue with Perriman, but the X-Factor is Wallace....He still has it, and he was so right when he said he needed to play for a QB with a strong arm, it offended Bridgewater when he said it, but, hey after 1 game, he gets his first TD of over 50 yards in over 3 years......And Moore like i said before has strong hands that reminds me of Boldin's hands....To me Perriman playing this year is a bonus.....I am just hoping he practices today, and continue his comeback...

Fingers crossed about Perriman. It would be heartbreaking to lose another season.

Coach Harbs declined to comment on his status but says later his afternoon it will be revealed for the injury report

he will probably be listed as questionable, i think they just don't want him to do to much, as they said they would take it slow with him, and with Wallace they can afford to.....hoping that is the case...Also saw Z didn't practice....Hoping that is just a day off, he really has played well...

I dont know if you can call the Trestman opinion and 'overreaction.'

Everyone was concerned when they hired him that he would play smash moth football and instead try and turn this team into a passing team..that WONT work in the AFC N.

Nothing in Trestman's recent coaching has indicated in any way that he will be a run-first OC.

Did you watch the Squealers destroy the Skins by being a passing team? Or the Bengals destroy the Jets by throwing to AJ Green for 150+ yards against Revis? The old AFC North - run & play D is gone - if you don't have a passing game, you lose in today's NFL. See what happened to the Rams with one of the best RB and one of the best Defenses in the game - can't throw, can't win, can't do it. The Rules have changed - can't hit a WR catching the ball, can't hit the QB high or low, o-line can't cut block on running plays, etc - it's now a passing league, period. Yes, you still have to have a Run game and a good D, but you're not winning without throwing the ball more than running it.

Well to be fair, Pit did what they wanted as Williams ran for 140 pus yards, but i think teams are looking for a 3-1 pass run ratio so 100 yards rushing, and 250-300+ passing is a pretty good formula....:)

  7. Well, i don't recall being in the redzone all but maybe once with that penalty we took when they gave us a first down after tuck made the FG, but we have the WR for redzone plays as most, except for SSS are 6 feet or taller...Flacco really didn't have a lot of time to throw the entire day, and isn't yet mobile enough to roll out of the pocket....Once he knocks off the rust we will see him buy more time rolling out when the pocket caves in.....Honestly i'm not to worried being the first game, and as i said yesterday, first full game for all the players coming back from injury played.....Suggs looked rusty, and not explosive, but he will come around....And to be honest, again when the so-called experts had us winning by more than we did, they obviously forgot that a Rex Ryan defense is no joke.....I will say its been a while since i have seen our defense play so fast, and gang tackle like we did......Can't wait for Sunday....

  8. Well power ranking really don't mean much when the voters really don't have a clue, for instance yes Pits win of the Skins was impressive as far as points, but both teams defenses gave up a ton of yards, we played a team with a coach known for their defense, and we kept a dynamic offense with play makers to 160 yards of offense. So putting up over 300 yards on offense and giving up only 160 in a pass happy league is impressive, and if the critics can't see that, then they just aren't paying attention...Regardless we are 1-0, and that's what only matters W's and L's....

Forsett 4.1 per carry, now thats what i'm talking about....He still has that burst, and West is very shifty, and can run with power as well....Once Dixon gets into the mix, we will be even better.....O-Line gets somewhat of a pass, as it was very evident Flacco wasn't mobile yesterday, hopefully as the season goes on, he will be able to roll out of trouble, but as expected he also has to shake of some rust, and trust the knee...Glad we have a grass field as turf can be heck on knees.....

O line will improve as Flacco gets rid of the ball sooner. I want to see Trestman smacking Joe upside the back of the head (wearing a helmet) every time he holds onto the ball longer than 3 seconds in practice. Not to injure but to really go "HEY YOUR MOST LIKELY GETTING SMACKED AROUND NOW." Joe is tough but no need to take those extra hits, they pile up over the course of a long season and hopefully playoffs. I really enjoyed seeing the ball spread around so much. It will make game planning against the Ravens very difficult when there is no single WR to double or plan against.

Agreed, teams just can;t play 8 in the box like they did last year, we just have to many legit weapons, and Morres 13 yard reception didn't get a lot of press, but how key was that, at that time of the game....

No sure things in divisional games, they are always dog fights, the Jags have had a pretty solid D over the last few years, but i feel our weapons will soften up the 8 in the box teams have been playing against us.....Just loved the way the Defense was swarming to the ball, and Orr was very impressive, played sideline to sideline like i haven't seen in a while....When i watched the game, i thought J.Smith looked bad, but holding Watkins to 43 yards is a stellar job on a legit #1 WR....Keep a eye on two things that might happen in the near future....Buck Allen getting traded, and Urschel replacing Zuttah....JMO,....

Pretty sure healthy scatch of Buck Allen was a wake up call to pick up his game again. Preseason was quite lack luster as far a running. Yes he was given credit for his play last season, but cannot hang your hat on that all season. Gotta get going and we know he can. Do it!

Just looking at the backs we have, as Forsett showed he still has it, and West showed he earned the PT, and both have good hands, add Dixon to the mix, just not enough carries or touches for 4 backs...I just think if we can get something for him, we should while we can...Love Buck, but its a numbers game IMO....And Buck deserves a shot at playing, just don't see a lot of touches for him here with the depth we have with the top 3....JMO...

  13. Here is the good....1. The potential of this offense is unlimited, so many weapons, and we just got a taste from the run game and pass game.2...The Defense look fast and nasty, and was gang tackling, and again, having so much young talent, like Z, Pierce, Orr, Pierce, and (Henry will get his chance) makes for a lot of excitement for me....The bad....really considering this was the first time the starters played and entire game, i didn't see a lot that was horrible, i mean you hold a team to 160 total yards, 1 score, and missed opportunities on offense due to rust, i would say over-all A- to B+ considering no one knew what to expect....JMO....
