The other reason why Waller isn't being moved onto the 53 man roster now, is he needs to get into football shape, and the week that has been given to make a decision on Waller gives him a week to get into better shape, where as Brown has been in shape, and practicing every week, so no-brainier move there, and it allows time to evaluate Maxx, and whether his injury is serious enough to IR him....So no issues with the move made, but still i feel we need to really focus on getting the O-Line depth upgraded, and i like the fact we did bring in a O-Lineman....

Our WR's aren't the issue, its been pass protection, and honestly Flacco not being 100% as we all see he hasn't been able to step into his throws, and has thrown flat footed, and is a big reason why he has one hopped a lot of his passes so far this year...JMO......

WR is one of our deeper positions, as Wallace, SSS, Aiken, Perriman are the top 4, with Pitta, and Crockett, and now with Brown just gives us another mismatch as he will blow by LBers trying to cover him, so our TE position is in good shape.....Honestly i would have focused on our depth on the O-Line as we saw how exposed our backups were......

I think Waller decision to wait a week, actually buys them more time to see where Maxx is at, and if they need to IR him, if so, that will open the spot for Waller....Now Dixon he was on the 53 man roster, he just wasn't active so not sure a move needed to be made for him....

I wish had him for his entire career, he is a warrior on the field, but has the heart of a Lion off.....One of a kind, and we are lucky to have him.....

Part of the problem is that Flacco waits too long for things to "develop" when they were never there in the first place. Flacco consistently makes poor decisions and fixates. He makes the decision that he's going to throw to certain target, and when the defense has it shut down he waits for it to open up. In the meantime, routes that were open have now been sewn up. Everyone thought so much of Flacco completing 21 passes in a row. By and large, those were short to medium passes that Flacco got rid of quickly. This coaching staff needs to get it through their heads that looking for that one exciting play isn't going to win football games. We need to play smart, strategic, balanced football. Otherwise we're this is going to continue to be yet another mediocre year.

that might be true, but having watched the Raiders game, superman couldn't find the time to throw, the pass protection was a joke.....but no where to go but up i imagine...So here is my plan..ha ha.....Have the Colts lose a few more, so they fire Pags, we get Pags in Pees out....wait for Detroit to keep falling on their faces, and Caldwell in, and Trestman out.....:)

I think not if he is picked up by somebody else though.

it actually says if he gets picked up, it's just extra money for him....His contract i don't think has the luxury of clauses like that in it, and being paid what many have considered cheap for a PB RB, is probably why it was fully guaranteed if he was on the week one roster...

when Flacco doesn't have time to throw a crossing route, how can he go deep when he has no time for plays to develop......You have to protect your QB if you want to throw any mid range to deep routes.....Our backup LT, and LG were exposed, he had no chance on passing downs....I expect that to change with Stanley and Lewis back, and they get more games under their belts....JMO....

Just glad he walks away with his salary, he gave it his all, and he never complained...Stand up guy, who stepped in and stepped up when we needed him too.......The writing was on the wall, and i think had Dixon not been hurt he would have probably been cut and not brought back....He should latch on with a team, every week the injury list across the league is worthy of a MASH unit...

It's called competition and it makes everyone better, as Harbaugh says.

Competition is done through camp, with West getting carries his YPC is where we want it to be, and he registered a 100 yard game....When a team has struggled, and a player steps up, and outplayed the competition then you reward him with the starting job.....Showing you have confidence in a key position is part of the so-called confidence you have that the offense will get where it needs to be....

I don't think its smart at all not to name West the starter, its all about mind set for players......I don't agree any player should go into every week not knowing, name him the starter until further notice, should be his job to lose....He ran hard, played hard, and turned the game offensively in the 2nd half.....Dixon needs to get into real game shape, and if he proves he is the better back, then go from there, but until then he hasn't played a real NFL game yet.....JMO......

It would be great if our offense was predicated on protecting Joe.

If we had the money to keep KO, and with Stanley we would have, but it will be very good over the next few years with Stanley and Lewis. Urschel will be our future center as well......When your good for so long, the cap space is our biggest enemy in keeping players.....

Love Dooms honesty, and expectations......Its a shame a player coming back from injury can only get up to speed playing real games, would be nice if there were a minor league team to send him down to for a few games.....:)

I just think Lewis and Urschel should have been put in, after Joe was put on his back after the 15th time.....Both were active, and if the guys you put in are getting your QB killed you have to make a change....One of issues i have with Harbs and the coaching staff is in game adjustments....Don't wait until Monday to look at the game film to figure out a change needs made, when it is to late......

Every team we face will have a above average pass rusher, that is why we can't wait until the 2nd half to be balanced, only until we started running the ball did Joe get a half more second to throw the ball, but when they knew he was throwing he had no chance for any route to develop, that's is how bad the protection was.....

He fumbled but recovered it, Flacco's fumble was recovered by them....And Hest had a fumble he recovered as well. With Hest seems we will have to take the good with the bad, as he did have a nice return...

Only stat that matters is W's and L's, and this was a game we could have won, had Pees kept his foot on the gas on their game winning drive, and if Flacco had anytime to actually throw the ball, yes he under threw a lot of guys this year, but still he had basically zero time when they knew he had to throw.....

More deep passes? Seriously, he didn't have time to get a crossing route off before getting crushed...The left side of the line was horrible, and i said it last week, if Lewis was not a scratch, he should have gotten the start at LT, as he has started every game, and IMO a better option than Hurst, Jensen looked exposed as well, and why we didn't give Urschel a shot after Flacco had been hit for like the 15th time is a clue to me......If it weren't for West's strong running in the 2nd half, and had Flacco thrown as much as he did in the 1st half, Flacco would probably still be in the Ice tub, if not seriously injured......and Pees, with the prevent defense when we took the lead, is why he needs to go....Keep doing what works, and continue to put some pressure on the QB......

No idea why Harbs stuck with Hurst, i said Lewis should have gotten the start at LT if he was active....I would have gone Lewis LT,and Urschel at LG.....They left side got blown up all day long, and why Pees goes into prevent when we go up by 7, Raiders didn't go into prevent when we had it last....Lots of blame goes around, but the coaches get the most, as they should know better....The Raiders had their right side with players who were back-ups, and yet they gave Carr a lot of time to throw....This one stings....

Judon has really been solid, hate seeing him sit out...

Bring Houston up from the PS, big back, and showed a nice burst for a big man....

No problem if Lewis started at LT and Urschel played LG....Lewis has started every game, and having been a LT at Nebraska, and with his size i think he is a better option than Hurst.....JMO.....

Difference is the last years youth were forced into tons of PT, which made them ready to play at this level this year, and this years draft class isn't to shabby.....Weddle makes a huge difference back there as well.

Waller would never clear waivers.....He had a beast of a training camp...
